After the Rain

After the Rain
Visit of Kamad

During the trip, Daniar can only be silent. As for Roni, she was still busy fiddling with her phone.

The car continues to go at high speed. The shrewdness of Joko in driving a vehicle is indeed no doubt.

"We're just passing through, Ron. To be quick," proposed Joko.

"Hmm, it's up to you, the important thing is to find the first restaurant, we stop first to make breakfast," replied Roni.

"Ish, where there is a restaurant on Jahim line, Ron," said Joko.

"Yes whatever, deh. Warteg is also not pa-pa, which is important we fill the stomach first" said Roni.

Joko laughed, "Hahaha, tumben Boss?" he said that feels funny when Roni says eat at warteg.

Not nothing, for the size of a Roni, cleanliness is an absolute thing. Therefore, every time he traveled with his best friend, Joko never invited Roni to eat at a rice stall or warteg.

"Gue was forced, rather than you fainting in the middle of the road, berabe undaunted," snorted Roni who was annoyed to see Joko's attitude as if he was mocking her.

"Maha .... "

Joko was not strong to see Roni's expression that scowled like a woman sulking. Finally Joko laughed out loud to see the attitude of friends since the time of his High School.

Arriving at the top of Jahim, Joko stopped the car when he saw a fairly clean chicken porridge shop. It will not be filling, but it is also enough to prop up the stomach until they find a restaurant.

"We're eating porridge, Boss," Joko asked.

Roni glanced at the tavern before descending. Hmm, quite clean is also the place, inner Roni. Shortly after, he invited his brother-in-law to come down.

"Eat the porridge first yuk, brother!" bring Roni.

"All of you, deh. Let Brother wait in the car," replied Daniar who was not eager to touch the food.

Roni sighed. "Not to worry, brother. Bang Yandri is in good hands. Roni was sure, they would not let the Yandri bang just like that. You should eat first, so that you have energy. Why, Brother wants to, once you get to the hospital, you get sick instead?" roni Goda.

"Ish, Ron .. You do'ain Brother sick?" tukas Daniar grumbled.

"It's not do'ain Kak, but it does not rule out the possibility if it will happen if you ignore your own health" replied Roni explained his intention.

Roni was right, he shouldn't be self-mortifying just because he thinks of his husband. Daniar got off the car. They walked along following Joko who had sat first in the chicken porridge shop.

"Is the patient's family not here yet, sir?" ask the nurse to Mr. Ginanjar, who is waiting for Yandri in the ER room.

"They are on their way, Sus," replied Mr. Ginanjar.

"Thank God, please inform the hospital as soon as the family arrives, because the patient needs further action" the nurse said, confirming an infusion in Yandri's hand.

" Okay, Sus," replied Mr. Ginanjar.

After the nurse died, Mr. Ginanjar again approached the Yandri gurney. He stood beside Yandri. Faithfully, Mr. Ginanjar cleansed the blood still coming out of Yandri's right temple. Anxious face was visible on the face of the old man.

"Hold, Son. I'm sure you'll be fine" he said.

Yandri's eyes were closed. However, his ears were still able to hear the noise in the ER room. Same with the words of people he doesn't know. Inwardly, Yandri was very grateful to be reunited with someone with an angelic heart like his helper.

Yandri wanted to answer the words of the helper. However, he did not seem to have the strength to speak. Let alone talking, opening his eyes felt heavy for Yandri.

O Lord .. Give the servant strength in the face of this test....

By 9 am, the car driven by Joko, arrived at the hospital yard of the Duchy. Joko accidentally drops Roni and Daniar in front of the hospital lobby. Meanwhile, he drove his car back to the parking lot.

Half-running, Roni and Daniar head to the information section to inquire about Yandri's whereabouts.

"Excuse me, Mas. I want to ask the patient of the victim of the accident earlier today. Is it in this hospital?" ask Roni.

"What's the name, sir?" answer the man in charge of the information section.

"Father of Yandri Gunawan" replied Roni.

"Just a second!"

"For now, the accident patient on behalf of Mr. Yandri is in the ER. You can complete the registration first, because the patient needs further action."

