That morning, the mothers were preparing to do medical check-ups after giving birth. After making sure no one was left behind, they set out with each other by their husbands.
Their baby is also seen in his mother's arms.
Traveling for about 30 minutes, they reached the hospital, where they gave birth first.
Arriving at the parking lot, they immediately got down from their respective cars. And, for a moment their eyes clashed with each other, then a smile spread across each other's faces.
They did not expect, after giving birth together, finally reunited again.
Of course they shake hands with each other and embrace to let go of the longing that is blowing.
Husbands do the same. They are very happy, if they see their wife happy.
After a moment of letting go of longing, they walked together towards the examination room. Husbands took queue numbers, while mothers sat in waiting chairs talking.
They seemed enthusiastic about telling the growth and development of the baby. So do the fathers, do the same as his wife.
Laughter encompasses every conversation. So without them knowing their queue numbers one by one called.
Laura moved from her seat, accompanied by Reyhan. Both of them entered the examination room.
A middle-aged female doctor greeted them with a warm smile, then allowed the two to sit down.
"We started to check on his sister first, ma'am" said the doctor. He moved closer to the handsome baby in Laura's arms.
"Please put his sister to bed in the gurney first, to facilitate the examination."
"Good Mom."
Laura immediately stood in the company of Reyhan. Carefully she placed the baby. The doctor approached King Salman, then performed a series of examinations.
Reyhan and Laura seemed to take seriously what the doctor was doing.
"Alhamdulillah, the condition of his grandfather is quite good. There was no sign of jaundice" the doctor said. Then he switched to putting King Salman in the weighing spot.
"His body weight also goes up, ma'am. Very good progress."
"Alhamdulillah." said husband and wife compact. Smiles spread across both faces.
"Didaknya also consume formula milk?"
"No ma'am. Thank God I am abundant."
"Hem, that's great. Asi is the best food for babies. All nutrients are already present in the body. Before 6 months, it should not be given other complementary foods."
"Good ma'am. His advice will try to do us well." Laura replied.
The doctor replied with a smile. Then, ask Reyhan to hold the baby. Because he's gonna check on Laura's condition.
Reyhan also carried out the doctor's order, he carried the baby using a rag. It looks like he's very flexible carrying. Even the doctor smiled at him.
"Looks like you've been really trained huh." chuckled the doctor.
"Where not trained doc, my baby has always been a material struggle for husband and family. I'm just part of the breastfeed" said Laura innocently. That made the doctor chuckle.
"It must be the mother's first grandchild, so it's always a matter of contention." guessed the doctor, and Laura nodded her head in agreement.
After he stopped laughing, the doctor began to do an examination. She told Laura to lift her legs. He pointed the lamp towards his birth canal. So that he can look carefully.
"Is it still painful?" the doctor asked, pressing a certain part of Laura's body, and the woman shook her head.
"In shaa Allah tried doc. Hopefully not khilaf." Reyhan replied while chuckling anyway.
A series of medical check-ups were completed. Laura and her baby are healthy. They also immediately left the room.
"We talked to them again yuk mas." asked Laura, Reyhan nodded in agreement. Both of them approached their best friend.
When Laura rejoins them, Anisa is called. Hurry he and Bayu into the room.
Laura and Reyhan were chatting again. It lasted until they all finished the examination.
And, they are very grateful, when the mother and baby are declared healthy.
"We had lunch outside?" bring Laura.
Without many words, they all nodded in agreement with Laura's invitation. Keeping careful, they walked towards the car park.
Their four-wheeled vehicle drove out of the hospital courtyard, heading to a nearby restaurant.
Just a 15-minute journey, finally Reyhan's car entered a restaurant in the style of ethnic Javanese, followed by his best friend's car.
They got out of the car, and scanned the surroundings. Which looks beautiful and cool, because it is filled with large and shady trees.
"Come, go inside. Find the most comfortable seat." take Reyhan vigorously.
"Come, if the matter of eating mah, do not need to be torn apart." replied Andre while chuckling.
"We're just sitting in that saung. The place looks spacious and shady."
Bayu pointed to the saung on the left of the restaurant. The place does look quite spacious and cool.
"Okay, I agree." Reply to the others.
They also walked in tandem towards the intended saung. Shortly after they sat down comfortably, a waiter approached them with a menu book.
They take turns looking at the menu list, then mention the order to the waiter. And, while waiting for the order to be ready, of course they take advantage of the time to have a conversation.
I don't know, even though the time provided is quite a lot, in fact they also do not stop telling stories. There are only interesting things that they discuss, and made into joke material.
They stopped telling stories for a moment, when the order came.
"Thank you mbak." said they compactly, at the waiter who just presented a variety of menu orders.
It looks like they're starting to taste the food that looks pretty good. Slowly but surely the dishes served are not left out.
"It seems, taking care of the baby is indeed draining energy. In fact, we can spend all the dishes, until it is not left." Bayu chirped.
Everyone chuckled with the expression of his heart. Of course he is very tired, because it takes care of 2 very small babies. In addition, his own work, and the efforts of his in-laws were handed over to him. It is natural to complain tired.
"Neverything, now busy and bothered. Later if our children are grown, surely we will miss this hassle. Really no?" Andre Timpal.
Everyone nodded in agreement.
"I really hope that our friendship will never break. Even though we're old." Reyhan suggested.
"Yes, I agree. In fact, if we can go anywhere, take our children. So that they know each other. Let them be friends too, just like us." added Adam.
"Yes, that's a good idea. For whoever connects the cord of friendship is equal to the connecting of goodness, bringing sustenance closer. And whosoever breaks the peace of faith, is as if he cut off the good from Him, and constricts his provision."
"It's really ustadz" they said compactly, responding to Reyhan's remarks. Inviting their laughter.
