95. Laura's sick

For several days, Laura's condition has not improved. In fact, again he did not follow the activities of the assembly and absent from college. Rosyidah came back to see him in the room.

Laura was asleep with a blanket covering her entire body. Rosyidah put her hand on Laura.

"It's hot." he sighed.

Seeing Laura's increasingly alarming state made her pity. Rosyidah rushes back down to meet Laura's parents and informs Laura of her condition. So his parents took the initiative to take him to the hospital.

Initially Laura also insisted to stay at home alone, but her increasingly limp body made him no longer able to fight.

"Reyhan, hurry up and hold Laura! We have to take him to the hospital immediately." said Mr. Atmaja who was very panicked, as well as Ms. Ani.

Rosyidah and Reyhan exchanged a glance. Somehow Rosyidah's heart felt pain when Mr. Atmaja told Reyhan to do it.

After Rosyidah rearranged her heart, she nodded and immediately entered the car, sitting in front. Because that's the only place left.

The car drove at high speed, so that it immediately arrived at the intended hospital. Everyone was silent to each other's feelings. And it seemed like Reyhan's feelings of anxiety and worry were very clearly visible on his face and attitude at the moment. Until Ani scolds him.

"Reyhan, please slow down a little bit. Mama was so scared."

"Eh, i_iya ma." nervously Reyhan replied. Rosyidah also looked at Reyhan who still looked worried.

Finally, the car arrived at the hospital. And Reyhan held Laura back until the officer came to bring a push-in gurney. Rushing the guard doctor immediately did an examination.

"Where's the condition doc?" they simultaneously asked and seriously looked at the doctor.

"It looks like the stomach acid is rising. But I'll do a check-up later. Sister try to take a sample of her blood first." the young doctor said.

Since then, Reyhan sat near Mr. Atmaja, while Rosyidah sat near Ani's mother. All fell silent while waiting for the results of his test, who did not know when it would come out. On one hand Reyhan wanted to wait until Laura opened her eyes, but on the one hand she had an obligation to drive Rosyidah home.

"Mom, may Laura get well soon. I'm sorry I can't wait here long." Rosyidah said goodbye to Ani. Bu Ani thanked and guaranteed the Rosyidah prayer. After that, Rosyidah also said goodbye to Mr. Atmaja. Reyhan finally got up and said goodbye to take Rosyidah home. After that, he promised to go back to the hospital again. But, Ani's mom forbid it because it was late at night.

For 4 days Laura lay in the hospital. He tried to contact Choki, hoping that his lover would visit him for a while. But Choki didn't show his nose. Messages from Laura were often too late to reply. Sometimes Laura felt annoyed with him, but when she met him, all her feelings immediately disappeared.

During the hospital, Rosyidah continued to visit Laura. Initially Laura was embarrassed for not wearing a hijab, but Rosyidah did not touch her, so finally Laura looked relaxed. During his visit, Rosyidah told a lot of stories and taught some things about religious science. Laura was seen taking Rosyidah seriously. And that could take Laura's mind off of Choki a little.

"Alhamdulillah, you are finally allowed to go home as well" said Rosyidah when the doctor told her that Laura was allowed to go home today.

Rosyidah helps Laura pack her things. Because Mr. Atmaja had to go to the showroom to check. While Ani's mother had just come home, her body was also not good because of lack of rest while waiting for Laura to get sick.

"Assalamualaik." Reyhan had suddenly appeared before them. Rosyidah immediately turned to the origin of the voice while answering her greetings. While Laura still sat leaning with a flat face without answering Reyhan's greetings.

"Alhamdulillah mas, mbak Laura has been allowed to go home." Rosyidah tells Reyhan the good news, and he approaches them immediately.

"Miss Laura is healthy?" reyhan asked, and Laura nodded.

"Why did you just come to see me?" laura's spoiled demeanor started to look, and it made Reyhan relieved. That's a sign that he's completely healed.

"I'm sorry, I just got home from a seminar in Bandung, straight here. I brought something for you." Reyhan handed over the pink paper bag, and Laura immediately opened it. Again Reyhan bought him a set of gamis and mukena from a well-known brand. Laura looks happy to accept it but in her heart she does not know when she can always wear it.

From earlier Rosyidah continued to pay attention to both, even both of them like forgetting the presence of Rosyidah there.

'What kind of fraternal relationship do they mean? Looks like I'll have to find out. Why does Reyhan always call Laura Miss?'s mother?' inner Rosyidah.

"Oh yes, Miss Rosyidah, title Miss Laura first yes. I want to finish the administration." After saying goodbye, Reyhan rushed out.

'Did I look so happy when I was near Reyhan? Rosyidah could say that. Since when did I become Reyhan's brother?' inner Laura. He was forced to nod because he did not know what to answer.

"Please dong mbak, explained to me, actually mas Reyhan is his son uncle or om mbak Laura?" rosyidah looks excited to find information about Reyhan.

'What kind of question is that? Why ask for details? Is he a census officer?' Laura was upset by Rosyidah's unreasonable question.
