J.D.A.K CHAPTER 131.

At five o'clock in the afternoon the plane that Reynold was boarding landed in the city of Purwokerto. The town where Laura's train was on was in an accident.

Based on the last information Reynolds got, Laura's body has been found and is now getting treatment in the hospital. Reynold called a taxi and asked the driver to drive him to the hospital.

In a room, Laura's frail body was stretched weakly helpless. He's human, but his vision is still barren. His entire body was crumbling because it was crushed among the wreckage of the destroyed train, even next to his feet was very difficult to move.

"Mom is conscious? Thank goodness I survived the accident." said one nurse, then replaced Laura's finished infusion.

"Why did you save me? I should have let me die, I have no reason to live anymore." - Laura, teary-eyed.

Wouldn't it be nice if he died in the accident, after all no one would cry over his departure. He was just a kara and had no one else in the world. His life had also been ruined with no rest, no more hope of happiness.

"So sure ma'am, you can't talk like that. I should be grateful that I am still given the opportunity to live." explained the sister.

"There is nothing to be grateful for, death is the best way to be free from this suffering. My life is ruined, no one wants someone like me. Not even the slightest affection, they all left me. I was alone, I had nowhere to lean." so Laura cried.

"Mom, sometimes life is not in line with what we expect. You have to be strong, don't give up. Reassure your heart that someday there will be happiness approaching." said the nurse.

Laura lifted the corner of her lips and rubbed her face gently. Although the sister's remark would not be possible to happen to her, it was at least able to make her heart calm for a moment.

After the nurse left, Laura closed her eyes. Within a few minutes, he woke up again as the door of his room shifted. His footsteps made him look at the door.

It was unexpected that Laura was suddenly stunned when she caught the whereabouts of a man she was very familiar with, even making her comfortable in these past two days. Laura's tears fell again, as well as the man who was looking at her.

"Hiks..." Laura's sobs sounded so soft that they made Reynold feel full.

Reynold ran up to her and put his head on Laura's chest, then hugged her tightly.

"Hiks..." Again Laura could only sob without being able to speak.

"Don't cry anymore, Mas's here." withered Reynold as he lifted his head, then wiped Laura's cheek with his fingers.

"Why are you here? Why look for me? I don't want to burden Mas anymore, go!" isak Laura hiccupped, then turned her face the other way.

"Sstt... Don't talk like that! I'm sorry, I'm wrong." said Reynold, full of regrets.

"No, I was wrong. I should know myself, I'm nobody. I also have no right to consider anyone in my life. Our marriage is wrong, go! Leave me alone!" pinta Laura pleaded.

"No dear, I will never leave you alone. You are Mas's wife, I love you. Please excuse me, I was emotional. Why don't you just get angry? You can also hit it if you don't like it. Why should I go?" ask Reynold.

"I have no right to it, I realize where I am. Go, I deserve to be happy. I can't be with Mas anymore, let me choose my own path!" Laura pushed Reynold's chest, she tried to get up but one leg simply could not be moved.

"Aahhhh.." - Laura groaned with extreme pain.

Reynold was stunned to hear his wife's groaning. "Darling, what's wrong with you?"

He didn't want Reynolds to know how he was doing. He did not want to burden the man anymore.

"I'm fine," After saying that, Laura forced herself to smile.

Why would Reynold come at a time like this? Laura did not want to be pitied, she did not want to be a burden to others. If only he could run, he would run as fast as he could so that Reynold could no longer find him.

How could he possibly be with Reynolds in this state? The situation is no longer the same, he is not even able to support his own body. How could she be a wife to such a perfect man like Reynold? Obviously he'll just be troublesome.

"Sorry, I'm going to sleep a little. Just go!" After saying that, Laura immediately closed her eyes. Hopefully, after waking up, Reynold will no longer be around.

Reynold let Laura rest. He wiped the cheek of his wife who still left a trace of tears, then rubbed the tops of his head and kissed her affectionately.

Then Reynold pulled out a chair and sat down beside the bed while holding Laura's hand tightly. Many times Reynolds kissed her and placed the back of Laura's hand on her cheek.

"Dear to you, don't leave me again!" reynold was full of regrets.

She did not expect such a trivial matter this morning to finally be fatal to Laura. If time could be repeated, he would not, of course, oppose his wife's wishes. Unfortunately the rice has become porridge, delicious not just swallow.

At about seven o'clock in the evening, a doctor came to check on Laura. He was still asleep and didn't notice it at all.

Then the doctor explained Laura's true circumstances to Reynold. Of course it made Reynold stunned, he did not expect Laura would suffer after having the fateful accident.

But Reynold remains grateful that Laura still survived the accident, at least Reynolds still has a chance to take care of her and make amends.

Reynold promises to look after Laura and take care of her until she recovers. She did not care even if Laura had to sit in a wheelchair though, the important thing was that Laura remained by her side. She already loved the poor girl and wanted to spend the rest of her life with Laura.

A few minutes after Laura's doctor left the room, Reynold's phone suddenly rang. He then moved away to pick up the call.

"Rey, how's Laura doing?" yuna asked from the other end.

"It's improved, just that one leg can't be moved. It takes time to recover." Reynolds replied in a heavy voice.

"You're patient, don't despair. You have to stay strong, Laura needs you in this state" Yuna told her cousin.

"Thank you, please help her pray! Hopefully as soon as we can get back to Jakarta, I will introduce you to him." Reynolds said.

"Yes, I and the others must have prayed for him. Take good care of him!"

After saying that, Yuna ended their call. Although Yuna knew Laura was her husband's ex-lover, but she was sincere and at peace with the situation. The past let it pass, they already have their own lives.
