Chapter 24: Are You Jealous?

“Do not regret your words later” Excited Mederick right next to Ella's ear after she kept her body away from Ella" come down we've reached” said Mederick

Ariella blinked her eyes. He is too focused on his own mind to be unaware if it has arrived at their destination.

The Wston Hotel, the same place where he married Mederick, will have dinner with Dalton, Mederick's grandfather. This will be their second meeting.

Ariella enters the hotel with Mederick's hand. A woman in front of the receptionist clothes led them straight to the top floor, where a 5-star restaurant the hotel owned.

“Goodnight, Kek” Sapa Mederick and Ariella as they already stand in front of Dalton.

The old man smiled widely and invited them to sit down. Various types of western food have been presented at the round table with a candle in the middle.

“So when will you take over the company?” Ariella raised her eyebrows as Dalton asked Mederick. Mederick seemed to think for a moment and looked at Dalton again

“Later, after we returned from our honeymoon. I don't want my early married life to be dizzy because the grandfather” company replied Mederick made Ariella nudge Mederick's leg which was right next to her.

“Good, Damien has started acting since breaking up from Erika”

Mederick smiled faintly, he tilted his head “I heard he messed up his life and made grandfather cover up the losses of branch office”

Dalton sighed then massaged his forehead “Already, I gave up with him” Dalton's gaze pointed at Ariella “So where are you going for your honeymoon?” Ask her

“Bali” Brief Mederick makes Ariella again nudge the man's leg which is replied with a sweet smile Mederick.

“Good choice. By the way Ella, she didn't act rudely with you did she?”

“Grandfather thinks I'll hit him?” Mederick's voice won't take it

“Not rude that's what I mean, son” Dalton chuckles while Ariella smiles thinly. To be honest, he didn't know what the two men were talking about.

“Mr Dalton” Gore is closing in on Dalton.

“You don't see I'm enjoying a relaxing time with my grandson, Gore?” dalton's voice sounded resolute

“Sorry sir, but Mr. Yamada will make a transaction in two days and they decided to cooperate with our company”

“Sorry once” Dalton babbling. This was the first time Ariella had seen the other side of Mederick's grandfather.

“Derick, clear Yamada. I'm tired of them” Dalton doesn't want to finish Yamada with his own power. He was old enough to do that. It's easier to tell her granddaughter who did that even more so she has to make Ariella realize what Mederick looks like so that the girl is not surprised to find out everything.

Mederick stared at Ariella for a while before turning on his grandfather “What transaction are they doing?” Ask Mederick

“Gun api” Dalton replied casually. He smiled in satisfaction as he looked at Ariella's calm response. The girl was not affected by their topic of discussion which was quite extreme for women like Ella.

Their dinner ended shortly after Mederick received an order from Dalton to take care of the man Ariella knew named Yamada.

Mederick looked at Ariella who was walking next to him without asking much. They headed for the elevator quietly, no one was talking, only the sound of their footsteps could be heard in the corridor.

When the elevator door opens, Ariella confronts Faniya and Mason. It was such a bad luck for Ella to have to meet the couple.

“Come on kak” Faniya said. It seemed like Faniya was indeed deliberately waiting for him by holding the elevator door open. But Ariella asked how their time was very fitting. As if it was planned to meet.

“No need, you guys go first” Reply Ariella with a hand that embraces Mederick. Faniya smiled widely.

“Come on, sister, there's still enough room for you two” Faniya holds Ella. He still pressed the elevator button to keep it open.

“Why do you feel like you are still locked up in the massalu brother, enter” said Faniya.

“Who has been locked up in the past? I just don't want to ruin my tennis night by being in one place with a teaser.” Ariella replied calmly.

“You mean?” Faniya asked

“Mason.” Ariella did not answer Faniya. He actually spoke to Mason “You should remind your partner not to tease a married man. Although only with her gaze” Continued Ella made Faniya growl restrained.

Ariella wanted to make Mason aware of the real figure of Faniya. He has to admit that Mason is too good for Faniya. He could not even imagine how Mason would react if he knew the child Faniya conceived was not his son.

“Sorry Ella, lately Fani did like to see something shining and your husband's face has that aura” Mason said, the man apologized for Faniya.

“I'm not an item” Mederick sounds heavy. Her hands on Ariella's waist grew tighter. Mason who saw that smiled wryly.

“Thank God if your marriage is okay. I wish you all the best and I'm sorry if I didn't come to your wedding” Mason said, voicing the thoughts that have been bothering him all along, even though it's too late at least he's already said his prayers. Think of it as one of redemption because it has played behind Ariella when they will be engaged.

“I did not invite you” ketus Mederick along with her who took Ariella away from the elevator. Ella elbowed the man's waist with her elbow.

“What the fuck are you this” Upset Ariella

“Why? I did not invite him” replied Mederick without sin.

“Already, where are we going?” Ella asked as they climbed the emergency stairs to the roof. Luckily the place they were with the roof was only 2 floors away so Ariella did not need to get tired of climbing the stairs.

Mederick ignored Ariella's question. The man pressed a button on his watch.The screen showed a connected call.

“Rooftop” Short Mederick Greeting. Ariella looked at the man in confusion. The 5-minute sound of the helicopter approaching caught his attention.

“What is this?” Ariella asked with a surprised look

“I'm going to Italy, and you're coming with me”

“APA?”

“Why surprised so? You should get used to going suddenly with me. You know if your husband has a busy schedule”

“I know. But why am I coming too. I thought your schedule business wasn't my responsibility.”

“You're my wife isn't she?” Mederick asked. Ariella nodded stiffly “That means you have to come wherever I am” continued Mederick

“What is your sentence? looks like you forgot that we're han-“

“Stt- Don't say anything about that agreement. He's Mederick's grandfather”'s men whispering while covering Ariella's mouth with his palm. His gray eyes stared at the helicopter pilot. Ariella who understood the direction of Mederick's gaze nodded in understanding.

“After all I can't let you down and meet that shitty guy” Mederick said as he let go of his hand and then turned his face away.

“You're jealous, Der..?” Ariella asked, reading Mederick

“Not yet, but we’ll see.” His mutter then turned to take Ariella to the helicopter.
