After the Rain

After the Rain
The anger of Miss Maryam

After speaking at length with the principal, Yandri was finally allowed to work again. When he got the certainty, Yandri finally told Daniar to go home.

"Dad be careful with the work, huh? Remember, don't get too suspended, either. If you feel dizzy, you should immediately rest. In order not to be fatal to Dad's health," Daniar said at length.

"Yes, Bun. Mommy's fine too, right there. Take care of your health too. Remember, before leaving for work, get used to breakfast first. Health must be maintained, Bun," said Yandri no less at length also advising the wife.

Daniar smile. Because the time was getting late, and the journey was still very far away, Daniar immediately said goodbye to her husband.

"Roni go home first, Bang. If there's anything, just call Roni," said Roni.

"For sure," Yandri replied with a smile.

Aji breathed quite heavily. His eyes looked at the wife who had just fallen asleep. The night is getting late. However, for some reason Khodijah looked uneasy. Until finally, at exactly 12 pm, Khodijah was only able to close his eyes.

Aji wiped the clear rounders on both corners of her eyes. Tired up! Tired really hurt him. Morally or materially tired. Various alternative treatments have been visited for the recovery of the wife. But even so far, there has been no change. The condition of Khodijah is getting longer and even more dropped. Aji was confused as to what to do.

Next day. Aji went to the sister's house. His aim was to ask for help to convey the news of Khodijah to his mother-in-law and also to the Khodijah brothers. Aji did not want Khodijah to feel disappointed and unnoticed by his extended family. Aji also does not want him to be blamed if something bad happens to his wife.

Arriving at the brother's house, Aji immediately looks for his nephew. After meeting, he then asked Haidar to inform him of Khodijah's current condition.

"But Haidar does not have his family number bi Sejah, Om," said Haidar.

"It's okay, Dar. You tell Agus only. Let om Agus will deliver it to aunt Khodijah's brother" said Aji.

Haidar nodded. He started typing messages for Agus.

At the boarding school, Yandri began to move back. After performing the morning prayers, as usual he checked the room of his students one by one. Yandri did just that to make sure that the students he had built in the dorm, had been performing dawn prayers, taking a shower and immediately getting ready to go to the dining room for breakfast.

Just as he was about to return to his room, a sudden feeling of dizziness returned to his head. Yandri stopped his steps. For a moment he leaned his back against the wall of the room. Trying to rest for a moment to expel the dizziness.

At 7 o'clock, the doorbell rang. Yandri was getting ready to enter the class. When he was about to stand up, again a dizzy feeling attacked him. Yandri immediately looked for a grip so as not to fall. For a moment, he closed his eyes.

O Lord .. please give the servant of health as ever, inner Yandri. Without him noticing, someone was observing Yandri's movements.

Slowly, Yandri stepped back into the 8th grade. Although he was a little breathless, he continued walking up the stairs. Yandri arrived in class 15 minutes after the first hour.

The students were astonished to see the delay of his teacher. Just this time, he saw the most disciplined Ustadz of the time, late for class. The sense of wonder was clearly displayed on the faces of the students.

"Assalamu'alaikum, kids!" yandri SAPA.

"Goddessalam, Ustadz!" answer the students.

"I'm sorry, you're late" Yandri continued shortly after he kept his book on the teacher's desk.

"Yes, Tadz. It's okay" replied the student.

"Alright, we just start the material for today," Yandri said as he sat in his chair and began to open the textbook.

After getting word of her second daughter who was sick, Miss Maryam asked her husband for permission to visit.

"Are you going to stay at Khodijah's house for a long time?" ask Mr. Ahmad.

"Come, Sir. Perhaps after the state of Khodijah improved," replied Miss Maryam.

Actually, Mr. Ahmad objected to his wife leaving when he was sick. However, she understood a mother's anxiety about her sick daughter. Therefore, Mr. Ahmad was forced to allow Ms. Maryam to leave.

"When's the plan you're going, ma'am?" ask Ahmad again.

"Alright, I'll let you go. Please come back quickly if the state of your son is lightened," said Mr. Ahmad with a heavy heart.

