I failed, Dave!

Alena nodded her head and walked out followed by Sandra. He was worried and his heart was not good. Varisa was her patient since the age of the child was 2 years old. The child was closer to her than to her parents because they were both busy working. He loved the boy without any reward. All he wants is for Varisa to recover and live a normal life. He did not expect that his condition would immediately decline without any signs.

While on the road, Alena was more silent. He lowered his head to look at every minute of the ICU monitor change Sister Ana gave him. Sandra turned to Alena because she was more silent. He just stared at the phone screen.

"Al, did you hear Dave's words?"ask Sandra suddenly.

"No." Answer Alena slowly. Deep in his heart he felt uncomfortable when he heard Dave's words earlier when he was eating. He realized that he was only his 2-month lover. Not more. He can't use his heart for 2 months.

Dave looked at Calvin's laptop carefully. Sometimes he was worried about Alena. When he left earlier, his facial water made Dave uncomfortable. Suddenly Edward gets a video call from Mr. Pichaya's. He walked into Dave's room and closed it. Calvin and Dave looked at me. They were worried about both women.

"Call Vin, they're not at the hospital yet? How's Alena doing?" ask Dave.

"We're leaving tomorrow morning." Said Edward suddenly

"Where?" Ask Calvin.

"Thai. We'll meet tomorrow with the Thai government and then proceed to New York to meet the parties there who want to invest." Edward replied calmly. He smiled at the sumringah. He didn't expect it to be that fast.

Elsewhere

Alena ran when she just got to the hospital. He even forgot that Sandra was the one who delivered. He had to quickly look at Varisa. When he arrived in front of the ICU, the parents of Varisa immediately approached Alena.

"Where is the doctor! He said Varisa could be cured. Why is it critical now?" ask Varisa's father furiously.

"Yes pa, sorry I haven't seen. I want to look inside." replied Alena trying to calm down the parents of Varisa.

"Doc!" call Sister Ana. He had brought his doctor's robe and mask.

"Excuse me.." said Alena while running.

He went into the ICU room. He looked at the documents to read some of the actions he had taken.

"Red blood cells keep dropping. His heart is starting to weaken."

"Varisa baby, where's your promise to heal?" he said while crying. He saw his heart indicator was getting weaker. "Call her parents, sister" said Alena behind her mask. He kept shedding tears.

Both of his parents were screaming in fear.

"Varisa's! remember your promise with Auntie. You want to heal!" jerit Alena ignored the doctor's code of conduct. Varisa is his little friend. He loved that beautiful girl too much.

"Doctor, just doc!" said Doctor Adrian who arrived there. He held Alena's shoulder.

"Varisa!!!" his parents shouted when he saw the nurse was taking off the equipment on the little girl's body. Adrian's doctor pulls Alena away and gives her family freedom at the last minute.

Dave got up from his seat and brought his jacket. He felt bad. Don't forget he took the car keys and his phone.

"Where?"calvin asked when he saw Dave leaving.

"Find the wind." Answer Dave short

Edward laughs. "When you don't know the vin, it's definitely nyamperin Alena to say goodbye. There's no way we're going to New York for just a night's." Edward obviously.

Dave didn't listen because he was out of the apartment. He took the car to Alena's house. He wanted to see her to make sure she was okay. When he arrived, he saw his house was empty. It was almost midnight, but Alena had said that she never turned off the lights of her house even while sleeping. He tried to contact her but was not picked up.

Dave remembers that Alena was taken by Sandra to the hospital. But it's midnight like this, is it possible that Alena hasn't come home?

Without thinking, he took his car to the hospital. As her car approached the main door of the hospital, she saw Alena walking out of the hospital with a sad face. He parked his car not far and ran to Alena.

"Al, what's wrong?"ask Dave worriedly. When there is no answer, Dave immediately turns Alena's body in front of him.

Alena looked beaten. He still wears his doctor's robe. But his face looked in pain. Both of his eyes were filled with deep sadness.

"Al, why?" Jerky Dave.

He nodded and looked at Dave. He tried to endure his sadness. But when Dave takes her by the side, Alena's cry breaks.

"I failed, Dave. I failed to save Varisa" he said. Cry broke.

Dave stroked Alena's hair and hugged her tightly.
