J.D.A.K CHAPTER 52.

Before lunchtime arrived, Elkan and Beno had already walked out of the meeting room. His face seemed sparkling after pressing a contract with a fairly successful company in the capital. It will be more profitable for his company.

After arriving in the room, Elkan sat in his big chair while opening the laptop that was on the table. Curious, he finally opened his sosmed account. Initially only intended to see Yuna's post which is now actively sharing content with her followers, but her view was suddenly diverted when someone's post appeared on her blog.

"Andin sir" said Beno's secretary from out there.

"Come in!"

After getting permission, Andin pushed the door slowly. He lowered his gaze as he stood in the doorway.

"Sorry sir, there are guests who want to meet." explained Andin said the intention of his arrival.

"Who? Do I have an appointment today?" review Elkan with questions.

"No sir, today there is no meeting. But this woman is urging to meet the Master." explained Andin who is still loyal to lower his gaze.

"Woman?" Elkan frowned. Who is the woman who wants to meet her?

Andin had not been able to say who the woman was, a woman was already standing behind her.

"I'm Elkan, Laura." said Laura, smiling sweetly.

"Deg!"

Elkan gaped with wide eyes, the soft voice making his heart seem to stop to beat.

"Sir, you can leave us a moment!" pinta Laura walked a few steps.

"Well Miss, then excuse me first."

After Andin turned around leaving the room, Laura again stepped closer to Elkan. Elkan just froze staring fixedly at the face of the woman who was already standing before him.

"Can I sit down?" laura asked, quashing Elkan's daydream.

"Bo-can, please!" Elkan pointed at the chair in front of him, Laura sat down while looking at Elkan's face. There was such a deep longing to see the handsome man who still filled his heart to this day.

For a moment the room became silent, both Elkan and Laura were both silent for a moment. The gaze of the two fused to remind of the good times when they were together first.

"How are you Elkan?" laura asked, opening the conversation.

"Well, how are you?" answer Elkan with a question.

Laura smiled back. "I'm sorry I surprised you because of my sudden arrival,"

"Yes, no problem. What's the need?" ask Elkan who did not want to mince words any longer.

"No, I just want to see you. Sorry, actually I-"

"What's the apology for? I've forgotten that, after all, it's impossible to hold a grudge for so long." Elkan's chimpanzees cut out Laura's words.

"I know I'm guilty of you. It was Dad who urged me to say that."

"I'm sorry Elkan, can we-"

"I've forgiven you, there's no need to feel guilty for me!" cut out Elkan who again did not want to listen to the explanation from Laura.

"But I'm"

"Sorry Laura, I'm busy. Can you leave me alone?" Elkan opened his laptop again, trying to find a gap to be able to avoid Laura.

"Elkan-"

"Sorry, the door is right there!" Elkan pointed at the door with the pen in his hand.

"All right, I'll go home first. I'll be back later, there's still a lot I want to talk to you about."

Laura was anxious to cry, but all that she could endure was to keep Elkan from seeing. After getting up from her seat, Laura walked out of the room with a troubled heart.

If only at that time he did not comply with the wishes of the father, maybe the situation would be different. Surely the two are now happy to combine the love that has been woven since sitting on the bench of Junior High School.

After Laura's departure, Elkan stepped into the bathroom. Sad, upset, happy, confused, all blending into one.

Minutes after telling Beno about Elkan's situation, the man hung up his phone unilaterally.

"Other one, please help me move this man's body!"

Some of the men who were there also lifted Elkan's body and laid him on the sofa.
