Chapter 25: The Party

A helicopter landed at an airport that had been guarded by many men in black uniforms. Mederick leads Ariella out of the Helicopter to a white jet parked neatly in the airport field.

“I thought we were going to Italy with helicopter”

“Don't joke, you can jet lag if we use a helicopter. Wait here” Mederick's edict that Ariella obeyed. Ella looked at Mederick who was walking towards a man in pilot uniform. Looks like that guy's the one who's gonna be carrying this jet.

Ariella stared at the jet in amazement. There's Wston Airlines on the fuselage. Gray writing made like carving.

Ariella looked back at Mederick. The two are seen chatting before Mederick returns to him and takes him into the jet.

After shooting for 17 hours, Mederick's private jet landed safely in Milan. This time Mederick settled in his old mansion.

The mansion was only inhabited by servants and one butler who was in charge of organizing everything including the arrival of Mederick and Ariella to the place.

The butler was named Cain, about 55 years old. Ariella could guess it as Cain greeted them at the door with a respectful bow “Welcome Young Master and Young Madam” Sapa Cain.

Ariella smiled at Mederick. The man greeted Cain with a familiar “Over time did not meet Cain”

Mederick nodded in response and then embraced Ariella into the Mansion. This mansion is not as big as the Mederick Mansion in Washington.

If the Mederick Mansion is full of luxury equipment such as ancient European castles, the Mansion is more attached to the impression of a minimalist and simple that makes visitors feel comfortable. Even on the right side there is a greenhouse that interests Ella to be there.

“You like this place?” Ask Mederick. He could see Ariella who was comfortable with this Mansion.

Tonight Mederick and Ariella attend a party hosted by one of Mederick's business associates. The party was held at a hotel in Milan. Ariella wears a covered yet elegant evening dress. Dresses specially selected by Mederick.

Ariella gave her eyes, the atmosphere of this party was different from the party she used to go to with Andrew. The atmosphere of the party is definitely different from the corporate formalities party.

Guests show their luxury even more so a party of the upper class like this is one place to get stronger relations.

Ella admits in the business world Mederick is very well known. Not only because of his figure hidden behind the mask like now but also because he is a smart man and can lead well.

“Mr. Winston” A woman comes to Mederick. The woman is Mederick's business partner, the heir to a company Ella knows as Xeva. One of the women who had been betrothed to Mederick but failed because Xeva threatened to kill herself if the match was made. That was the news Ariella had heard before.

“I thought you'd come without a mask this time” Continue Xeva

Xeva approached Mederick and whispered softly “I will send her a dress that you will definitely like for her” After that Xeva then left with a satisfied smile.

Ariella shook her head. He knew that Xeva had no evil intentions and was just flirting.

“Good night, Mr. Winston” A middle-aged man greets Mederick. Hearing the man's voice made Ariella sculpt, she looked at the man closely. It was like investigating something hidden behind his wide smiling face

Ariella did not even realize that Mederick and the man's chatter was over. He only realized when the man had already moved away from where they were.

“What are you daydreaming about?” Tanya Mederick breaks Ariella's daydream.

“Who is that guy?” Ariella asked back

“Drevon Archard?” Mederick mentioned the name of the middle-aged man who had just spoken to him

Drevon Archard's? Ariella had never heard of the name but she felt familiar with her face.

“Do she have family?” Ask Ariella

“Hm.he has a wife but she is dead and her son is in a mental hospital. Wh why? You want me to investigate that guy?”

“No. I'll do it myself” Inner Ariella at the end of her sentence.

The party went on as it should. Ariella looked at the entrepreneurs who kept talking about business. Ella was so sorry for the host of this event that might be very hit if she knew there was an intrusion at her own party.

Ariella's arrival this time is to accompany Mederick in search of the target of the man named Yamada. But an hour ago Mederick didn't move at all. Until the fifth minute after that Mederick approached and took him away from the ballroom.
