"Let's go, close your eyes" said Danita softly when she saw the Star still open both eyes.
"Bibin can't sleep, Bi," replied the Star, still faithfully staring blankly at the ceiling of his room.
"It's been too late, honey. It is not good for a child to sleep late at night. Anyway, tomorrow you have to go to school. What if you get sleepy at school tomorrow. You can be rebuked by the teacher, tuh," said Danita, smiling.
"Auntie, is Bibin allowed tomorrow not to go to school?" asked the Star, looking at Danita who was asleep next to him.
"Why would Bibin want permission? Bibin doesn't hurt, does it?" Danita asked back.
The star shook its head. "Bibin is not sick, but Bibin wants to go to the hospital. Bibin will take care of mother," he said.
Danita rubbed her niece's hair. Honestly, Danita felt sorry to see the change in attitude of the stars who became quiet. Danita realized, the child must have been feeling a considerable trauma when he had to witness the incident that caused his mother to enter the hospital.
"Bin, can you ask me something?" said Danita.
The star turned, its forehead slightly wrinkled to hear Danita's words.
"Ask what, Bi?" sahut Star.
"Actually, what happened to you, son? Why did you lose your sister?" ask Danita as gently as possible.
To be honest, Danita still harbors a very curious sense of the tragedy that befell her brother. She hoped the stars would open up a little and tell her the chronology she saw so her mother could bleed profusely.
The star stared at his aunt. His mind drifted back to the events after his mother was encouraged by his grandmother.
The mother and son were in a hurry to get to the parking lot. Daniar's face was getting pale. Sweat also splashed around the forehead and the two temples. Repeatedly Daniar bent over to endure the growing pain.
Suddenly, Daniar crouched down as he felt something coming out of his faraz burrow.
Syerr....
Fresh blood flowed through the lacy triangle until it penetrated its white robe.
"Bun, Mother is bleeding" cried the star who was so surprised to see the blood stains on her mother's clothes.
Sontak Daniar glanced at the Star-designated clothing section. Fresh blood stains were clearly visible there. In fact, the longer it looks wet.
"May ...."
Daniar moaned, feeling his belly getting coiled up. He looked at the Star with a gaze that began to twitch. With a sigh, Daniar said to his daughter.
"Please promise Mommy, son. If you're never gonna tell me what you saw back at Aji's wak house."
"But, Bun.." the star shook his head.
"Mother please," pinta Daniar, shrewdly.
"No, Bun. Bibin must tell father that grandmother pushed Mother to fall. Let me give you my grandmother's advice" said Bintang, as the footage of her pushing her still appears vivid in the memory of Bintang.
"Don't darling, Mother please .. don't file the incident with anyone. Especially your father. Mother does not want your father to be an ungodly child. Bibin knows, 'Where is the place where the child is disobedient if he dies?" sahut Daniar with intermittent breath.
The star nodded its head. "Hell, Bun," replied the Star, shrieking.
"Bibin wants to, you're occupying him?" ask Daniar again.
As fast as lightning, the Star shook its head.
"Bibin promised, Bibin will not tell the story of the incident to anyone, Bun," said Bintang.
"Smart child, now .. to-long help Mother stand," pinta Daniar.
Syeerr...
Fresh blood, more and more out. Daniar didn't have much time to think and endure the pain. In a hurry, he returned to his feet even though his body was getting weaker.
Until arriving at a stall, Daniar collapsed and tried to crawl so that he could sit on the front bench of the stall that was closing.
"To-long call Tata!"
"Bin!"
Danita's call suddenly disperse the Star's daydream about the incident this morning at Aji's wak house.
"Kok daydreaming? Does Bibin know about what happened to your mother?" Danita is still repeating the same question.
"Sorry, Auntie. Bibin sleepy, Bibin wants to sleep," said Bintang while confirming his sleeping position.
Danita could only take a deep breath when she saw the attitude of the Star. He was more and more convinced that something was being covered by his nephew.
.
.
After a short conversation with her sister-in-law, Yandri finally entered the ICU room. Incidentally, Daniar was treated in the first room, until as soon as Yandri opened the door, he saw his mother-in-law rubbing the tops of his wife's heads.
"Assalamu'alaikum, Ma!" greet Yandri as soon as he arrived beside Ms. Salma.
Ms. Salma looked up. His eyes re-glazed as soon as he saw his daughter-in-law standing at the side. He then moved up and immediately hugged Yandri.
"Da-niar, Yan ... Da-da-niar .. hiks .. hiks."
Ms. Salma was unable to continue her words. Her chest feels tight. It was as if it had been squeezed into a huge mountain rock. Only her daughter's name was able to be spoken evenly among her sobs.
"Yes, Mom. Yandri knows .. be patient," said Yandri.
"I-mom couldn't, Yan. Ni-niar be-that's happy with her pregnancy. Su-alah la-ma .. hiks .. di-he looks forward to the presence of a-nak second ka-lian. Ta-but ... hu .. hu .. but apparently, Tu-god is more against your child .. thus, Tu-god took it back, huhuhuhu. Poor Niar, Yan. Poor ...."
Ms. Salma was still stirring on the sidelines of her cries. His heart was broken to see Daniar's hope dashed after losing his son.
"A-what did we say pa-da Niar, Yan? In-he will certainly be very hit after knowing that she had a miscarriage," continued Ms. Salma.
"Sst, it's Ma'am. Later we think about how to tell this calamity to Niar. Hopefully Daniar can accept it. After all, a miscarriage doesn't mean Daniar won't have any more children. God willing, God will surely soon replace what has been lost" replied Yandri.
Sobs of Bu Salma increasingly became to hear Yandri's answer. His heart was as if slashed by a sharp-edged knife. Bidithy! It feels so painful.
"But, he ... huhuhu ... Da-da-niar can't have any more children, Yan. His abraham su-dah was lifted up," replied Ms. Salma increasingly bitter.
The deg!
Yandri was so surprised to hear Miss Salma's statement. He did not expect that his wife would suffer such a calamity. So, what really happened? Why is this so good for his wife's test? yandri.
Both of Yandri's knees shook violently. His body is starting to collapse. Quickly, he held the back of the chair beside him. Suddenly ....
"No! A lie! It's all a lie! My son is fine! Son's healthy! A lie! Everybody's lying!"
The screams of a woman sounded so loud between the seams of the night atmosphere in the ICU room. Ms. Salma and Yandri turned their eyes towards the bed. Daniar was screaming hysterically when he realized he was missing his future son.
Unable to accept the reality, Daniar finally spilled all his pain through shouting.
