Chapter 16: Aready miss you
Ariella finishes her show of baths full of annoyance because of a Mederick Winston. The man left a red trail that Ella had been very difficult to remove.
With a plain white dress with a knee-length turtleneck model attached to her body, she went down the stairs, her stomach felt hungry because she had not eaten anything since last night.
The sound of Ella's feet wrapped in flat shoes made a sound that filled the silence of the mansion. Ariella observed Mederick's mansion, it felt so lonely.
Ella realizes that this mansion is different from the first place she met Mederick. There are no guards or servants here. Even Jack and Anna, the middle-aged maidservants he had met before were also nonexistent.
When Ariella went to the kitchen, she was surprised by the figure of a woman who looked quite old standing behind her, cooking.
“Hello” Sapa Ella makes the woman turn around. The woman looked in admiration at Ariella, but she immediately covered up and looked down respectfully.
“You want breakfast mistress?” ask the woman
The madam? Ah Ariella remembers that she is now Lady Winston, no longer Miss Ariella.
“Iya, aunty ..”
“Tesa Moore, mistress” Said the woman
“Greetings aunt Tesa, call me Ella just”
“But mistress.”
“I'm not comfortable being called madam” anyway I just be a temporary mistress.Ariella continued in her heart.
“Mederick is gone?” ask Ariella
“Master left about 1 hour ago, Nyonya”
“I told you not to call me ma'am aunty”
“But I can't madam” Ariella sighed softly
“Call me miss” akhri Ariella, Tesa nodded
“Good miss Ella” Sahut with a thin smile
“Emm...So can I have breakfast? I'm hungry” Ariella chuckles at the end of her words.
“Jeez, forgive me miss. Please sit down first I will prepare breakfast miss”
“Thank you”
Ariella sat on the dining table. A large dining table consisting of 12 chairs, is perfect for large family banquets but unfortunately now Ariella only enjoys her own food.
Nearly 10 minutes later, Tesa emerged from the kitchen pushing a food trolley.
“Please Nona” Say Tesa after arranging food on the table
“Thank you” Ariella grabbed the fork and ate the paste given by Tesa with eyes staring around. The Mederick Mansion was completely deserted.
“Master said miss will come out so master ordered the bodyguards to look after miss” Tesa said after seeing Ariella finished eating. Ariella fell silent, she remembered the balck card Mederick had given her. You can use that card to buy anything.
“If I want to buy Darwin company, where should I go?” ariella asked with a faint smile. Tesa looked at Ariella in disbelief.
“The Darwin Company cannot be bought by you unless the company is bankrupt.” replied Tesa. Ariella nodded that she had expected Darwin corp would not be sold because Andrew's company was successful because Mederick planted a stake there. Wait, there he is.
“Do aunts know who is the owner of Darwin Corp?” Ask Ariella
“After me besides the Darwin family, Mr. Mederick also has a stake in the company” Tesa replied. Ariella widened her smile, the plan would be much easier if Mederick helped her.
“Shopping” Ella replied, she stared back at tesa tesa “Aibi, please accompany me shopping yaa” Welcome
“Good miss”
Ariella walks out followed by Tesa. The middle-aged woman walked right behind him keeping a distance between the superiors and subordinates.
“Walk next to me aunt. I don't know where the exit is” Ariella smiled faintly as Tesa advanced and equalized their steps. A white Porsche parked in the front yard. Ariella's steps stopped, she looked at Tesa asking for an explanation
“Master prepared it for nona” Tesa said. Ariella nodded indifferently and got into the car, followed by Tesa sitting next to her at Ariella's behest.
They arrived at a mall, Ariella sighed then glanced right in annoyance.
“What will they keep coming?” said Ariella, those in question are 3 sturdy people in black clothes complete with sunglasses that attract the attention of people around.
“They will follow where the miss went.”
Ariella did not expect her life to be like this, being escorted like a prisoner by those people. After all, no one knows that she is now the wife of Mederick Winston except for the family and colleagues that Ariella will not even meet.
“You can go, we will go to”, Ariella told one of the men in black.
“Sorry our mistress just executed the order of tuan” replied one of the bodyguards. Ariella took her phone in the bag. He called Mederick, the man's first ringing immediately answered him
“Can you tell these bodyguards to go” decak Ariella
“Let them escort you” replied Mederick. The man was in a meeting, but when he saw Ariella calling him without thinking he raised it without caring for his subordinates who stared in disbelief at their boss who always used the silver mask. The presentation stopped when Menderick spoke to someone on the phone.
“I'm worried, der..” Ariella's voice sounds soft in Mederick's ear. The man smiled faintly as he liked when Ariella called him that. In reality, Ariella refrains from cursing the man for treating him like a prisoner.
“You're with Tesa?” ask Mederick
“Yes. So can you tell your bodyguard to go!” Ariella's voice was slightly raised, Mederick laughed softly
“Good. They can go”
Ariella smiled with satisfaction. He looked at the three men in black.
“Listen! Go, I'll go inside with aunt Tesa” said Ariella
“Thanks der, see you tonight”
“Hmm...” Mederick was upset when Ariella turned off her phone unilaterally. He stared at the quiet meeting room. It was not that no one was but that no one spoke or moved when they felt resentment from their boss.
“Rapat finished” Mederick got up leaving the meeting room to his study. He removed the silver mask that had covered part of his face since morning and stared at the monitor which displayed a report from Ezel. Seringain wide engraved on his lips.
Mederick looked at the circular watch on his right wrist and stood in front of a glass-lined wall, staring at a Washington street lined with skyscrapers. His gaze was shifted on the ring that was coiled on his ring finger. He smiled when he remembered the woman who put this ring on him.
“’I’m aready miss you”