Roni looked towards her sister-in-law. "Sir Niar, Brother just go to the ER room to see the condition of the Yandri bang. Let Roni take care of the registration of the Yandri bang," said Roni.

Daniar nodded. After agreeing to share duties, Daniar finally went to the ER room to see the state of her husband, while Roni walked to the registration room to take care of Yandri's complete biodata.

Arriving at the door of the ER room, Daniar circulated his gaze to look for Yandri's whereabouts. Luckily, Yandri was treated in a gurney not far from the entrance. Instantly Daniar eyes dewy see the condition of Yandri who is without appearance. Most of Yandri's face is covered with cotton wool to the right eye. His lips looked swollen and bloody. Daniar ran over to Yandri's gurney.

"D-dad!" call lirih Daniar.

Yandri opened his eyes when he heard his wife's voice. He just stared blankly at Daniar. The thin smile he gave, blocked the swollen lips that were bleeding to the point of being invisible. Clear circles appear in both corners of his eyes.

Honestly, Daniar was unable to stem his sadness when he saw Yandri's condition. However, in order to calm the husband, Daniar must be strong and hide his tears.

Daniar tried to smile and said, "Calm down, Dad. Everything's gonna be fine. Mother is here for father."

Yandri gestured for Daniar to approach.

"To-long, hu-contact Danny U-ustadz. A-dad ti-tip kids," said Yandri gasping.

Daniar nodded. She then picked up the phone and contacted her husband. Shortly after he called, the medical team came to move Yandri.

"Where will my husband go, Sus?" ask Daniar, astonished.

"We're going to take her to the radiology room for further examination, ma'am" one of the nurses replied.

"alright. Can I come with you?" ask Daniar again.

"Please."

The two nurses pushed Yandri's gurney toward the radiology room. Daniar followed him from behind.

"Niar!"

Andiar looked when someone called him. "Om Acep" he murmured.

Acep approached Daniar with one of the middle-aged men.

"How is Yandri doing?" tanya Acep who is none other than uncle Daniar.

"Kang Yandri is being taken to the radiology room, Om," Daniar replied.

"Oh yes, Niar. This is the head of the madrassa where Yandri teaches. His name was Ustadz Bukhori" Acep continued.

Daniar clenched his palms together as a sign of greeting to the husband's superior.

"I am very sorry for the accident that happened to Ustadz Yandri, Mom," said Ustadz Bukhori.

"Thank you, Ustadz," Daniar replied.

"We'd better talk in the radiology room waiting chair, Ni. While waiting for Yandri too," Acep suggested.

"Yes, let's Om, Ustadz!" answer Daniar.

Daniar, Acep and the head of the madrassa walked hand in hand towards the radiology room. Arriving there, they sat in waiting chairs talking about the Yandri accident.

"Honestly, Ustadz .. I myself do not know how the chronology of the accident that hit Kang Yandri. Until now, I have not met anyone who helped Kang Yandri" Daniar replied.

"Hmm, in spite of all that, I hope that no serious condition has happened to Ustadz Yandri. May Ustadz Yandri be given patience and fortitude in undergoing this test. And may you also be healthy, ridho and always strong in caring for Ustadz Yandri," said Ustadz Bukhori.

"Aamiin's." Daniar can't say anything more than aamiin.

"Oh yes, Mom. Sorry, I can not linger, because there are still many activities at school that I have to complete. This, just to add to the cost of Ustadz Yandri treatment. Please accept even if only alakadarnya," continued Ustadz Bukhori while handing a long white envelope.

Daniar looked at his uncle. Seen a nod from the uncle. Daniar received the envelope.

"Thank you, Ustadz. May the kindness of Ustadz be reciprocated with multiple rewards" said Daniar.

"Aamiin" replied Acep and Ustadz Bukhori.

"Niar, Om go first, yeah. Later if Om is on leave, Om look at Yandri at home. You're patient, yes," Acep said as he patted Daniar's shoulder gently to give strength.

"Yes, Om," said Daniar.

Daniar let out a sigh as he watched the two backs wrapped in suits disappear behind the radiology hall corridor door. She was so grateful that her husband had such a caring boss. The visit of the head of the madrassa who had provided assistance both morally and materially, had proved that they were so attentive to his men.

"Thank you God ...."
