The Sun God's Anger

“Ellio!”

A voice blaring up there. Ellio slumped to the point of almost laying on the cloud floor.

“How can you be so careless! You're finishing up our supply of sunflower powder! You want sunflowers extinct from the earth, huh?!?” Apolo the Sun God cried with anger.

“I didn't spend it!” Ellio answered loudly. “I did take it, but I didn't spend it.” Ellio continued, still defending himself.

“You spent the stock for the year, Ellio! And not just once! If you repeat, in the next few months we will lose sunflower seeds. No more generations of sunflowers will grow on earth!” Apolo again.

“I'll be in charge! I'll talk to the flowers, they'll produce more powder! We won't lose the Sunflower!” Excite Ellio again.

The Sun God slammed his scepter of greatness, he was really angry because Ellio kept denying it. All the fairies in front of him, suddenly fell in fear, including Ellio.

“Not because you are a Sunflower Fairy, you can force those flowers to produce more! We work together in the ecosystem, you have to pay attention to the survival of the creatures that are your responsibility. The ecosystem will be disrupted, sunflowers will slowly become rare! How dare you disrupt the world's ecosystems!” Apolo's voice boomed again.

“Please God, I need that flower powder,” said weak Ellio, “Someone..”.

“No need for you to tell me your reason, I already know!” Not done yet Ellio spoke, Apolo had already cut him off. “I won't forget why you got here! You found it, right? Because of a human child, you sacrificed our ecosystem?!” Apolo snapped again, making Ellio look down. He didn't think Apolo would be that angry.

Korea, the 800s

Jung Yun slept coiled on the couch of his hut. The ten-year-old boy shivered in coldness while hugging his stomach. He starved.

This winter, his parents should serve their meat. Meat is very useful for warming their bodies. But let alone bring meat; rice, wheat, bread and vegetables are rarely taken home by his parents. Maybe because all the heads of the family in their village are increasingly diligent hunting so that the number of meat animals in their forest is reduced a lot. And the Jung family was too poor to buy meat. At most his father could bring home a little rice or wheat from his bartering with firewood.

Everyday Jung Yun's father could still grow vegetables in the small yard of their house, but the plants died in the cold season like this. As a result, this family often lacks food in the winter.

“Noona, looking for who?” Jung Yun asked politely.

“What are your parents there?” Ask the woman.

Jung Yun shook his head. “They are looking for food and have not returned.” He said slowly while stroking his stomach that was sick from hunger.

“You hungry?” Ask the woman.

Not yet had time for Jung Yun to answer, the woman lowered her head and picked up a handful of snow, then walked into the simple hut of the Jung family.

The woman immediately stepped into the kitchen. With a handful of snow he brought, he prepared a pot and firewood. Then he grabbed the bag he was carrying, took out the leaves from his bag. Jung Yun's eyes widened, only to realize that the woman was carrying a bag containing many leaves of a type of vegetable.

The woman immediately processed the leaves with simple tools and spices in the kitchen, into a menu that aromatic appetizing. Jung Yun's eyes did not escape from the woman as long as she processed food.

“Eat.” The woman placed the vegetables on the plate in front of Jung Yun. Without hesitation, Jung Yun immediately grabbed it and devoured it. The woman sat before Jung Yun as long as Jung Yun ate, looking at him with a smile.

The warm taste of the vegetable immediately spread from the mouth to the stomach of Jung Yun. Over time his body began to warm, he did not shiver cold anymore. His cheeks also began to meet red.

Jung Yun looked at the woman with gratitude.

“Thank you, Noona.” Jung Yun said as he lowered his head, then he smiled.

“You're full? The vegetables are not finished.” The woman pointed at the pot that still contained vegetables.

Jung Yun shook his head.

“Dad and Mom haven't come home yet, they're still looking for food. I didn't know if they were getting food or not. So, that vegetable is for my Dad and my mom, Noona. For me it is enough.” Jung Yun said slowly.

The woman smiled as she stroked Jung Yun's head.

“You are a very good boy. Never thought of your own interests. Accept this,” the woman thrusts a small bag of grain. “Eplant this when before winter, it will grow during winter and can meet the needs of your family's meals. If later your plants grow, take the seeds for you to plant when the next winter.” Add the woman again.

“Noona should go.” The woman moved from her seat. “Keep being a good boy, devote yourself to your parents.” He stroked Jung Yun's head again.

The woman shook her head while smiling. “Noona time is up, do not forget to order Noona yes?” Said again.

Jung Yun had to nod. “Alright Noona, thank you for Noona being so kind to me. May I know the name Noona?”

“Call me Melva.” The woman replied as she walked out of the Jung family hut, then she waved her hand. “Goodbye Jung Yun, be a good boy!” Exclaims.

