At 3 p.m., the meeting was dissolved after reaching an agreement between the two sides. The middle-aged woman named Elena was still sitting in her chair after ordering her company's assistants and staff to leave the room first.
"Sorry Mom, the meeting is over. You can leave this room, I'll get out of here." exclaimed Beno politely, however he was talking to the parents. Beno should respect him.
"Just a second!" hold Elena who made Beno frown.
What's with the old man? Beno did not understand at all because he had only met the woman for the first time. The Golden Star Company included a new company in the city. It's just that the company is growing quite rapidly.
"Sit down! I want to talk to you a little privately." Elena said with a mysterious look.
Out of curiosity, Beno finally chose to sit down. He wanted to know what the woman really wanted to talk about.
"I need your help. You're Bram's foster son, right? The child that was picked up from the orphanage," Elena added.
Again Beno frowned. What exactly does that woman mean? How does he know about Beno's past? Bram's grandfather had never revealed this reality to anyone else, only the Bramasta family lawyer knew about this.
"Tell me what I want to talk about! I don't have much time" Beno replied.
"A lot of pride in your style. Remember, you're just a lackey in this company. Don't act like a big boss!" reproach Elena with a cynical smile that made Beno stroke her chest. What does it mean to talk like that?
"Mother is right, I'm a lackey here. What's the problem with Mom? Is my position disturbing the peace of Mother's life? We didn't even know each other before." Beno replied acknowledging his position. He had never considered himself the boss, all this time he had only done his responsibilities at the request of the grandfather.
"It seems like there's nothing more to talk about, I'm sorry." Beno chose to get up from his seat and leave the woman just like that.
"Basically the child does not know in profit!" aspat Elena shouted at Beno who had arrived at the doorway.
Beno clenched his hands tightly. If only he faced not an old woman, maybe he had beaten the mouth that did not know the manners. Beno could only stroke his chest and continue his steps towards the elevator.
In the room, Beno threw his body on the sofa. What dreams did he have last night so that he could meet a woman who did not know himself. It has made his makeup hurt, his mouth is also sharp like a kitchen knife. Laughing but Beno is afraid of sin.
At the same time, Yuna came to Elkan's study with a cup of coffee in her hand. Apparently Elkan is still focused on the laptop screen that is still on. He was not even aware of the arrival of Yuna who was already standing in front of his desk.
"He'emmm.., uh...,"
Elkan was aghast when he heard the sound of his wife's silence that was quite loud.
"Honey, just ngagetin ya." complained Elkan while folding his laptop.
Yuna knitted her brows. "Why is the laptop closed? Afraid of being discovered?"
Yuna put the coffee she brought on the table, then turned around leaving Elkan's study room just like that.
"Honey, where are you going? Here first!" exclaim Elkan.
"Gak ah, afraid of being disturbed." Yuna replied without turning her head.
Yuna swung her steps towards the twins room. His feeling was a little agitated at the thought of Elkan's strange gurgle earlier. What is Elkan doing in front of his laptop screen? Even if it's working, why should it be closed when Yuna comes?
Yuna may still be traumatized by the events of that time, however she once caught her husband hugging another woman. Was her husband texting someone? I don't know, only Elkan and God know.
"Reni, you take a break! Let me take care of the twins" Yuna said after arriving at her baby's second room.
"No Papa ma'am, let me. I'd better take a break, I look tired" replied Reni.
Yuna smiled bitterly. "I can rest in this room, go! You also have to rest, besides they're in sleep so there's no need to be taken care of."
"Well Mom, later if you need anything call me yes." Reni leaves the twins room and goes into her room. He was tired, but he was tired.
Reni's mind branched out somewhere. His body was in that house, while his mind was in his little house. What are the circumstances of his two sisters who are now unable to go to school? Have they eaten? Money from where?
After walking for about five minutes, Beno finally reached the small courtyard of the house he came to yesterday. Beno knocked on the door, five seconds later Sari appeared from behind the door.
"Father, uh Brother." muttered Sari.
The door was wide open, Sari invited Beno in. After opening his shoes, Beno entered the house and sat at the bottom of the floor which was only a mat.
"Sister, what's going on here?" ask Sari.
"Which happened to pass by, which Amit?" beno replied lying, even though he deliberately turned the car's driver just to see the state of the two teenagers.
"Sister Amit to the stall, Brother wants a drink?" tawar Sari's.
"No, brother not long. Oh yeah, can you take a ride to the bathroom?" asked Beno who suddenly peed kebelet.
"Please Brother, the bathroom is in the kitchen." Sari pointed at the kitchen door.
Beno nodded slowly, immediately he stood up and walked towards the back. How surprised Beno was when he went into the bathroom. The sitting closet is not worth using, the floor is destroyed and there is a part of the wall that is broken and only covered with cloth. Not to mention Beno had to draw water before doing the ritual.
"Geez, don't they get tired of drawing water all the time?" Beno sighed heavily and rubbed his face many times.
After throwing away what he should have thrown away, Beno returned to the front. Just reaching the door, there was the sound of Sari talking to Amit. Beno held back his steps, curious about what they were talking about.
"No more stalls that want to give us debt, a long debt that has not been paid" said Amit to his sister.
"How do you tell Dong Kak? I'm so hungry, I can't ask Reni. Earlier this morning Kak Reni said there was no money." whinek Sari while holding his stomach.
"Deg!"
Beno stroked his chest which suddenly felt tight. Heartbreaking for their fate, it felt like Beno wanted to cry but could not let out his tears.
Beno tried to adjust the breath and inhale as much air, then continue his steps that had been delayed.
"Amit, are you home?" greet Beno casually.
Amit knitted his brows. "Sister here?"
"Yes, it just happened to pass by. Sari said you went to the stall, bought what?" ask Beno fishing.
"Oh, not Brother. It was from a friend's place" Amit replied lying, he couldn't possibly tell the truth.
"Hm... I think from the stall, because my stomach is hungry. Is there a rice shop?" ask Beno again.
"There is Kak in front, just keep turning left." said Amit.
"Company Brother Dong, masa' Sister eat alone." take Beno.
"We ate that, brother," lied Amit.
"Oh, my sister's maag seems to have relapsed. Don't know where it is anymore" whispered Beno as he held his stomach.
"Do you have stomach disease? Yes, come on Amit!"
"Let's come, too, come on!" bring Beno.
Pitying to see Beno in pain, Amit and Sari finally join Beno. Though all of this is just Beno's wits so that the two teenagers want to come with him.
Seriate...
