Chapter 29: Side story

“You won't be able to hurt me, Der. Admit it”

“Because of our contract?” Mederick laughed amusedly

“Bukan” Say Ariella fast. His hand grabbed the gun that was right in his head and turned the gun towards Mederick. “Because you loved me, from the beginning, even before our contract started!” Ariella said sure to make those gray eyes sparkle.

“Love said?! You really look up to you, Ariella”

Ariella looked up with a mocking look, the gun was still aimed at Mederick “Then why did you just shut up when this gun was directed at you” Ariella asked back. Mederick grinned

“You won't pull the trigger”

“Oh yes? I could have pressed wrong, like you said I can't guess”

Mederick chuckles he lets go of her hand that Ella is holding and lets Ariella take over the gun pointed at her head. Now Ariella is holding the gun with her own hands

“Please” Mederick smile thinly.

Ariella pointed the gun at the ceiling of the mansion and Klek. In front of him Mederick's face looked extremely mocking him.

“I can't possibly let you play with a gun that has bullets, Riel” Whispers Mederick.

“That's a pleasure yes you are with me to the point of not wanting me to play with this dangerous object” actually Ariella intends to joke while saying this but Ariella gasps as Mederick's big hand pulls her arm strong. His body hit the wall.

“So what will you do when you realize it Riel...” Mederick muttered “You didn't think to run?” He continued with a voice capable of making Ariella feel in a dangerous situation.

But on the other hand, this is also a good thing for him. Whether it's love, love or obsession even though all of that Ariella will make the best use of it

Ariella's outstretched hand stroking Mederick's face made the man close his eyes enjoying Ariella's touch. Ariella faintly grinned, Mederick is already attracted to her and that will further ease her plan.

“I can't run. You promised to find Leander for me, Der.” Ariella's voice sounded very softly provoking those gray eyes open and looking at her intensely “Good Girl, you will meet her soon”

“You know where he is?” Ariella slightly distanced Mederick's body from in front of her, the tone of the girl's voice sounding high.

“Hmm” Mederick re hugs Ella, sinks her head on the recess of the girl's neck “She was stranded on the island” Muttered Mederick.

“When will you bring it to me?”

“You need when?” Mederick asked back to make Ariella's mouth gap. Is it that easy for Mederick to find and bring Leander to him? If so already from the beginning Ariella will take advantage of the power of this man

“In 3 days, I want to meet him. By the way the woman was.” said Ariella referring to the woman who just shot Mederick. Ariella accidentally switched their conversation “Drevon Archard who sent her?” Ariella asked, even though she already knew the answer.

“True, do you remember that old man, Riel?” Mederick stroked Ariella's face.

“See, other than at the party at the time I thought I had met him but I forgot”

“He's the guy who hit your parents' car, Riel. He caused the death of your parents and caused you to be stranded in the orphanage” Mederick said which strangely did not make Ariella surprised at all. “So you already know?” Mederick asked after noticing Ariella's response who just silently looked at him

On the other hand a man in a black hat entered a dark room. He lowered his head with a slight tremble “There's good news for me?” Andrew asked the man in the hat

“Our spies are dead. Drevon took his own steps when he met Ella at the party”, which reportedly made Andrew growl. After the man came out Andrew grabbed his phone, tried to contact Drevon. The middle-aged man growled as Drevon did not pick up his phone.

“Damn you Archard!” Andrew cursing. Reports from his men if Drevon makes plans of his own after seeing Ariella at the party make Andrew become very angry.

Drevon is a distant relative and the man also helps him to seize Rafael's company - Ariella's father, and they also hide his rightful heir Leander on a remote island belonging to Drevon, who is now living in the city, certainly with the security guarded by Andrew's men

Andrew accidentally doesn't kill Leander and lets the man live on the island in order to make him a threat to Ariella as she is now and to Ariella, Andrew did want the girl because she looked similar to Liliana.

“Tuan” Andrew's subordinate back in his room.

“What's up?” Andrew asked still with a furious rage

“There was a big explosion on the island of Palmra, only 6 guards survived the rest died”

Andrew remained silent. Palmra Island is where Leander hides.