Jung Yun was shocked. Noona knows my name? I haven't even told you my name yet!

But not yet had Jung Yun shout towards Melva, a large snow wind blew until Jung Yun was forced to turn his face. By the time he looked towards Melva again, Melva had already vanished.

Since then, Jung Yun has never met Melva again even though she was looking forward to it.

Jung Yun passed away at the age of 99 with a longing for Melva.

In the afterlife, he experienced a trial that considered between the virtues and the evils he committed during his life.

In the trial, Jung Yun several times begged the gods to be able to bring him together with Melva. She felt indebted to Melva during her lifetime, as Melva had helped Jung Yun's family during the winter.

The gods could not grant his request. Jung Yun was only asked to serve his sentence for a while for a crime he had committed, after which he would be reborn.

Jung Yun preached to the God of Justice, he pleaded with all his heart. Even making an offer to the God of Justice, he was willing not to be reborn as long as the God allowed him to meet again with Melva. This determination of Jung Yun's heart made the God reconsider his decision.

After discussing with the other gods, it was finally decided Jung Yun would not be born again in the world. He was assigned to be a sunflower fairy, because the old fairy had finished her service. Jung Yun must manage the spread and number of sunflowers in the world, keep its existence in the world until it is not extinct and is in the balance of nature. Jung Yun is in charge of Apolo, the Sun God. Jung Yun's name was changed to Elios/Elio (sun).

The gods didn't tell Ellio about Melva's whereabouts. But by watching the sunflowers scattered around the world, Ellio can watch over every human being, people. He can investigate the person's lifeline from the moment he is born, even on their previous lives.

Thousands of years Ellio has gone by doing his job. He traveled from one country to another, carrying out his duties while watching over the humans. Many were investigated, but none of them whose past was Melva.

Until one day, he who was in the mountains saw an accident experienced by a girl. A girl who ended up suffering from a disability due to the accident, as most of her brain cells died. And to his attention, the girl needed sunflower powder for his treatment. And the existence of the powder was under his power.

Ellio watched over the six-year-old. He investigated, but the boy's past was dark, he could not see it. A rare occurrence, usually easily Ellio can see a person's past.

Ellio asks Apolo for help. Apolo considered many things before granting Ellio's request.

While continuing to pay attention to the development of the child's condition, Ellio continued to beg Apolo. Ellio sees the child's condition as not improving and sometimes deteriorating, as his family is unable to provide the treatment the child needs.

With the consideration and policy of Apolo, finally the God of Nature Baka told him the secret. The secret to the history of the girl's rebirth was quite surprising to Apolo.

Her name was Elaine. In the early days of his creation, his soul was born from a drop of honey that came from a flower in the autumn. From that drop of honey, she grew up and was destined to become a flower fairy named Melva. However, due to one of his actions that was considered a sin or grave mistake, Melva was put to death. What kind of mistake, how long the punishment period and what punishment is lived, this secret is kept tightly by the God of Nature Baka and Apolo.

Finally Apolo just told Ellio, that in the end Elaine who is currently supervised by Ellio is true Melva in the past.

Ellio's determination to help Elaine is flared up after learning Elaine is Melva in the past. From then on, Ellio takes a closer look at Elaine and looks for an opportunity to get to know Elaine. To that end, Ellio was transformed into a ten-year-old boy.

Ellio is increasingly trying to repay his bud to Melva through Elaine. Melva saved her life and her family, and now Ellio is determined to save Elaine's life.

Ellio's tears had flowed, with her eyes mirrored the face of Elaine who was crying behind her parents, hiding her sadness and pain. Also the face of Elaine who pretended to laugh happily. Then his hopeless face, who asked God to pick him up immediately. “Let me help her and give me a chance to return the favor to her.”

“By endangering the world?” Cynical Apolo.

“I will not harm the world, I promise!” Excite Ellio again. “You can punish me if..”.

“It was too late!” Cut Apolo. “The world that has been destroyed, and you just become sea foam? It's so good you don't feel the destruction of the world!” Apolo again.

Ellio lowered his head again. He thought hard, what should he do so that Apolo can agree what request. What offers are interesting for Apolo?

Apolo watched Ellio, in his heart growing compassion. He knew Ellio's struggle for thousands of years to find Elaine, and during his tenure for thousands of years Ellio had never done anything wrong.

“I've made a decision.” Apolo finally said. Ellio raised his head, waiting for what Apolo would say.

“You can help the girl. I'll keep an eye on you. You have to report every time you take the powder, how much you take and how much is left.” Further.

Ellio nodded his head. He was very happy and grateful to hear the policies of Apolo. Ellio promised to take the powder wisely so that later did not disappoint Apolo who had given him a chance.
