Chapter 26: The Bet

“Mr. Yamada”

Ariella looked at Mederick. Apparently that man was their target.

“Mederick Winston, happy to see you here” Yamada smiled widely with hidden intentions when welcoming the arrival of Mederick. “Ingin bet?” ask Yamada

“How should I install?” Mederick asked back. Yamada was seen thinking for a moment and his gaze was directed at Ariella. Staring at Ariella with a judging look.

Mederick who realized that smiled faintly. It is not wrong to assume that Yamada is a striped-nose man. Making Ariella as bait in his plan proved to be very successful.

“A woman” Bargain Yamada. Without further explanation, Ariella can understand the meaning of the man's words.

Ariella looked at Mederick. The feeling is starting to feel bad now especially when Mederick took a position sitting in front of the city table and faced with Yamada

“If you win, he's yours” Mederick said to Yamada, he ignored the protective gaze Ariella gave. It's good that Mederick uses himself as a bet.

“Der, you-“ Ariella made an unaccepted voice, Mederick looked at the girl who was his wife and smiled faintly “When my last card opened go towards Gore”. Ariella looked at Mederick who gave the code with her eyes.

Ella's gaze is shifted to Gore at the end of the room, a place that is dark enough for a casino. At the end of it Gore nodded her head, understanding the meaning of the gaze the girl was looking at her.

The card game between Mederick and Yamada began with a lot of tension for Ariella.behind her calm attitude no one knows if her legs covered in long dress was moving riled up. He was very confident that something big would happen after this.

10 Minutes have passed since the card game began and this is when the winner is determined. When the last card opened, a sigh of relief came from Ariella. Mederick wins their bet. Ariella moved slowly towards the end of the room, towards where Gore was.

“I lost” Yamada admitted his defeat, he smiled widely. “So which woman do you want Mr. Winston?”

Mederick looked at the 4 women behind Yamada. The woman smiled seductively, trying to attract the attention of Mederick to pick them. “I don't want your woman Yamada”

“Then what is your destination to this place?” Yamada asked, but he secretly gave his assistant a cue when he saw Ariella who was avoiding them.

“I want your life” Mederick said with his wide grin

DORS.. DOR..

The sound of gunfire filled the casino, causing visitors to scatter in panic. Mederick suddenly shot 3 bullets in a row to the second floor, shooting sniper belonging to Yamada who had been preparing since the arrival of Mederick.

“You're sure Derick will be safe there?” Ask Ariella. He was a little worried about the man's safety because now they were playing in the enemy's cage. After all if Mederick dies there then the goal will be even harder to achieve.

Gore looked at Ariella with a faint smile. He is sure if Ariella does not know the plan of the boss' grandson “You rest easy, miss, all is in the control of Young Master”

Gore takes Ariella out of the hotel, a black sedan parked in front of the lobby. “Please enter miss” Gore to open the passenger door for Ella

“We'll leave Derick there?”

“Young master can solve everything. You don't have to worry, Miss. Master told me to take you back to Mansion”

“Oke” Ariella nods indifferently then gets in the car. As the car moved away from the hotel, they passed by a police unit car that drove in the opposite direction.

“Why are there police? Isn't what you're doing illegal?” Ariella asked Gore. His head turned backwards, following the direction of the police car Ella believed was heading towards the hotel where they had been.

“Police came because of a hotel employee's call. You rest easy miss, Young Master can handle it well”

Ariella rolled her eyes puffed. Again Gore answered his question with the same intention “It looks like you trust Mederick so much that you leave everything to your Young Master that” Ariella said with a sarcastic tone. “If he is found dead, you can't possibly say that sentence as calmly as now”

“I trust Mr. Dalton” Firmly Gore. Ariella feels cocky. Looks like the conversation with Gore is not well connected. “Mr Dalton ordered Young Master to solve it so I'm sure Mr. Dalton's choice is not wrong” Gore explained Ariella's misunderstanding.

“Wah is truly a true subordinate” Ariella cheers in amazement in heart. It seems like Gore's soul and body were truly dedicated to Winston.

Approximately 1 hour black was entering the courtyard of the Parliv mansion. Ariella looked at the servants who were welcoming her, but this time there was something strange, the maids look uneasy or maybe like banning her from entering the Mansion because they are obstructing Ella by asking some pretty disturbing questions.

Luckily Gore threatened the servants so that Ariella could step in calmly, until in the guest room Ariella's steps stopped because of a man standing in front of her.

Apparently this was the reason the servants held him. Because a green-eyed man who looked at him with a big smile on his lips.

“So you're my sister-in-law?” He said with a smile that looked terrible.
