"Take it..."

Instantly Elkan and Yuna's steps came to a halt when they heard the voice of a woman who was quite familiar in both ears. When he turned around, Elkan's eyes rounded to find a middle-aged woman who was already standing before him, while Yuna herself looked terrified as she hugged Elkan's arm tightly.

Not without reason Yuna's face changed like that. He was afraid that the woman would insult him again, let alone the position of the two of them being in a public place. Many people were passing by in front of the door of the hall. Yuna just wanted to keep her husband's marwah in public, she did not want it to be a spectacle let alone the many cameras scattered everywhere.

"Bang, just go in yuk! Don't serve!" whispered Yuna while pulling Elkan's arm.

Elkan nodded his head, he turned around and continued their steps.

"Wait for Elkan, Mama wants to talk!"

Suddenly a thin grin curled at the corner of Elkan's lips, not a smile of happiness but a mockery like condescending. Elkan turned around and was followed by Yuna.

"Mama...? Ahhaha..." Elkan repeated the word while laughing out loud. "Since when have you been willing to acknowledge yourself as my mother? Do I deserve to call you Mama? I don't think so, Madam..."

"Yes, you're right. I don't deserve to be called Mom. But please listen to me just this once! I have something to talk to you about, I'm afraid there's no time to say it." Elena approached them but Elkan instead retreated backwards.

"I don't think there's anything more between us to talk about. The relationship between us was cut off when you left me and my papa."

After saying that, Elkan pulled Yuna's hand and entered into the hall building. Her face was dark, and Yuna, who saw it, rubbed Elkan's arm to calm her husband's heart. Elkan twisted his neck and looked at Yuna softly. "That's okay, what matters is that Yuna's on Brother's side."

Yuna carved a smile and wrapped her hands around Elkan's waist. Of course the smile was able to cool Elkan's heart. For him Yuna not only became an encouragement in his life but also a solace when his heart was crushed.

After arriving at the VIP table, the two rejoined the rest of the family. Seeing Elga and Edgar leaning their bodies towards him, Elkan immediately took the two of his children and sat them on his lap.

"Darling Papa kangen huh?" Elkan dipped the cheeks of the two puffed up in turns. Seeing the laughter of the two who were so funny, Elkan's heart was filled with excitement.

He just wants to give his best for both, as much as possible he will pour out all his affection so that his two children do not feel what he feels. Losing two people at a time when the age is still too early is not delicious. Many beautiful moments are missed, many wounds and pains are passed.

Yuna stared fixedly at her husband's face, she knew Elkan was trying to divert the sadness that was stirring in her heart. He knew Elkan was very hurt and tried to hide it from everyone.

"Is the show done?" yuna asked as she turned her neck towards Beno and the others.

"Here you go, let's shake them up!" bring Beno. He got up from his seat and led Reni into the corridor.

"Diah, Lili, take the twins to your room first! We'll catch up" cried Elkan.

"Okay, sir," Then the two took the twins from Elkan's lap.

"Sister, Amit Sari is also saying yes!" Amit and Sari got up from their seats and left the hall with the two beautiful servants.

After the four of them moved away, Elkan and Yuna followed Beno into the corridor. They greeted all the important guests in turn and apologized for the shortcomings in the banquet.

Out there, a handsome man appeared and pulled the hand of Elena who was still standing in front of the hall building. It made Elena flinch in shock and rounded her eyes perfectly.

"What's Mama doing here? It's enough Ma, don't bother my sister anymore! Let him and his family live quietly!" firmly the man who was none other than Edward, the handsome man who had just set foot in the capital a moment ago.

"Edward, Mama just-"

"Ma, please stop! Is it hard to give up for me? I don't need a confession from anyone. It's all over, let-"

Suddenly Edward's words came to a halt as he caught Elkan's arrival who had just walked out of the hall building. Suddenly Edward's hand shook on Elena's arm, he was unable to speak to see the handsome figure that was getting closer to him.

From the bottom of his heart, Edward was eager to reveal himself and embrace his brother. But Edward couldn't do it, he didn't have the strength to do it. Instantly his eyes felt heavy holding back tears that wanted to spill immediately.

"Sorry Edward, Mama can't. Elkan should know who you really are. Accept it or not, you two still have blood ties." Elena brushed aside Edward's hand and ran after Elkan.

"Ma..."

Edward seemed so frustrated and ruffled his hair into a mess, then followed Elena who had arrived in front of Elkan.

"Take it..."

Again Elkan's steps had to stop when he saw the woman. Moreover, this time Elena was very brave to block her steps.

"Sorry, I don't have time to serve you." Elkan tried to dodge but Elena insisted on holding him back.

"You can hate me, you can't recognize me as your mama. But one thing you should know, you still have-"

"Enough Ma, let's go home!" cut Edward off while pulling Elena's hand.

"No Edward, Mama won't come home before saying this!" Elena jerked Edward's hand and turned to hold Elkan's hand. "Hell, Mama wants to talk, son. Just this once, Mama please!"

"Ma..." Edward's still trying to stop Elena.

"Be quiet, Edward, let Mama talk to your sister!" snapped Elena. That made Elkan shocked. His eyes rolled wildly and turned to look at Edward who from earlier would not raise his head.

Then Elkan turned to look at Yuna. "Honey, Yuna goes first with Beno and Reni. Soon you'll be following,"

"But Bang"

"It's okay, baby, Yuna believes in you, right?" persuade Elkan.

Inevitably Yuna was forced to nod and move beside Beno. The three of them left Elkan who was still standing before Elena.

"Ma, there's no point in bringing up old wounds. Let's go home!" Edward still hasn't given up on convincing his mom. He then pulled out Elena's hand, but this time it was Elkan who was holding her back.

"Wait!" firmly Elkan until making his second step stopped.

Edward turned his face away, unable to look at Elkan's face. His hands seemed to move rubbing the corners of his eyes alternately.

"Sorry for disturbing your composure" Edward pulled Elena's hand. Just two steps away Elkan's hand suddenly landed on his shoulder.

Edward stopped his steps, he didn't know what to do. The world seemed to collapse when it first felt the touch of Elkan's hand.

"Who are you?" ask Elkan who seemed to feel something when he was close to the man.

"Nobody, you don't have to think about that." - Edward, who finally shed all his tears.

"He's your sister" Elena said.

"Deg!"

Elkan gasped in shock until his hand slipped off Edward's shoulder. His heart rumbled as fast as lightning struck. Edward who could not help himself finally passed leaving them both.
