Women of Choice
Gratitude

***

From yesterday afternoon Resty was just lying in bed. The peak last night his body felt crumpled with a high fever and severe vomiting.

"Drink warm sweet tea first, yes, after this breakfast." While offering a glass of sweet tea Hanif said softly to the wife.

"But my mouth feels bitter, Mas, afraid to vomit again later if filled with drinks or food," refused Resty hesitated.

"Try it first, than the stomach is empty later even worse how?" hanif said as his burly hands helped wake his wife from the bed.

After being forced a little, Resty finally drank a few sips of warm tea made by her husband.

"What if Mas find chicken porridge first at the base for breakfast? Mas sama Diva later breakfast fried rice. It's okay, if Mas stays for a while?" ask Hanif for his wife's approval.

"Yes, it's up to Mas" replied Resty.

"Wait a minute, honey," he said, kissing the tip of the head of the woman he loved was gentle.

"Ayaah .. I want a pup, cried Diva from the living room who had been engrossed in her favorite cartoon spectacle.

" Yes, first open the pants .... !" answer Hanif.

A few minutes later, the sound of her daughter's crashing again came from the bathroom.

"Mr .... !"

"Yes, wait a minute, yeah." Hanif delayed the job of rinsing laundry.

"I'm taking a shower, aren't I, Dad?" pinta the 3-year-old boy later.

While Resty can only eavesdrop on the conversation between the father and son from behind the room without being able to do anything. Because his head is heavy even though it is only carried around a little.

After washing and drying clothes, Hanif then immediately washed dishes and kitchen utensils.

Today, the man who works in a private school as an honorary energy must go to work. But, because he saw the condition of the wife like that he chose to ask permission to take care of the sick wife and Diva who still needed care.

From the bottom of his heart, Resty gave infinite thanks to the Great One with all the blessings he had obtained. Because she often heard curses from her friends if they were sick, her husband never wanted to touch the housework until the wife was healthy again. While Resty himself never felt like that because Hanif, the husband without being asked to always help him in any situation.

Entering the time Zuhur Hanif can only rest after all the homework is completed one by one.

"Mama ... later Diva wants to bring this printed toy to the beach, huh? Let me play sand there later," Diva said as Resty was busy preparing lunch.

While Diva is engrossed with her favorite cooking toys.

"Yes, later Diva said it used to be the same father if Diva wanted to play on the beach, yes," replied Resty while arranging dishes and spoons at the dinner table.

Shortly afterwards, the roar of Hanif's motorbike entered the courtyard.

"Russia ... Dad's home, Dad's home .... !" Diva soars excited to see her father come home.

"Dad, Diva's going to the beach tomorrow morning with these prints, yeah, Dad, okay?" the cerocosnya did not care that his father had just come in a tired condition.

"May dong, dear ... tomorrow, right, Father's Sunday is off, so you can play all day with Diva and Mama too." Hanif bred the request of the baby while carrying it with a bag that is still on the back.

Resty approached the husband and kissed the back of his hand reverently.

"Dad want to pray what will you eat first?" tanyanya, give a choice.

"Have a meal, I prayed at the musala at work before going home."

"Aci ... Yeah! he said he was going to the beach this morning, so no?" The newly awakened Diva immediately charged what the father had promised yesterday.

"Try asking Mama first, can we not now go to the beach? Kan, Mama was sick yesterday."

"Mama, so right?" yelled Diva running towards Resty who was busy in the kitchen.

While Resty was busy with kitchen affairs, Hanif took his daughter's bath and put on clothes, and prepared other equipment to be brought. Once all is ready they go to the destination which only takes fifteen minutes of travel using two wheels.

Hanif rolled out a mat brought from home. They also started breakfast in the wild accompanied by the waves and the warmth of the morning sun.

After satisfied playing sand and sea water Resty took home the baby and her husband because the sun had begun to rise.

Arriving at the house Resty immediately greeted Mbak Minem, a regular greengrocer in front of the house for daily shopping, and, after choosing some vegetables and side dishes to taste Resty began to fight with kitchen tools to prepare lunch later.

While Hanif immediately soaked dirty clothes and washed them without being asked by his wife. While the Diva is busy cycling in the front yard.

"Mas, the rice is running out to cook now, yesterday I forgot to say," said Resty to her husband who was resting while listening to the study of MTA (Majelis Tafsir Al-Qur'an) from the radio broadcast.

"Yes, later Mas buy first to the stall," he said while standing and then snatched the key of the motorbike at the table.

"Yes, Mas, you guys buy onions and salt too, yes, I forgot to buy in the vegetable basket," Resty's pinta.

"Yes, is there anything you want to buy again?" ask Hanif to make sure.

"That's enough, Mom"

The next day as usual Resty joined with other mothers when the vegetable basket roving in front of the house.

Suddenly Bu Sumi spoke with a loud voice addressed to Resty.

"Eh, Mama Diva tumben shopping here, did not tell her husband to shop for onions to stalls again, huh?" his insinuation glanced cynically at Resty.

"I usually shop here, too, Mom. Yeah, right, Bi Minem?" resty replied while asking his subscription vegetable basket.

Bi Minem nodded his head while smiling kindly as Resty asked a question.

"Yesterday, really, I saw his father Diva buy onions at the front stall," said Bu Sumi Ketus.

After paying for all the groceries, Resty hurriedly said goodbye. Strange looks from other mothers.

Arriving at home, while cooking Resty continued to think about what Bu Sumi said earlier as if cornered her in front of other mothers.

"Mas, I'm sorry that I've been wrong and humiliating you all this time" Resty told Hanif.

Hanif tied his two thick eyebrows together and asked, "You mean Mama? Why, why, all of a sudden apologize?"

"Last noon vegetable shopping, Miss Sumi negur I because Mas yesterday bought rice and onions at the stall." Resty expressed the grunts that from the afternoon he harbored.

Hanif grabbed the wife's palm and held it tightly. "Keep Adek sad with the words of Bu Sumi earlier?" His stern eyes looked at the wife.

"Yes, Mom, I keep thinking until now."

"This is a husband. What is wrong if the husband helps his wife. After all, when a husband goes to a stall to buy rice and onions, it's not a disgrace to the husband, really." The sturdy man expressed his opinion at length.

"But ... Mas, I'm ashamed .... "

His sturdy hand grabbed the wife's head slowly towards the chest of her field.

"From now on there is no need to be horrified and respond to people's speech as long as our attitude never harms and disturbs the person himself," he said wisely.

Hearing the words from his man, Resty's heart felt at ease. So far the attitude, and the words so unpretentious of a husband figure like Hanif enough to make him feel the luckiest woman in the world because it has a partner who is always on standby to keep his soul and body.

Now Resty realized. There is no reason to keep complaining and always feel the most pain because it is only the talk of others who do not like him. Because on the other hand, God has given him extraordinary favors by having a husband who is good at glorifying wives.

Resty did not want his heart anxiety to continue prolonged just because he heard comments that are not good from others that actually make it a delicious kufur. Nauzubillahimindrealik. Resty had heard and read in a verse of the Qur'an which means:

“Therefore, remember you to Me I will remember (after all) you, and give thanks to Me, and do not disavow (mis) Me,” (QS Al-Baqarah: 152).

Now Resty realizes life with gratitude is much better and happier. The woman learned to pay attention to the ears from the negative speech of those around her who only interfere with her mental health.
