Approaching the time of birth, Aira woke up early and tried to move her body by taking a walk in the back garden. Aira took the time to pluck brightly colored twigs and leaves and arrange them in a tall vase.
Not long after his phone rang, from Erigo who said that he would go home sooner because his work did not take long and he wanted Aira to prepare to go shopping.
"Again?" Ask Aira wonder. "We just went shopping last week and I haven't even had time to put on those clothes, now you want us to go shopping again?"
"Not for you, baby. It's for the baby." Aira just remembered their plan to decorate her baby's room. "We're going to go. But you need to rest first so you don't get too tired."
After disconnecting her call, Aira went back inside the house and climbed into the bedroom. Within seconds, Aira was asleep again. It is truly magical to see how easily a pregnant person falls asleep.
When Aira woke up, she felt much better. He washed his face with cold water, brushed his teeth and came out to find Erigo sitting in the garden talking to Morti, their gardener.
Erigo turned his head, threw a probing glance, then nodded in satisfaction. "You look a lot fresher. Ready to travel?"
Aira's cheeks blushing. "I can't wait to go."
Erigo chose one of the biggest baby supply stores in the city, he looked so excited as if he wanted to buy the entire store at once. Aira felt she had to stop her husband.
They looked around, Aira placed her hand on Erigo's arm. "I'm so confused. What do you think we need?"
"What about the crib? A stroller? Baby chair?" Said. "We need at least two pieces each. Color pastel blue and pink."
Aira. "Erigo, that's a lot. The room will be too cramped and claustrophobic by stuff."
Aira saw a shopkeeper approaching them. "We need to ask for help." Said Aira smiling.
Aira lets Erigo choose and approve whatever Erigo chooses. Initially Aira had no intention of shopping much, just a few items they needed, however, those things turned out to be very tempting.
Erigo picked up two elephant-shaped dolls, one pink and one blue, and wagged them. "It's so funny. The color is suitable especially for the nursery."
Aira laughing. "Alright, put that in."
They were standing next to a pink toy tent, next to which was another blue one. Aira was tempted to buy it, but of course the babies did not need it yet. Maybe in about 3 or 4 years.
"We can buy it." Erigo said as if he knew Aira's thoughts.
Aira shakes. "No.no.. No need yet." Aira tried to walk away, but her legs betrayed her.
Erigo insisted. "We buy it. Can be folded and stored until.. "
"Up to 4 years?" Cut Aira. "No Erigo, leave it. We don't need it yet." Aira tries to pull Erigo away from there.
Then Erigo suddenly stopped. When Aira turned her head, she saw Erigo was staring at the other tent. This time a bigger tent, fit for adults. The windows are creamy, with a typical Indian cone model.
"You want to buy that?" Ask Aira.
Erigo nodded. He looked at Aira and his gaze begged. "Can?"
Aira almost laughed. "May be." He said, shrinking his nose. Either the tent was to be put where, but Aira was quite amazed to see the childish side that emerged from within Erigo. And that's a fun thing.

"Sleep." Erigo orders once they get home. After a busy shopping event, they stopped by a restaurant for dinner before heading home.
"Sleep." Repeated Erigo firmly. "You need a break, baby." Erigo's gaze turned to Aira's stomach. He stretched out his hand and rubbed it. Erigo looked down to kiss Aira's stomach while talking to her babies. "Let mommy rest, baby. Don't kick too hard."
Aira smiled at the message Erigo delivered to the babies in her stomach. He wanted to argue because he was not sleepy, but once he looked at Erigo, Aira knew that it would be a waste of energy if he denied. So he went up the stairs to his room, where his bed was soft and warm. Surprisingly Aira was immediately attacked by drowsiness and fell asleep. That easy.
She slept through the night, not even knowing when her husband would get into bed or when he woke up. It seemed like his body had become extremely tired and he had awakened in silence. Aira thought the house was empty. But after bathing and getting dressed, Aira found her husband was busy setting up a tent in the shadow of the back porch roof. Morti the gardener was crouching to help Erigo.
Aira walked over and smiled as Erigo floated a short kiss on her cheek. "So here you put it?"
"really. I'll put up a flickering light and hang it with some photos. That's great, isn't it?" Erigo was proud of his own idea. The man lowered his head towards Aira's stomach and muttered a good morning greeting to the babies inside the stomach before dipping it a glance.
"Then, I guess I can have Ellie set up a table for dinner in front of this tent later. With those lights." Aira.
"okay." Erigo nodded in satisfaction.
Aira left the two to finish the job and went to the kitchen. Ask for cereal and yogurt for breakfast. After breakfast, Aira brews a pot of tea, lays some freshly baked corn muffins and delivers them directly to the hard-working Erigo and Morti.
Erigo looked satisfied as he observed his tent. He smiled at Aira and thanked her for the tea and snacks. Before Aira re-enters the house, Erigo reminds her to prepare for childbirth and puts her in a suitcase.
Aira finished packing the items she needed to give birth, aided by a housekeeper. The assistant placed her briefcase in the corner of the room, along with two elephant dolls they had just bought yesterday.
Aira stared satisfiedly at her suitcase and thanked her domestic assistant. When the girl turned around and closed the door of the room, a sharp jolt felt in Aira's stomach. "Oh.. Oh.. Ouch!"
Aira held onto the wall of her room. Feels weird. 'Is the baby? Feels not.' Think Aira.
Now the pain is gone. Should I call a doctor now?
Aira's not going to give birth yet, her doctor says it's still a few weeks away. So maybe this is a false alarm?
At least Aira does not want to be a woman who easily panic and call the doctor dozens of times, even though all of them are not signs of true birth. Aira tried to calm down while remembering what she learned from pregnancy classes and guidebooks.
Aira was restless all day, exploring the house and looking for something to do. He cleaned the sink downstairs even though it looked shiny and spotless. He tidied up a spice rack in the kitchen, checked the refrigerator, picked up a duster and wiggled it around.
Erigo caught his wrist. "You look tired, go to bed. Let the housekeeper do it." Erigo.
"I'm not tired." Said Aira, then the stinging sensation again hit her stomach, as if there was a rope tied around Aira's stomach and pulled tighter. "Ouch!"
Aira dropped her helmet and grabbed Erigo's shoulder to hold on. His hand touched his lower abdomen. Then the pain disappeared again.
"What's wrong?" Asked Erigo worriedly. "Is the baby?" Her husband looked shocked and panicked.
Aira straightened her body. "I'm already okay. Just a little jolt. I think I'd better take a break." Smiling words.
"You sure?" Erigo looked at him probing.
"I'm sure. Go work. Do something or anything. Don't worry." Say Aira again.
"I'm not worried." Erigo told a lie. Though he was very worried. Aira looked more tired in the later days of her pregnancy, but her wife remained stubborn.
After confirming Aira was speaking in her room, Erigo stepped into the studio and called someone.
