Waiting for Tomorrow

Waiting for Tomorrow
The Dark Days

That morning the sun had not long ago shone its light. Inside a room, a young man was sitting in front of an open window. He seemed pensive to think of something the burden of the deep thoughts he was feeling. On the part of the man's face, there was a scene unlike anyone in general. A sight that will make a heart slice for everyone who sees it. How not, the handsome young man, had both eyes that could not see at all. Just as the man was daydreaming, suddenly a voice came knocking on the door of his room.

  Tokkkp...Tokkkp...Tokkkp...

"Mas Yos! It's Auntie!" The woman standing behind the door, who turned out to be Bi Ginah.

"Look Bi!" Reply the man who is none other than Yos Sudarso. Hearing the answer from inside the room, Bi Ginah also slowly opened the door of the room. As soon as the door opened, Bi Ginah entered the room with a tray on top of which there was a plate of rice complete with fried chicken side dishes and vegetable stir-fried papaya. Next to the plate was a glass of warm white milk.

Bi Ginah also put the tray she held on the table made of aluminum. At the bottom of the small table, there are four small wheels. Bi Ginah pushed the table towards Yos.

"Breakfast first! Aunty already sauteed papaya with fried chicken!" Her request.

"Still Bi. Why is it, when We are in a state of depression and distress, the people are many who stay away from us? Our lives are empty, silent, and lonely." Yos asked with his face still facing out the window.

"That proves the man approached us only if we were successful! Our turn is sad and hard, they leave us! That's a sign they're not sincerely friends with us! Although his co-workers Mas Yos would not come here again, but there is still Aunt and Father! So Mas Yos need not worry! Josh is not alone!" His advice.

"Maybe yesterday they were afraid and disgusted when they saw my eyes when they came here! That's why they don't want to come here anymore!" Her speech.

"Don't think too much, Mom! That's their name they're not real friends!" The reply.

"It's not just office friends who don't want to come here anymore, Bi! But Vanya is also Bi! Ever since seeing I was blind, Vanya looked strangely at her attitude! Until now, he never came here again! Whereas before, almost every night he came here!" Yos looked sad.

"Maybe Mba Vanya is busy doing college work Mas Yos!" The reply.

"No Bi, Vanya is already the final semester! Waiting for graduation! But yes, it is Bi! Now I know how Vanya feels about me! It turns out that Vanya doesn't love me!" Her speech.

"Where does it mean to be Mas Yos? Is Mba Vanya in love with Mas Yos? My aunt doesn't know at all!" Ask Auntie back.

"It's not just Vanya who loves me Bi! But I love Vanya too! We dated a few weeks ago!" The answer.

"So you're dating Vanya, Yos?" Ask a man who suddenly appears in his room Yos. Hearing his question, Yos seemed a little nervous.

"Yes Sir! But perhaps now that feeling had faded in Vanya's heart! Who wants a woman as sweet and beautiful as Vanya, to have a blind boyfriend like me! Vanya must be very embarrassed if her friends find out, if she has a bad boyfriend like me! Especially in Jakarta there are so many handsome, handsome, rich, and clearly not flawed men like myself!" Tears were immediately dripping down Yos cheek. Bi Ginah wept and saw and heard the words of Josh. Moreover, the man who had just entered into his room Yos. The man, who was none other than Mr. Teddy, felt very guilty and devastated to hear Yos speech. Tears fell from Mr. Teddy's eyes.

"Don't talk like that, Josh! If Mba Vanya does not want to be the same Mas Yos, maybe He is not the soul mate of Mas Yos! Bibi pray that Mas Yos can get a wife who sincerely loves Mas Yos!" Bi Ginah's Advice.

"Aamiin yes rabbal'alamiin." Mr. Teddy replied in tears.

"Yos, you shouldn't be suffering like this, but me! Intentions want to make you happy by living here, but quite the opposite!" Teddy in my heart.

"Better now Mas Yos breakfast first!" Bi Ginah took the plate on the table and brought it closer to Josh's right hand. Slowly Josh greeted the plate. Once he had held the spoon on the plate, Yos slowly scooped up the rice and side dishes.

"I'll pick up the phone first Yos!" He shouted as he walked quickly out of the room. Mr. Teddy rushed to pick up the phone in the family room on the first floor.

  "Hallo! Assalamu'alaikum!" His regards.

"Wa'alaikumsalam! Is it true I spoke to Mr Teddy?" Ask a man in a phone call.

"Rubber! Who is this?" Mr. Teddy is not calm.

"I Mr. Beni, from the Central Jakarta metro police, want to give good news to Mr. Teddy!" The answer.

"What good news sir? Has the culprit been caught?" Ask Mr. Teddy loudly.

"Already Sir! It was about three in the morning! They were arrested in Depok, Bogor, and Banten! They are three people! Among them was the one who acted as his superior. And two others as his men!" The answer.

"Can I meet them now, sir? Especially the one who was the mastermind in kidnapping my son!" Ask.

"Can Sir! Mr. Teddy just came here at ten!" The answer.

"Good Sir! I'll be there!" Said.

"Yes, I've been waiting for Mr. Teddy! Assalamu'alaikum." Greetings to the police named Beni.

"Wa'alaikumsalam." The answer. Mr. Teddy put the phone back in place. He ran to his bedroom, Josh.

"Yos! There is good news!!!" He cried when he entered his room.

"What good news sir?" Ask Yos curiously.

"The culprit has been caught, Yos! I'll see the face of the culprit! You want to come, Yos?" Ask Mr. Teddy.

"No sir! It's free if I come! I can't see their faces!" The reply was indifferent.

"May they rot in prison, Yos! If you don't come, it's okay Yos! Yes, you go to the office first!" Her speech. Hearing his words, Yos was just busy enjoying his breakfast. There was no answer from his mouth. Deeply saddened, Mr. Teddy left Yos alone in his room.

Mr. Teddy walked to his car in the carport in front of his house, with tears in his eyes. After riding in the car, with his feelings crashing, Mr. Teddy stepped on the gas pedal firmly. The car drove quickly from his home.
