Chapter 32: Reason

“No..no... don't touch me!” Faniya's voice paused “I-this is Mason's son! mason's property is not yours!” Faniya said hysterically and along with that the message ended.

Mason fell silent, his brain digesting what he had just heard. It was quite difficult for him to process what happened but one thing he knew, Faniya was playing behind him

Mason called the foreign number that sent him the message but unfortunately, the call was not connected. The number is no longer registered. Mason tries to think postively maybe there are people who want to bring him down but on the other hand he believes that the voice is indeed Faniya's.

“Carl” call Mason

A man in a brown suit walked into Mason's room with a slight bow

“Ya Tuan”

“Find out all the things Faniya hid from me!” Mason's orders. Carl nodded then smiled faintly, finally the boss got enlightenment about the woman whom Carl did not like.

“Good Tuan” Said he was obedient

Ella was in the reading room this afternoon. The door of the room opened, Ariella was not bothered at all with who came because she could already guess who else could freely roam the mansion other than the owner.

“Focus once” Mederick hugs Ella from behind. The man's attitude is getting sweeter every day.

Ella tilted her face, looking at Mederick in close proximity, involuntarily touching the man's neck.

Mederick smiled faintly, he held back Ariella's chin and kissed Ariella's lips. A short, sweet kiss, made a romantic atmosphere created between the two. Ariella's eyes were staring at Mederick, this kind of atmosphere made her feel uncomfortable especially the gray eyes of Mederick looking at her made the situation even more strange.

Ariella slightly distanced her face from Mederick and refocused on the book in her hands. He felt a heavy weight on his shoulders as Mederick piled his head there.

“You are not tired of continuing to read?” Mederick said, his head tilted with the look of an eye that was eyeing Ella's neck. His gaze was like a predator ready to grab onto its prey. After all, the neck is a sensitive part and that is what Mederick is after.

“Not more tired than taking care of you” Ella closes her novel as Mederick starts acting up. He loosened Mederick's arm which was on his waist but did not let go.

“Why did you come home so fast? I don't remember this coming home from work” Tanya Ella. His attention was on Mederick

“I'm the boss. No employee dares to fire his boss”

“One-time boasted” Ariella screeched, those brown eyes scanned Mederick's seductive appearance. The man's top two buttons opened, revealing his field chest that looked claustrophobic.

“I managed to catch Drevon Archard, do you want me to do what?” tanya Mederick takes over Ella's focus from Mederick's body

“I don't know yet. You can do whatever you want with her” replied Ella.

“You sure?” Ask Mederick

Mederick kissed Ella's forehead “He will soon realize, Daniel said his condition began to stabilize” Mederick said that made Ariella smile sincerely. Daniel is the Winston family's personal physician. Ariella acknowledged the middle-aged man's skill in health.

“Thank you, Der”

“Whatever to you, Love” Mederick said with a faint sneer on his lips. Ariella pushes Mederick away when the man is***** his lips.

“For the sake of Lord Der, it's still afternoon” Ariella said resentfully, silence going on for a while. Ariella looked at Mederick. Now he could see the grin on the man's lips.

“If you want to do it at night. it’s okay. We do it for the second time” Mederick said which made Ariella stunned. The longer he's seen Mederick's madness.

“I want to see Leander” Ariella trying to get herself out of a hot and stressful situation. Mederick's gaze was completely different from before.

“Stop tormenting me Love, you don't want me to be rude right?!” Stifling Mederick in frustration, his hands clasped Ella's waist and held the woman in front of him. Ariella is convinced that Mederick will not let go of her at this time.

“You're like making me a legal complacent, Der.” Ariella chuckled, she stared at the gray eyes of Mederick who looked up at her brown eyes. Mederick continued to step up, he opened the door of the room still in a position carrying Ella.

“That's one of the reasons I married you” Mederick said along with Ariella who was thrown on her king size bed.

“And other reasons?” ariella asked after lying down

“You will know later” He said with a wide grin before meeting Ariella below.

At midnight, Mederick comes out of the room, leaving Ariella asleep, exhausted by their heat struggle. Mederick went down the stairs to the basement. He whistled at a man tied to a chain just below him.

“Weak as well” Mederick muttered mockingly.

“I have no problem with you, Mederick Winston!” Drevon spoke with teeth grinding. His body felt very sick from the lash given by Mederick's subordinates.

“Wah means you forgot if you ever sent me a parasite that bothered me” Mederick said with a scary laugh. The man waved as an order for his two subordinates who were there to leave.

“Since when has a Mederick Winston interfered with someone else's problems?!” Drevon asked mockingly. He knew of the Winston family principle which was always neutral when it came to other parties.

“Other people? Maybe you forgot that Ariella is already my wife”

Drevon fell silent, not expecting Mederick to actually fall into Ella's arms. Drevon thinks all of Mederick's behavior is just a gimmick for the man to gain the Winston family's legacy and Dalton's trust.

“Oh yes, my wife is confused as to how to repay your actions so I took the initiative to help her.” Mederick said with a cheerful laugh.

See? Already Ariella said no, if after a hot night they Mederick really become a very useful pawn for him. Including helping him get revenge.
