A Soul On Paper

A Soul On Paper
J.D.A.K CHAPTER 63.

An hour had passed, Doctor Cindy walked out of Yuna's room with a small smile. Surely it makes Elkan confused and wondering, what is wrong with the doctor? It is not usual for the doctor's smile to be seen after this.

Immediately Elkan stood up and approached Doctor Cindy. "How's my wife doing, Doc? Is Yuna okay?" review Elkan with consecutive questions.

Back Doctor Cindy smiled showing her very neat rows of teeth. "Come in! You'll find the answer later."

As if he was filling TTS, Elkan was increasingly confused by a shrunken forehead looking for answers. Why should you give a statement like this? Precisely this makes Elkan's heart beat as fast as the rollercoaster is speeding.

"I'll excuse you!" Doctor Cindy passed by leaving Elkan still glued to where he stood.

Elkan knitted his brows. "So, what's wrong with him?" muttered Elkan who still did not understand the direction of the doctor's conversation.

Not wanting to wait anymore, Elkan quickly swung his steps. Is the answer he's looking for really in there?

"Excuse me Sus, how's my wife doing?" elkan asked as he walked over to Yuna's bed.

"Deg!"

Not even the nurse replied, Elkan's eyes were wide with his mouth slightly gaping. Instantly his eyes glazed over his wife's face.

"Darling...,"

Heavy rain fell on Elkan's face without stopping. Never mind to scream, saying a word just feels so difficult. Only that cry was the picture of how Elkan was feeling right now. Destroyed, devastated, sad, happy, haru, all melted into one.

"Huu... Hiks.." sobs Elkan broke while laying his head on Yuna's chest, hugging her tightly as if he did not want to take off again.

Truly the miracle is true, Elkan himself who is now feeling it. Women who slept for months can now open their eyes again.

"I'll excuse you, sir!" exclaimed the nurse as she stepped towards the door, she was not strong at seeing the sight.

Elkan let go of his embrace, turning to touch Yuna's cheek with a face that was still flooded with tears. As tight as it was, Elkan even hit his own face to make sure that this was not a dream.

Sick, of course sick because this is not a dream like Elkan's prejudice. This is real and this is the greatest miracle of his life.

"Darling, Yuna look at me, right? Yuna can hear me, right?" lirih Elkan, then put his lips on Yuna's cheek.

Yuna couldn't help but shed tears when she saw and heard Elkan's moans. There was such a deep longing in his heart, it felt like he had not seen the face of the man he loved so much.

Slowly, Yuna's fingers began to move, and her hands immediately raised and fell on Elkan's cheeks.

"Deg!"

Again Elkan was made to fight with his heartbeat that beat irregularly, a sense of pain was stuck to the heart. If this is just a dream, then let Elkan sleep for good so that this dream does not go away from him.

Immediately Elkan rubbed his face violently, then clasped Yuna's hand tightly and kissed her nonstop.

"I miss you baby, I'm glad you're back. Don't go again, please! I can't live without you." said Elkan as he stared fixedly at Yuna's face full of longing.

Yuna again did not say, only tears can describe how she felt at this time. Elkan chose to lie down and hugged Yuna tightly.

Elkan who had been asleep, immediately woke up when he heard the voice of the nurse who was loud enough to touch his eardrum.

"I'm sorry if I interrupt, I want to change the infusion of the patient." exclaimed the nurse.

"Oh yeah, please!" Elkan got up from his bed and went into the bathroom to wash his face.

Ten minutes passed, Elkan came out and rounded his eyes perfectly when he found Yuna's body had switched to a half-sitting position.

"Sus, why is my wife sitting? Is this harmless?" ask Elkan with a shriveled forehead.

"No sir, your wife asked for it. Maybe his back hurt from lying down for too long." explained the nurse.

"I mean Sister? Did my own wife ask for it directly?" Elkan again frowned as if in disbelief.

"Yes, if you'll excuse me!"

After the nurse disappeared, Elkan immediately sat down beside Yuna and stared intimately at her.

"Can you talk? Why not answer when I ask? You still mad at me?" read Elkan with various questions.

Yuna did not reply, she threw her gaze in the other direction. It certainly made Elkan sad, as if the hatred was still flowing profusely in his wife's blood.

"Yuna, I'm sorry, baby. I know I was wrong, I've been hiding that reality from you." Elkan rubbed his face many times, then sighed heavily.

"I have nothing to do with that woman. What you saw at that time was not what you imagined. She hugged me after I told her about our relationship with her. I don't want him to wish me any more, that hug is just a farewell greeting. I chose you because I really love you, she's just the past but you're my life and my future" Elkan assured Yuna.

Believing in disbelief, Yuna's heart still hurt considering the incident. He had already given everything to Elkan, even his soul and body. He had also devoted himself as a wife and tried to do his best, but instead his heart was destroyed in the blink of an eye.

Yuna could only cry reminiscing about all that. He felt like a third person with no self-respect. Why does love grow if it ends up being hurt this deep?

"Darling...,"

"I want to go home to Daddy, give me back to Daddy!" isak Yuna shed tears.

"Deg!"

Elkan held onto his chest that seemed to want to explode, hot, pained, as if struck by a thousand swords. Is this the punishment he should accept? Does Yuna not want to be with him anymore?

"Dear, don't talk like that! We're going home, but to our house!" persuade Elkan while rubbing Yuna's head gently.

Yuna shook her head repeatedly, her pain still felt to the deepest recesses of the heart. How could he survive with a man who had already divided his heart for another woman? Although Elkan had already explained, Yuna couldn't possibly believe it just like that.

"You don't love me, but you still love her. I know that, I heard it myself when you called his name. You say his name in your sleep, then who am I? Am I just running away for you? Why Elkan? Why are you so hurtful to me? What's my fault with you?" isak Yuna released all the burdens in her heart.

Elkan lowered his gaze. It was as big as the wound he had inflicted on Yuna's heart until she herself was unaware of it all. Elkan could not even remember when he mentioned the woman's name.

Seriate...