Maryam smiled. "Yes, Sir. Don't worry, once Khodijah gets better, I'll be home soon" she said, wiping her husband's back.

Next day. Early in the morning Bahar had picked up his mother-in-law at the house of Mr. Ahmad. After saying goodbye, Miss Maryam started riding Bahar motorbike.

"Come, Sir! We go first" said Bahar, nodding his head to his father-in-law.

"Yes, be careful on the road, Har. Don't speed!" message Pak Ahmad shortly before Bahar starts his motorbike.

"Good, Sir!" answer Bahar. A second later, Bahar launched his motorbike.

After an hour of traveling, finally Miss Maryam and Bahar arrived at Khodijah's house.

"Assalamu'alaikum!" greet Miss Maryam.

No answer from inside the house.

"Dadji! Colored! Are you guys inside? It's Mom, son. Please open the door, I'm so tired" cried Maryam, who thought her son was in the room and her daughter-in-law was working in a separate room.

However, again only the silence he felt from inside the house. Miss Maryam finally asked Bahar to check the back of Aji's house.

"Please look at the back door, Har. Who knows it's not locked" Ms Maryam told her daughter-in-law.

"Okay, ma'am," replied Bahar. A second later, Bahar went to check the back door.

"Kang! Assalamu'alaikum ... Aji Kang!" call Bahar as soon as he arrives at the back door.

However, Bahar did not hear the speech from inside the house. Bahar tried to press the doorknob and pushed it slightly. And sure enough, the back door of the house is not locked at all. Bahar shut it down again and immediately went ahead to meet her mother-in-law.

"The back door is completely unlocked, ma'am. Do you want to go inside?" ask Bahar.

"Yes, we go in, Har," said Maryam as she moved from the front bench.

Bahar and Miss Maryam walked side by side towards the back door. Arriving there, Miss Maryam immediately opened the door. He then entered Aji's house through the back door.

"Oh my God .. Where did the child go? Already knew his wife was sick, still left behind," grumbled Miss Maryam as she continued to walk towards the living room.

"Astaghfirullah!" peekik Miss Maryam.

Hearing someone's scream, Khodijah, who was lying down, immediately turned his head. "I-mom" he said softly.

As for Miss Maryam, she could only be transfixed to see her son lying helplessly on the bed in the living room. Maryam's mother approached her son immediately. However, for a moment he stopped when he smelled an unpleasant smell from the mattress that already looked shabby.

"What'sthis? Did you poop?" asked Maryam, went back to her son.

Khodijah did not answer. He could only look at his mother with a very longing radiance. While Miss Maryam, heartbroken to see the condition of the princess, Miss Maryam walked to the kitchen to bring water and washcloth. Shortly thereafter, the 60-year-old woman returned to the living room.

Slowly, Miss Maryam began to clean up Khodijah's feces that began to drift everywhere. His heart was so painful to see the condition of his son.

"Oh my God ... What happened to you Colored?" mumble Miss Maryam.

When Miss Maryam was wiping her son's ass, Aji went into the living room.

"Y-mother?" said Aji, quite surprised to see his mother-in-law was already at home.

Maryam's mother looked over. His eyes stared intently at the daughter-in-law who had just returned from nowhere. The emotions that were mounting on his chest, were now growing more and more. He was really angry at Aji who could leave his wife alone at home in such a condition.

"What the fuck is this Aji? You left Khadija alone at home, but you knew she was helpless. Once you abandoned your sick wife. If you don't want to take care of her anymore, leave it to Mom. Let me take care of Dijah until he recovers. Huh, it is fitting that Khodijah did not heal, it turns out that her husband was never able to take care of her. Astaghfirullah, have thee Aji!"

Miss Maryam vented her emotions to her daughter-in-law. She was angry, very angry when she found her son abandoned in her own husband's house.

"Sorry, Mom. It seems like I misunderstood. Aji didn't leave Kho–"

"Allah, want to fuck up especially?! The proof is clear, if you leave your wife alone at home. Now, pack your wife's clothes. Let me take her home!" shouted Miss Maryam.

It seems like Miss Maryam's anger has reached its peak. He then ordered the son-in-law to clean his son's clothes.
