A Stupidity

Episode 38's

Me, Roni, and all the members of the Roni family gathered together at the dinner table to enjoy our breakfast. I still feel a little awkward being among them.

"Amel!" call Roni's mother gently when I'm helping Ani mbak clean up the cutlery we used earlier.

"Yes aunty?" sahutku.

"Mama wants to talk to Amel!" say mama.

"Yes, auntie!" I followed Roni's mother who was walking towards her room.

I was really amazed to see Roni's parents' room, the room looked very luxurious and spacious, even the extent was almost equivalent to half the area of my house.

"Amel sit down!" said aunt Lina. I followed the graceful woman's words by sitting on the soft sofa in the room, while Aunt Lina seemed to be looking for something inside her enormous wardrobe.

Soon Roni's mother approached me with a small crimson box and sat down beside me.

"What kind of wedding do you want?" suddenly tanyanya. I flinched, I never thought about my wedding party.

"You must have a picture of your wedding, right?" ask aunt Lina again. I was silent for a moment.

"I never thought about it, auntie." I replied slowly. Aunt Lina looked surprised.

"Call me, Amel!" said it.

"Amel is now a son of mom and dad." he explained.

"Yes aunty ee. ma!" my spoken.

"Amel doesn't have a dream wedding?" Mama repeated her question. I shook my head slowly.

"I've never thought about it ma, I'm so grateful Roni would take responsibility for my pregnancy" I said. Mama stroked my head gently, her eyes looking teary.

"I'm sorry that bad mama's boy is Amel!" say mama. His voice sounded vibrating.

"Roni was a good boy, he always worked hard for all his dreams and always meant his life, so mom really didn't expect that he could do such a bad thing to Amel." Mom started to shed her tears. I rubbed my arms gently to calm her down. My hands were shaking, I really could not bear to see them like this. My chest feels more and more claustrophobic.

"Mama's sorry for Roni's bad deed!" say mama. The crying broke too. Mama hugged me tight. What am I supposed to do now? Do I have to confess all my actions? I really can't bear to see this excellent family become like this! I can't bear to see Roni continue to be blamed for bad deeds that are not actually his fault.

As much as I could, I held back my tears from flowing. I rubbed my back gently and tried to make her calmer. Mama let go of her hug and looked at both of my eyes closely.

"Even though he made that big mistake, I'm sure that Roni will be a good husband to Amel, because Roni is a good man!" revealed mama. I nodded slowly. I agree with my mother's statement, I am sure Roni will be a good husband and a good father for this child.

"Amel will you forgive Roni?" ask mama.

"Amel would love Roni with all his heart?" ask mama again. I nodded my head.
