A Stupidity

Episode 49's

"Just like you're apologizing to me! Do you think I raised my son this isn't a struggle?" maki daddy. Roni bowed, I bowed too. I really feel guilty for Roni.

"Now after throwing dirt on my face by making a disgrace to our family, you easily apologize!" continued mr.

"What do you think our family is?!" exclaim father angry. The voice of the father sounded so loud that it was deafening.

"You think your apologies can bring back the future of my son that you destroyed?" added father.

"Let me atone for my sins and mistakes, sir." pinta Roni.

"No! I won't let you marry my daughter!" exclaim father. Me, Mama, and Tilla were shocked to hear my father's rejection.

"Mr.." said mama slowly. He rubbed his back several times to calm his father.

"My son is my pride! Now you, the disgrace bearer would take my son for granted?" said father. I couldn't hold back my tears anymore and finally my tears broke. You don't know if in fact his son is the bearer of disgrace for the family of this good man. I don't deserve to be your pride! Forgive Amel, sir!

"Father.." call me in a soft voice.

"If you won't let Roni marry me, what about this boy, sir?" I said on the sidelines of my crying. He looked at me, looking at me with disappointment.

He sat in his chair, his tears rolling down his cheeks. I sat down before my father and put my head in his lap.

"I'm sorry Amel, sir." I said slowly.

"Amel brought misfortune to this family." I continued.

"Let Amel and Roni fix everything, sir." I asked. He was still silent, but his tears kept flowing.

"I promise I will always try to make Amel happy, sir! Please let me make amends for this mistake!" roni Pinta.

"I'm home." I said after I finished putting Roni's things in the hotel.

"I'd like to talk to you for a minute" Roni said. My heart was pounding when I heard that. What's he gonna talk to me about? Is he mad at me?

I sat on the sofa in the hotel room and Roni sat next to me. For a moment he just bowed and then he turned his body slightly to face me and looked at me with a gentle gaze. He looks very handsome tonight. My eyes turned to his cheeks, faintly still seen the former slap of the father earlier.

My hand moved spontaneously touching her cheek. Roni was surprised by the touch of my hand and I realized, I pulled my hand but quickly Roni's hand caught mine. His face looks very serious. Was he angry because I touched him?

My heart was pounding so hard that it made my chest feel tight. Roni slowly put my hand back on her cheek and closed her eyes as if to show that she was enjoying the touch. Oh, my God, my heart is about to explode!
