“Don't just shut up. In the real fight, you won't have time to be silent like this.” Said Dirga who reappeared beside Galih.
“Dirga, I did not expect our power difference so far. How can I win if to see your movement only I can't.” Galih.
“You're wrong. Our power difference is actually not too far.” Answer Dirga.
“The thing that makes us different is only one. I'm sure I won with the ability I have. You are even intimidated. You are used to making plans to anticipate everything, so you are less tactical to adapt in a fight. Though the ability you have is also no less awesome.” Added.
“Then what should I do?” Ask Galih.
“You include intelligent and careful people, find answers to your own questions.” Answer Dirga.
Galih fell silent as he thought of a plan to face an opponent he could not even touch.
“Look, the speed will I reduce to the limit you can see the movement I do. That way your intuition will be trained and get used to fast tempo fights. I won't use kerambit either. I'll fight with my bare hands.” Said Dirga who saw Galih bewildered.
“What should get that far?” Ask Galih.
“We are training, not fighting. Don't expect me to do that in a real fight.” Dirga replied with a smile to maintain Galih's self-esteem.
“Come we start again.” Sahut Galih with spirit.
Train them back to do. Galih took the initiative of the first attack and slashed out the Rapier Sword to attack Dirga. Dirga only made small steps to dodge the attack.
Seeing that his attack had failed, Galih slashed his sword again. He made many slashes at once with a faster tempo. Dirga still has not put up a fight. Dirga only made small steps to dodge all of those attacks.
Galih was surprised to see that Dirga was able to dodge all of his attacks very easily.
“Now it's my turn.” Said Dirga while running fast towards Galih.
Now Galih can see the movements made by Dirga. He continuously made quick slashes to take down the running Dirga. But unfortunately, Dirga was able to dodge all of those attacks even while running at high speed.
“Try this punch.” Shouted Dirga who threw a punch towards Galih's left shoulder. Galih tried to defend using the shield he held, only that the blow Dirga made was faster than the reaction Galih made. So that his punch hit right on Galih's left shoulder.
The punch was very strong. A calibre that had incredible endurance until it fell down when it received the punch. His armor did not show any signs of damage, but Galih felt excruciating pain.
Dirga returned to attack. This time his leg kicks right into Galih's abdomen. Again Dirga showed incredible strength. The kick made Galih bounce far back to roll on the ground.
Galih groaned in pain from the two attacks Dirga made.
“What happened? This armour is not damaged at all, but why does it still hurt so much?” Thought Galih who was confused.
“You know what is energy resonance?” Ask Dirga.
“Resonance?” Switch jerking.
“So I didn't just attack. I'm doing energy manipulation that can change the vibration of the opponent's energy. The punch and kick were just triggers. The real attack comes from your own energy. I gave a slight vibration to the energy of the armor so that the energy that was supposed to protect you turned around to injure you. It was the resonance effect that was caused. This technique is very useful to face opponents with a defensive style like you.” Dirga.
“Crazy, this guy is on a different level.” Thought Galih.
“Come we continue.” Said Dirga while extending his hand to help Galih stand up.
“I don't mean to brag. I just want you to understand that the defense that you are proud of will not be of much use if you face opponents who have various tricks to weaken your defense. You must have several variations of attack and defense to be able to excel in a fight.” Dirga.
“Thank you Dirga. But I'm curious about one thing, what are the benefits of this match practice for you? You have excelled in almost every aspect. I got a lot of new knowledge and experience, whereas you didn't get any.” Ask Galih.
“First, I have poor stamina and endurance. Fighting is the best exercise to increase the stamina and physical endurance I have. Second, the more fights we do, the more experience we will get. Third, I remembered Rama's words when we first arrived at this mansion.” Answer Dirga.
“What is it?” Ask Galih curious.
“Are we not a team?” Said Dirga with a proud smile on his face.
Altering jolted and moved by Dirga's words. It re-energized his spirit and motivated him to become stronger.
“This guy looks really cold. But it turns out to be full of warmth and cares deeply about his teammates.” Thought Galih.
“You are absolutely right. Let's continue.” Said Galih enthusiastically.
“This time the match training pattern will be changed. Two more days you'll do the exercises in the first area, right? Now we will train close combat capabilities and increase your attack speed.” Dirga.
“First, we train your attacking speed first. I will run randomly, try to at least follow the movements I do. Take it easy, I will adjust my own speed so that you can keep up. While running after me, try to slash your sword. Don't use long-range attacks like that, but just hit it off. Imagine I am your enemy. We will do this until you get used to using the sword while it is moving quickly.” Dirga.
Then Dirga ran randomly at low speed. Galih immediately followed wherever Dirga moved while continuing to swing his sword.
Not long after, Dirga increased the speed. Galih can still follow him. Dirga again accelerated his run and Galih still continued to follow Dirga. But this time, Galih was having a hard time. The distance between the two of them slowly drifted away.
“What is this limited to your ability?” Ask Dirga while running.
Those words sparked Galih's spirit. He poured more energy into his legs and accelerated his speed. Dirga smiled as he saw Galih being able to follow him, albeit with great difficulty.
“Now can you still follow?” Dirga asked as he sped up his run.
Galih again tries to cross the limits of his ability. He did not want to disappoint Dirga who had been willing to help him train. Until finally Galih was able to follow the speed of Dirga. They continued to run until Dirga suddenly disappeared from view and appeared behind Galih.
