After the Rain

After the Rain
Star Request

A few minutes earlier.

"Enin, isn't that Dad's car?" ask the stars when the rickshaw they ride arrives in front of the fence of his house.

Ms. Salma who was counting the money for her rickshaw fare, looked up immediately. It is true, it looks like a maroon-colored sedan car that used to always be stored in his house.

"Is dad visiting here?" ask Miss Salma.

The star only shakes both of his shoulders.

"Stop, just here Bang!" said Ms. Salma stopped the rickshaw.

The rickshaw according to. He stopped his rickshaw right in front of the fence of Ms. Salma's house.

After paying the fare, Ms. Salma paid the Star to enter the house.

Arriving at the door, their steps stopped when they heard the words of Miss Maryam who was offering a deal.

Ms. Salma's heart was pounding. His breath began to hunt in anger as one humbled his daughter's self-esteem and work. Ms. Salma already wanted to hit the three women. However, he was still trying to be patient as he did not want to make a fuss in his own home.

Like the grandmother, the Star felt angry when it found itself like a toy that could be taken and fought for granted.

His head grew heavy when he heard the vile sentences his grandmother had spoken to the man who had given birth to him. The stars hated the old woman.

The respect he still maintained for his father's sake, disappeared instantly. Moreover, when he found out his father was about to marry again, Bintang was disappointed. Very disappointed.

It was heard that his mother had expelled the three women that the Star saw from behind the window. However, it seemed that the three women were reluctant to respond to her mother's stern remark. Not wanting to hear a bad word against her mother again, the Star immediately entered the living room.

"Are you deaf? Didn't you hear Mother Bibin's orders. Please get the hell out of here. Bibin doesn't need hypocrites like you. Just go! Just go! Aargh!"

The star shouted while holding his head. Everyone looked back at the little girl who was about to turn 12. They were very surprised to see the Star already standing before them.

"Baby?" daniar guman.

"My grandson's star!" exclaim Miss Maryam as she set her foot to approach the Star.

"Stop!" the stars shouted while raising their hands. "I'm not your grandson, and you better get out of here. Go!" drive the Star to Miss Maryam.

"What is this, star? Is this what your mother taught you to talk to your parents? Like it or not, she is your grandmother, the mother of your father. Understand!" Habibah.

"The baby never wants to understand anything. What Bibii wants, you leave this house now, go!" The stars shouted back to chase them away.

"Enough, Son. Enough," said Daniar, hugging his daughter.

"Please remove the brand, Mother. Bibin did not want to come with them, Bibin did not want to stay with them. Get rid of her, Bun," replied the Star, beginning to cry.

"No, Honey. Of course Bibin would not stay with them. Come on, let's go to the room. Bibin needs rest" Daniar replied, sending his daughter inside.

Ms. Salma approached her ex-made. He then said while smiling cynically.

"I thought what happened to my son and your son's loneliness could change your selfishness a little. But it turns out I was wrong. Look, Miss Maryam, don't even think that I don't know what you did to Daniar. He sacrificed his life for you. Let her live quietly with her son. But ...."

Ms. Salma paused her sentence. He tried to regulate his emotions while recalling what had happened to his eldest daughter's life. She was sure something must have happened before Daniar had a miscarriage. However, he himself never knew what kind of incident it was. It's just that, the instinct of a mother said that the incident must involve Daniar and the Yandri family. Therefore, Daniar insisted on asking to separate.

Back Miss Salma stared intently at Miss Maryam.

"However, if you disturb my children and grandchildren, don't blame me if Yandri knows the sabab of Daniar's miscarriage. Understand!"

The deg!

Miss Maryam was surprised to hear the threat of Ms. Salma. Both his eyes were round, his mouth gaping wide. Instantly, he recalled what he had done to Daniar, long ago.

Ms. Salma did not want to prolong the debate anymore. He looked back at the door that was still open as a signal for his guests to leave immediately.

"Let's go home!"

.

.

"Ish, is it possible because of that, the Star hates me?" mumble Miss Maryam.

Habibah, who heard his mother's murmur, could only look back. Looking at his mother's deathly pale face, Habibah could only take a deep breath.

Hmm, mother must feel anxious if someday, her evil will be exposed, inner Habibah.

While Siska, she just stared at the confusion looking at the expression on her mother-in-law's face that looked tense. Somehow Siska felt, if the separation of Yandri and Daniar was not separated from the interference of her future mother-in-law.

.

.

"How is he doing, Ni?" ma'am Salma asked as she entered her grandson's room.

"The body is hot, ma'am," Daniar replied, worried.

"Well, we should take the star to the doctor, Ni," advised Ms. Salma.

"Niar also thinks that way, Mom. But Bintang would not," said Daniar.

"Continue?"

"For a while, Niar's been giving her a heat-lowering drug, ma'am. If the heat does not go down as well, tomorrow morning Niar persuaded the Stars to go to the doctor," replied Daniar. "Oh yes, Mom. Are they gone?" ask Daniar.

"Here you go, Ni" replied Ms. Salma.

"Thank God, I hope they don't come back" Daniar said.

"No, Ni. I'm sure Miss Maryam will never bother you again" Ms. Salma replied.

Daniar knitted his two eyebrows. He wondered why his mother could speak so confidently.

"Hmm, don't be so sure, Mom. Yandri's mother is not the type of person who gives up easily. He was able to do anything to achieve his wish" Daniar said.

"Oh, forget about it. A mother always knows how to defend her children" concluded Bu Salma.

.

.

The night begins to come. Worried about the Bintang's condition, Daniar decides to sleep in his daughter's room.

"Bun, can we move from here?" ask the stars, suddenly.

Daniar was stunned to hear the Star's question. I don't know what's on the Star's mind right now. However, Daniar believes that the incident was very influential to his child's psychic.

"Already, Son. Don't think too much. Instead, Bibin focuses on healing first. After that, we'll talk about it" Daniar replied.

"Bibin's scared, Bun. Bibin does not want to part with Mother," continued the Star. His lips seemed to tremble as they held back his sadness.

Daniar grabbed the Star into his arms. "Whatever happens, Mother will never let anyone separate us, son. Even if it's your own father!" firmly Daniar.

"Bibin hates daddy, Bun. I promised not to marry another woman, but why did you break your promise? Bibin hates him, Bun. Bibin doesn't want to see dad anymore. We just move out of here, Bun. Please ...!" pinta Star among her sobs.

Daniar's chest felt claustrophobic at the request of the Star. He himself wondered why Yandri could make such a unilateral decision. Indeed, Daniar will not prevent him from marrying another woman. But to take a star from him? Daniar would not be able to let Yandri be so selfish.

Meanwhile, behind the door of the Star room, Ms. Salma stood sculpting. He was trying to digest the words he had just heard.

Hmm, maybe it's a good time to move out of here.
