A Husband's Love

A Husband's Love
Meet Sean

Andre's getting upset. Andi who was taking home was still fun to ask this to Sinta. Many times he glanced at Andi. His brother really did not understand the situation faced by Andre. Even Bayu and the others were getting more and more familiar talking to Sinta. Andre also thought about how Sinta could get to know Bella.

Sinta reluctantly talks to her ex-husband's family. Not infrequently Sinta laughed at Andi's jokes. To cover up his nervousness, Andre deliberately turned his back on everyone sitting on the sofa.

All eyes were diverted towards the voice that said greetings. Sean, Andre's best friend stood at the door with a gift in his hand. Sean approached Andre, and handed the small gift to Andre. A gift for Andre's daughter to be exact.

Sean bowed respectfully to Papa Rahmat and mama Ningsih. And for the others Sean just smiled. Sean then pulls the empty chair near Andre, then sits on it.

"Congratulations bro, I'm an old man now" Sean said, patting Andre on the arm. Andre just smiled. Sean's arrival slightly diverted Andre's concern about Sinta's whereabouts in the room.

The chatter in the room came to a halt as a nurse pushed the baby's bed. Kenzo and Rey quickly approach the crib placed near Cindy's bed. Andre who was already standing, bowed his body stroking his daughter. So did Mama Ningsih with the sparkling face of the old woman getting closer to the crib and stroking the cheeks of her first granddaughter. The others were still relaxed in their seats.

"Tante, later the baby's sister was born like this too yes," asked Rey who only answered Sinta with a nod. Sean directed his eyes at Sinta. Instantly she remembered, the woman who was with Andre in front of the jasmine cafe and at the station. Sean's memory does not fade, although Sinta is now fat and her cheeks are stye, Sean is sure that Sinta is the same person he saw with Andre.

"Andre, is she the woman you were with in front of the jasmine cafe and the station?" asked Sean curiously. Andre didn't know what to answer.

Sinta was no less surprised to hear Sean's question. His hands squeezed each other covering his nervousness. Sinta has also felt fear, lest Andre's family find out that he was once Andre's mistress. However the name of the deposit must get a negative assessment.

"No, he's not the one you saw" Andre replied lying. She doesn't want her family to suspect that she's asking Sean questions. Sinta was also relieved, Andre's answer was better than Andre's family knowing his status. Agnes who was still paying attention to Andre felt a little awkward. Sean looked back at Sinta. He was convinced that Andre was lying.

"Pa, Mama. Soon the clock runs out and I will lie down for a while" Andre told his parents. Andre deliberately drove them away subtly. Linger with Sinta in the same room makes Andre like a hot worm.

"Okay bro, then I'm saying goodbye, too" said Sean rising from his seat. The others stood up too. Although Andre's way is subtle, they understand Andre doesn't want them in the room.

"Sister Sean, the direction of Sister's house with Sinta seems to be in the same direction. Sinta sama just go home yes!" agnes said then mentioned Sinta's address.

"It's actually okay. Just afraid, later her husband misunderstood that the brother who delivered home," replied Sean

"Please, Sinta is divorced. So no one will forbid or get angry." Hearing Agnes' words, Sean again observed Sinta. Right, Sinta is what she saw when she was with Andre. Sean then looked at Andre. The man pretended to look down at the baby.

"Agnes, I'm taking a taxi online. What's wrong" said Sinta. He also felt bad if he had to hitchhike with people he had just seen.

"Love, you're the same Sean. You're safe with her" Andi said. Looking at Bella, Bella nodded in agreement.

They're all out of Cindy's room, except for Agnes. Agnes was leisurely sitting back on the sofa. He had asked permission to go home to Mama Ningsih recently. That's why Agnes asked Sean to drive Sinta home.

"Agnes, aren't you coming home?" ask Andre. Agnes just shook her head then focused on her phone.

"Sister, I want to talk. Let's go out for a second,"

"Can't be Agnes, nobody's guarding Cindy,"

"We're just going outdoors, not out of the hospital. Not ten minutes," said Agnes. Agnes had already stood up and pulled Andre's hand out. Cindy doesn't care. She looked at the baby.

"Sir, tell me you know Sinta," asked Agnes after pulling Andre's hand away from Cindy's front room.

"What the hell is the deck, I. I don't know him," replied Andre a little nervously making Agnes even more suspicious.

"You don't worry Agnes, don't accuse her. Brother wants to, you go home now," replied Andre angrily then passed from before Agnes.

In the car, Sinta feels awkward with Sean. Just meeting and directly sitting together in the car makes the pregnant woman feel awkward.

"What's your name?, Sinta ya!" ask Sean. Sinta just nodded.

"Are you divorced?" ask Sean again. Sinta nodded back

"How old are you?" sean asked so that Sinta would not just nod in response to his question.

"Seven months" Sinta answered briefly.

"No need to hesitate, you can call me like Agnes," said Sean who knew that Sinta was awkward.

"Thank you brother," said Sinta turning her face towards Sean as Sean looked at Sinta.

Sean was stunned by Sinta's gaze. Sinta's shady gaze made Sean's heart flutter. Sinta looked straight ahead. Sean with his heart still pounding refocused on the steering wheel.

Sean recalled the first time he asked Andre about Sinta. At that time Andre said he was married and earlier in the room Andre said that it was not Sinta who was seen in front of the jasmine cafe.

"Love, how do you know them?" asked Sean curiously.

"They're who's sister?"

"Andre and his family." Sinta. Sinta doesn't know what to answer, fearing the answer makes Sean suspicious. Sean is Andre's best friend. Sinta still remembers her agreement with Andre.

"I work at Bella's cafe. I only know Bella and Agnes. The others just met earlier," replied Sinta slowly. Hearing Sinta's answer, Sean is convinced that Andre and Sinta are equally hiding something.

"A situation like this, are you still working?" sean asked in a high voice. He felt pity and could not bear to hear Sinta who was still working with a bulging stomach. Sinta looked back. Sean even cursed in his heart, swearing at Sinta's male ex-husband.

"Sister, I got off in front of that convenience store only," said Sinta pointing at the near-close convenience store.

"Why get down there. I can take you to your front door,"

"So there, brother, it's not good if you get to the front of the house. Can be neighbors gossip and spread slander," replied Sinta. Sean confirmed Sinta's words, then stopped his car.

"Thank you brother,"

"Wait, don't thank me. Nih, write your phone number here," said Sean handing his phone to Sinta. Sinta hesitates a bit but then takes the phone out of Sean's hand and writes down his phone number.

"Behold," Sean said again as Sinta was about to descend. Sinta's phone rings.

"That's my phone number, saved yes!. Sinta simply nodded and lowered both of her legs from the car.