“Stop.” Dirga says briefly.
“Now you need to train close combat capabilities. I'm gonna throw this kerambit at you. Don't dodge, and don't use a shield to defend. You must avenge this flurry of attacks using your sword.” Dirga.
“This exercise will improve your fighting instinct.” Reciprocity.
“I understand.” Answer the brief.
Dirga walked away and prepared to throw his kerambit. He tried to throw one kerambit towards Galih.
“Sial, the kerambit throw alone is this strong. Worth my armor until it cracks.” Thought Galih.
Then some kerambit came from different directions. Galih never thought that Dirga was able to throw kerambit with a number that is not small simultaneously.
Dirga makes the same rhythm in his kerambit throw. At first, the speed was low, and gradually increased as Galih got used to the previous speed. The training continues to do them to the limit of speed that can be received by Galih.
Shortly after the last squat was thrown. Dirga moved at the same speed while grasping the two pieces of kerambit in his hand. He attacked Galih suddenly. But this time Galih was able to anticipate the attack Dirga did, even had time to counterattack using his sword. After that, again Dirga disappeared from sight.
“I'm tired, we rest first.” Said Dirga who was leaning under the tree.
Galih is still not out of thought, how did Dirga do that. Although Galih managed to avoid Dirga's attack, but he was still unable to follow Dirga's movements which suddenly seemed to disappear.
“What technique is it? You suddenly disappear and appear in an unexpected place.” Ask Galih while walking up to Dirga.
“I just ran, but at a very high speed.” Answer Dirga.
“You are indeed crazy.” Galih.
“It looks like today's training we'll suffice it. You already have an excellent basis for close combat. Exercise in the first area will no longer be a problem.” Dirga.
“Thank you Dirga. I'm so grateful to have a team with you.” Galih said while bowing his head as an expression of his gratitude.
“Already, don't think about it. Let's break.” Dirga replied as he walked away.
The day changed….
Today Dirga will be doing exercises in the first area to improve his close range attacking ability.
Dirga is very ready to face this training. Dirga's task was to dodge all the throwing machines and destroy the three wooden puppets standing at the end of the room.
Teeeit…. Training commences.
Dirga suddenly disappeared and appeared before the three wooden dolls. The wooden puppet was unable to react properly and Dirga was able to cut the entire wooden puppet into two pieces.
The cut wooden puppet was still able to move and had now merged into a large puppet with a long sword in its hand. The puppet moved quickly towards Dirga and swung his sword. Dirga disappeared again and appeared behind the doll. With a very quick hand movement, Dirga cut the wooden doll into pieces. The attack that Dirga did made the wooden puppets no longer able to move. The training ended very quickly.
Darma was flabbergasted by what he saw.
“Great technique.” Shouted Darma.
“Dirga just ran and did a simple attack. But the speed he showed made his attack extremely deadly.” Julia Clearly.
“But unfortunately Dirga did not show all his ability.” Connect Julia.
“What do you mean?” Ask Darma.
“He could have cut the three wooden dolls into small pieces and ended the training. But he didn't do that. He hopes to have a bigger challenge. But it seems like he's a little disappointed.” Julia.
Julia's words left Darma speechless in a thousand languages.
“What training is over?” Ask Dirga to Darma and Julia. The question awakened Darma from his silence.
“You managed to complete this exercise in just a few seconds. Awesome, congratulations Dirga.” Praise Darma with great enthusiasm.
Training in the first area ended quickly. Training in the second area. Dirga successfully completed the exercise without the slightest obstacle.
Darma was again surprised by Dirga's ability. Darma did not think that Dirga was able to throw kerambit with a very large number at once. Moreover, all of the attacks Dirga had carried out were extremely accurate. Not a single target escaped his attack.
Then Darma sees Julia leaving the surveillance room in a bit of a hurry without a word.
Knowing the training had ended, Dirga went out of the room. While opening the door of the training room, Dirga was a little surprised that Julia had been standing in front of the door. Apparently Julia went to the training room of the second area to meet Dirga.
“Actually who are you?” Julia asked coldly.
“Already expected, it turns out you are still suspecting me.” Dirga replied with a cold look as well.
“Jawab was the question.” Julia.
“What is the reason for your suspicion? Why do you suspect me and not Rama who is actually filled with terrible demonic energy?” Ask Dirga.
“You should know one thing. I will never betray and hurt those I should have protected, even if I had to sacrifice my own life.”
Julia did not respond to Dirga's words in the least. Seeing the reaction Julia showed, Dirga felt a little disappointed.
“If there is nothing more you want to say, I go first.” Connect Dirga while walking away leaving Julia.
Just a few steps Dirga walked, he stopped, turned around, and looked at Julia who was also watching him.
“Raka...” Say Dirga briefly.
The name that was spoken from Dirga's mouth made Julia jerk and wide. Julia could not hide her surprise at all.
“Already expected, it turns out you know him. Although you suspect me, but your eyes actually show a longing gaze. Looks like your relationship with Raka is pretty close.”
“I do look like Raka. But I'm not him. I am the one who will avenge his death.” Said Dirga with a sharp look.
Then Dirga stepped away leaving Julia who seemed still dumbfounded by the sentence she just said.
Julia was still standing sculpting, even as Dirga had disappeared from view. His body trembled, tears falling down his red cheeks.
