"Share Love" 1 Heart 2 Ayesha
Chapter 48

Daffa brought a basket filled with fruit, he had only visited Humairah after getting news from Alif about the incident, because this man had just returned from training outside the city.

All of his fellow peers became boisterous discussing the death of doctor Aisyah which astounded everyone, no one would have expected that a female doctor could do such a thing.

Daffa as a friend did not want to give any information to those who were curious about what happened, so he chose to remain silent and did not respond to various rumors about the cause of Aisha's suicide.

"Alif," called Daffa when he saw Alif sitting in one of the waiting chairs right in front of the Humairah nursery.

The man seemed to be sitting in a doldrums, both his hands supporting his forehead that had just lowered since earlier. Ducking in regret.

Daffa approached and touched his best friend's shoulder.

"Humorah had dissociative amnesia, she forgot me, forgot about our marriage, forgot all about me" Alif said limply.

"He's experiencing it again."

Alif nodded.

"You need to know that there is indeed a person who is unable to face severe psychological trauma until his subconscious prefers to keep a memory of an event that he considers to leave a deep scar from his memory, trust me, Humairah can get through this."

Obviously Daffa, he had been informed about the condition of Alif's wife from his senior who happened to be handling the Humairah case.

"Yes, and I'm one of the traumas she's been feeling. I can't see him hurt anymore, I'm mean to him, I'm not a good husband and protector to him" Alif said in his lowest voice.

"Then? You want to give up the fight to get your wife again?"

Alif nodded, "If with that, Humairah can escape the trauma and start a new life better why not.... He had suffered enough with my presence all this time, I could not bear if Humairah had to get back sick by remembering that yesterday's incident was because of me too, I could not bear it, since this stupid man was up to Aisyah doing that desperate thing, he almost killed Humairah."

Daffa touched Alif's shoulder again while chuckling.

"That won't change any friends, believe me you should stay by her side, explain things slowly so that her memories come back instead of leaving her with this kind of ridiculous excuse" Daffa replied.

"I don't support you on this. You stay away not to get better but to add new wounds, you get hurt Humairah will be just as hurt if she remembers you later. I've given up for the good of you and Humairah, don't make me want it again because of this attitude of yours."

Alif turned to Daffa with a dislike look.

"I'm just kidding, I want you guys together. I know Humairah loves you, after all isn't it good to cancel your wife's divorce? You should've taken a stupid chance."

Alif fell silent, then he shook his head again.

"I don't want to hurt her again with a bad memory of me, I've got so much wrong with her. The doctor said he would be sick if he insisted on remembering, I didn't want Humairah to be sick, he just deserved to laugh and smile like this. He only remembered that he was a busy student with a task without any other burden of thought, I could not see him in pain anymore. If it's for the best, I'll give up.... His ultimate happiness."

Alif said with wet eyes, Daffa understood Alif's feelings so that he did not try to offend him again.

Like Humairah, Alif was just as traumatized as the horrific events of two days ago, Daffa understood very well that it was not easy to face a series of things together.

"I just don't want you to regret it later."

"Then what are you gonna do?"

"Maybe Humairah is right, with distance can reduce the tightness felt at this time. He needs time to heal, and I'm not going to hinder his recovery."

Papa Imran also felt sorry for his son-in-law, he was really grateful to Alif who came to save Humairah so that his daughter did not become one of the victims of the insanity of his adopted son.

Papa Imran has also offered Alif to make up with Humairah by taking advantage of the memory loss experienced by his daughter, but Alif refused he did not want to deceive Humairah as if they were fine before while they were in the destruction of the household.

It has been two weeks since Humairah returned home, Imran assisted by Lola and Aji explained slowly about the state of Humairah who had indeed lived in her biological parents' house before losing her memory.

It also explains that Ihsan's father has died, but he was not told about the death of Ihsan's father due to what. Hearing that his father died had made Humairah sick, papa Imran was wrong.

Until one morning, Humairah came out of the room but his gaze towards an object that was able to make his smile again expanded.

"Why buy this for me?"

Papa Imran nodded with a smile.

"In order not to get bored, believe me, everything will be fine. Don't be sad anymore, papa wants you to be as usual, cheerful and as you are."

Humairah hugged her father when she found a piano in the living room.

"No, I'm better off now don't worry about it. I am aware of everything that happens by God's will, I love Ihsan's father but God is more affectionate to be called so soon. Even though I don't remember anything, I'm more sincere now."

"There's more papa, I'll be fine. Come on, don't look at me like that, we'll both be happy. Hmmmmm if papa doesn't mind if I can go see mom?"

Papa Imran was silent for a moment, then he nodded.

"Of course, but promise me you won't be as sad as yesterday."

Humairah nodded they hugged again.

An hour later, Humairah and papa Imran walked down the corridor of a mental hospital, Humairah carrying a bag of food and special toiletries for his mother who was treated there.

Yes, Aini's mother has been in a mental hospital since she was confirmed to be mentally disturbed while informing police after the incident. She and Alif were on the witness list of the bloody events of her son and husband, but not Humairah.

Alif only stated that there were no witnesses other than himself and Aini's mother who were there until Humairah did not need to be involved again from this case.

Humairah watered his eyes when he visited his mother who was still in a special room for new patients, the middle-aged woman just silently looked blankly in one direction.

Accompanied by a nurse he approached Aini's mother, greeted her and kissed her hand. Humairah wiped the corner of her watery eyes.

Hearing the voice of Humairah Aini's mother turned her head.
