Aira's Choice Man

Eps 62

Aira and Erigo arrive at the quiet obstetrician's office by the roadside. They arrived a few minutes earlier than promised. Erigo exits first before opening the car door for Aira and extends his hand to help Aira out.

Aira held on to Erigo's arm to maintain her balance while walking. His gestational age had only stepped on five months, but the bulge on his stomach could not be hidden. His stomach was rounded because there were two babies sleeping.

As it had become a habit, Aira checked hesitantly into the surroundings. He is still not used to the presence of photographers who suddenly take their photos in various places. Aira doesn't like things about her pregnancy in the news. Although it is not possible to also hide it especially when now they are in front of the obstetric clinic.

He did not know how long before the press knew the location of the gynecologist, but his estimate would not be long, given how Erigo and the members always appear in the tabloids.

Erigo clasped Aira's hand, and she smiled gently as if she knew what Aira had in mind. He lowered his head towards Aira and swept a glance at her lips. "Come on." Said. "We'll see what the twins are doing in there. Then we can go shopping."

They stepped into the waiting room of the clinic. The waiting room was filled with women. They were sitting side by side on the sofa, or on chairs, some were still standing next to the reception desk. From what Erigo observed, they all had one thing in common, each of them had a large stomach.

Erigo could feel the grip of Aira's fingers on his arm tighten from nervousness. Erigo realizes Aira's discomfort is in the middle of a crowd that is unfamiliar to him. Erigo lowered his head, peeping over the top of Aira's head which only reached his shoulder. The woman was so small and looked fragile.

"Anira?"

Aira looked up at Erigo. Erigo gave her a smile. "All will be well." Erigo. Aira simply nodded without saying a word. But he saw, the woman kept smiling every time she made eye contact with some other women there. It was obvious that they knew who Erigo and Aira were.

When their turn came, a technician stood at the door. "Mrs.Galleni?"

They both stood up. The last time they came here, Erigo only saw a dark shadow the size of a bean on the monitor screen. This time Erigo was nervous as he was going to see what their babies looked like. And it seems like Aira feels the same way.

"You look healthier, Miss Aira." The doctor said he started a conversation. "You eat well?"

"I ate a lot of doctors. And still be hungry." Said Aira smiling.

"really. I deduce the nausea cure works, don't you think? I see your weight hasn't gone up much. But I think the babies took everything they could get from their mothers. You ready to see them again?"

Aira and Erigo smiled.

Erigo sat down on the chair beside his wife and clasped Aira's hand. Erigo felt a sense of amazement when he saw the babies floating in the womb Aira through the monitor. Look at the fingers and toes of their babies. Occasionally, she is seen jolting when her baby kicks.

Aira squeezed Erigo's hand and looked at him with a happy look.

"Your daughter's son is very healthy and vibrant." Said the doctor.

That's the most incredible thing Erigo's ever heard. Their daughter's son. That means a pair, male and female. He leaned his body towards Aira and kissed her.

The friendly doctor also recommended some pregnancy reading books that Aira could study. It is also suggested that Aira can take the time to take pregnancy classes to prepare for childbirth.

The next few days were easy to guess as expected. Several articles appeared, their photos in front of the gynecologist's practice were scattered.

"When did they take these pictures?" Ask Aira. He could not stop his body from shuddering in horror. The press can do anything, it turns out.

Pregnancy hormones affect Aira a lot. She can no longer force her body to wake up early until she wakes up sometimes to find her husband has gone to work, or is already in her music studio.

Aira stepped down the stairs at a speed rivaling that of a turtle. "Good morning." Said.

Erigo put his coffee cup on the table and smilingly looked at Aira, thinking how warm and very beautiful Aira looked. "Good morning, baby." Erigo smiled amusedly. "You good day, I guess."

Aira grimaced in shame. "I think I'm bad again."

"It's okay. You want to eat something? Drink?" Erigo gets out of his chair and pulls the chair for Aira to sit down, while his kitchen worker, Ellie, is busy preparing food for Aira.

"Where's Polly?"

"He went shopping." Erigo replied quickly. It has been an hour since Erigo asked Polly to shop so that Aira does not need to be burdened.

Aira looked at Erigo, her husband looking neat. "You want to go?"

"I'm hosting a music talk show, you forgot? Filming starts at 2." Erigo replied as he pushed a plate of fruits in front of Aira.

Aira observed the clock on the wall. It's still half eleven. Erigo usually leaves sooner so he can still be in makeup before shooting the video starts.

Erigo narrowed his eyes looking at the change in expression on Aira's face. "You want to say something?"

"I'll make your makeup, so you can stay home longer. Can that be?" Ask Aira.

Erigo smiled. "You miss work? We better call Winne and say it like that. So I can go a little slower." Erigo could agree on anything as long as it would make Aira happy.

Aira smiled and nodded.

Lately there's not much Aira can do in the office. Just sign a stack of documents, then other documents. He felt very bored.

Now Aira has a chance to do the job she likes. He cleaned up the breakfast scraps and walked back and forth excitedly carrying a large stomach containing two babies.

Her mouth could not stop smiling as her hands deftly polished the makeup on her husband's face.

"You really like this kind of activity, don't you?" Erigo smiled looking at Aira.

"Like it very much." Answer Aira.

Erigo pulled Aira and sat her down on the lap. "If you promise to keep showing off that beautiful smile for me all day, I will happily get ready from home and leave later in order to be with you."
