The Eps 27

Nearly an hour passed on the way. Aira had no idea what was really going on, but the man beside her was driving in silence. Erigo looked extremely angry and Aira did not even dare to ask. He just bit his lip in worry.

A somber atmosphere covered inside the moving car drove towards the way home.

His phone rang, Aira saw Erigo at a glance and answered him "Hello Winne.. " She said.

Winne's voice sounded riled up and worried. "Where are you, Mareth? What the hell is going on here? Why is everyone leaving?" Quickly ask. Winne was as confused as Aira.

Aira began to bite the tip of her thumb out of anxiety. "I'm on my way home with Erigo. Ii'm sorry. I don't know what's really going on either, but I'll let you know when we get there, okay." Said Aira timidly glancing at Erigo. "Have Kei returned to the villa yet?" Tanya Aira was worried. Aira is worried that Kei is leaving alone while he is dragged home by Erigo.

"He came back about half an hour ago. Kei called his manager to pick him up, now he's packing, I guess." Winne replied hesitantly. "He locked himself in Aira's room."

Winne breathed in frustration. "I don't know what's going on, Kei looks upset and sad, he doesn't want to talk to me or anyone. And Devano had been banging on Kei's bedroom door since then but the girl didn't want to go out or make a sound. I'm so worried about Aira." Winne's voice vibrated.

Aira closed her eyes. "I can't help you, too, Winne, I'm really sorry. Erigo also looks__mmm__less good" Aira said carefully.

Erigo was still driving within reasonable speed limits, but seeing from his grasp on the steering wheel Aira could tell something was bothering him.

"I'll talk to you later. Can you keep an eye on Kei for me?"

"All right." Said Winne quietly. "Yansen and Toddy are still here."

Aira nodded. "That's a relief for Anantha, thankfully. I'll actually call you back later. Bye." Aira said ending the call.

Now he can only wait until Erigo wants to talk to him.

Elsewhere, Kei sat quietly in the middle of the sea of grief, hugging his knees with his arms and burying his head there. While outside the room, Devano knocks on the door and tries to persuade her to open it.

Kei ignored the calls. It takes time to control itself to not explode.

Heart's wounded. Devano's words hurt him. He closed his eyes wishing he had never stepped there, into the room where Devano was insulting him, insulting his feelings.

He stared at his stuff. It's not much, just one small bag. He was ready to leave, went on the run to save the remains of his heart by staying away from Devano.

Sweet and bitter memories flashed in his mind. Recalling the first time he set foot as a trainee and met the handsome figure of Devano full of charisma with a friendly smile. Kei fell in love immediately.

He with his typical teenage love, adores Devano who always seems extraordinary. He tried to get close to Devano, being spoiled for her, trying to attract her attention and half-deadly struggling to get into the scope of Devano's association.

Kei tries to be 'seen' by Devano wherever they are. Achievement for achievement in achieving it only for Devano to pay attention to it.

Once upon a time he ventured to express his feelings for Devano. At that time Devano smiled very sweetly, stroked the top of his head and said that he would grow up so that Devano could ask him out on a date properly.

He foolishly believed it. He thought that one day his feelings would be reciprocated and tried desperately to be the woman Devano would ask out on a date. Until now he is an adult he still carries his feelings, carrying his hopes.

But the harsh reality hit him hard. Devano has never been interested in him since. Even Devano said that he was annoyed by Kei tailing him like a chick. That's very rude.

Kei felt annoyed, sad, desperate and embarrassed at once so that his brain was confused and could not digest his emotions, even his tears refused to come out. He could not cry, he felt dizzy and numb. He wanted to cry and let out his feelings, but he couldn't do it. His heart is numb.

Cell phone ringing stops Kei daydreaming. His manager informed him that he was already waiting in front of the villa. Kei gathered his consciousness. It is time for me to leave, he said in his heart. Kei flicked his hair back, straightened his body, with his chin raised and determination as strong as steel, he gripped his bag and held it out of the room.

It is time to go, he said in his heart.

Kei finally opened the door after nearly an hour of Devano knocking and calling. Devano almost knocked down the door if in five minutes Kei did not open it. Devano secretly observes the girl, guessing how she feels.

Devano saw Kei carrying his bag in one hand. "Where are you going Kei?" Sharp ask. "We need to talk." Said firmly.

Kei smiled calmly. At least he tried to look calm. "I want to go home Dev. And there's nothing more we need to talk about. I've heard enough of everything and I understand." He spoke with all bitterness in his words. "I'm sorry for your inconvenience all this time. I'm really insensitive. Please understand me." Her speech.

Kei stared straight at Devano with an impressive calmness. He deserves to be proud of himself.

While Devano is restless. "Key, I didn't mean to hurt you. I didn't know you were standing there and hearing everything. I deserve to be hit." Devano.

Kei looked relaxed yet behind the look in his eyes, Devano saw the pain. The glint of those eyes changed when he looked at her.

Kei laughed heartily. "That's not necessary. What you said is not wrong." Her speech. "I'm sorry, but I have to leave immediately, my manager is waiting." He said while stepping. He did not intend to linger against Devano because he did not know when his control would collapse.

"That's very wrong Kei. My words are harsh and unacceptable. Please, let me explain" Devano said, trying to stop Kei's move.

Kei firmly gripped the handle of the bag he was carrying. "Help me Dev. I'm ashamed of you enough. You just think of me as a child and I should have realized, instead of using your kindness and sticking to you. I was wrong." Vibrant speech.

Kei clenched his fingers trying to strengthen himself. "I really have to go. Thank you for the opportunity to sing with you. I pray for your success. Goodbye Dev." Say again.

Kei stepped away before Devano could ask the meaning of his words.

Kei hugs Winne and apologizes and then says goodbye to Toddy and Yansen who are still astonished.

Kei calmly sat in the car regulating his breathing. He swallowed with difficulty. He gathered control of himself and all his remaining self-esteem and left with his head held high even though his heart was torn apart.

Kei called Airez. He has made a determination. He will go and leave all his bitter memories here and forget his love for Devano forever.

Meanwhile, Devano feels bad. There was no more hospitality in Kei's familiar voice. There was no longer the cheerful smile that Kei always offered him. Devano did not even see another twinkle of admiration in Kei's eyes for him which he had only now realized. Just a flash of heartache emanated there.

Devano never thought he would be affected when Kei left him. Then that goodbye left a void in his heart.
