Mother's Advice

"Sir Lik, how are you?" Sapa Hari invites shaking hands with moustached men in their 40s.

"Good God, how are you doing Har?" Ask Mr. Lik Marto to welcome Hari's right hand.

"Thank God be kind to Mr. Lik!" The reply.

"Said yesterday you just applied with Fatimah, huh?" Ask.

"Yes Mr. Lik. Know where Mr Lik is from?" Ask back to Curious Day.

"From Bu Puji, I met you on the street! He was close to Fatimah's house!" The answer.

"Oh so. Ask Mr. Lik for his prayers, may all go well until I and Fatimah get married!" Her request.

"I wish you a day! May you be destined to be a match! May all be well until marriage and you can build a family that is sadinah mawadah warahmah." Praying.

"Aamiin yes rabbal'alamiin." Mommy, Hari, and Fatimah answered.

"It's going to Jakarta now Har?"

  "Yes Mr. Lik."

  "Wear the train, right?"

"Yes. Ride it at the Racing station, Mr. Lik."

  "Yes." Yeah."

"Sir, it's a good day!" Day extended her right hand. Mother welcomed the hand of her eldest son.

"Yes Nak! Be careful on the road! If you work carefully too!" His love with tears.

"Yes Mak!" Day kissed the back of her mother's palm.

"Wherever you are, never leave the five prayers, O my son's day! Because prayer is the pillar of religion!" Pinta. Her tears could no longer be held back.

"Yes Mak!" Reply to the day that cries. Day immediately hugged the body of the mother who looked thin like without meat. Only the skin that covers the bones.

"I'm sorry for all your mistakes, my son!" His love hugged his son's body.

"More doesn't have to apologize! The day you should apologize to Mom! Many days have been wrong, Mother!" Her tears were soaking down both cheeks of Hari, that they dripped on her mother's back.

"All your past mistakes, I've forgiven you, son! Without asking for it, Mom forgave her! So, you do not need to think about the previous problem! Even after every prayer, Mother always pray for you and Fera to be a godly child!" Reply to her while wiping the tears that fell on her cheek.

"Thank you, Mom!" Say Hari while slowly releasing her embrace.

"Mom's message, always follow His orders and stay away from His prohibition, son! Especially in a big city not everyone is kind-hearted! Be careful in hanging out and choosing friends, huh Har! Stay away from those who bring you into the fold!" His advice.

"God's Insha Hari will always remember Mom's message!"

"Don't forget the day! Set aside some of your money to help people in need! Expand the shadaqah to the poor and the twofas! Because in your income there are their rights!"

"Insha Allah Mak! May Hari share with others!"

"Thank you for Hari! You have registered your mother for the Hajj! Pray for Mother Har, may you be given a long life! So that you can see you are married and have children! And you can realize your dream for the Hajj!" He said with a smile.

"Yes Mak! Day always pray Mom to always be given health and long life. In order to see Hari get married and Mum can go on Hajj!" The reply.

"Yes Mak! If Hari has reached Jakarta and there is free time, Hari will send a letter immediately!" Said.

"Yes Har. I'll wait for the letter!" The reply.

"Sir, I'm leaving first!" Hari looked at the face of her heart.

"Yes Mas. Be careful on the road! Fatimah will faithfully wait for Mas Hari to come back here again!" Fatimah is trying to be strong. A smile emanated from his face. Even his sadness could not be hidden.

"Yes Deck! Wait for Mas to return to this beloved village Yes Dek!" Her request.

  "Yes!"

"Assalamu'alaikum." Hail Day. The man went up to the rickshaw and sat next to the cardboard that had been placed on the rickshaw by Mr. Lik Marto.

"Wa'alaikumsalam." Replied Mother and Fatimah together. They both waved their right hand. Hari replied with a wave of her hand. His tears came back, when he saw the faces of his mother and future wife.

"Why don't I feel like I always do? Usually if I go home and leave again, I don't feel this sad! This time it felt like my heart was too heavy to leave Mom and Fatimah!" It's in the heart.

After climbing on the saddle, Mr. Lik Marto rushed to pedal the pedal. Slowly the rickshaw walked away from the mother and Fatimah who were still standing in the front yard of the house. The farther the distance between the rickshaw with the mother and Fatimah, the day that looked back finally returned to face the front.

"Do you still miss your mother and also Fatimah, Har?" Ask Mr. Lik Marto.

  "Yes Mr. Lik." The reply.

"When it's a holiday you can go home again, Har!" Her speech.

"Yes Mr. Lik! It feels like always being together and always being close to Mom, but how about it again, my license is in Jakarta!" Reply to Hari while wiping her tears.

"All is the destiny of God, Har! Rizkimu got it in Jakarta! Just grateful! Many people want to work for an automotive company like you! If you work here, what do you want to do? Working is hard! Salaries in this small town are not as big as kayaks in Jakarta! Like I said, thank you for your work! Go with sincerity!" Advice from Mr. Lik Marto.

  "Yes Mr. Lik." Reply Day.

Mr. Lik Marto continued to pedal his pedicab with all his might. The pedicab continued to go quite fast, towards the Balapan station located in the city of Solo.

After a journey of about 20 minutes, they finally arrived in front of the Race station. Day came down from the top of the rickshaw. He again carried his backpack and carried a cardboard box filled with food from his mother. Before Day entered the station area, he did not forget to pay services to Mr. Lik Marto. He also gave a piece of paper money with a nominal 20 thousand.

"Thank you so much, Mr. Lik, you've been delivered!" Day thrusting money in his right hand in front of Mr. Lik Marto. Seeing the nominal money is quite large, Mr. Lik Marto also took out a wallet from inside the pocket of his pants back. The man was about to take some money with the intention of changing. But quickly Hari made a sound.

"Take the change Mr. Lik! Buy a cigarette!"

"Thank you very much, Hari! May ye be wrought by Allah!" Mr. Lik Marto received money from Hari with happiness.

"Aamiinu. Yes, I'm saying yes, Mr. Lik!" Exclaims.

  "Yes Har!"

The day goes quickly into the station area. Arriving inside the station, he rushed to buy an economy train ticket. After getting the ticket, Hari walked back to the departure area.

About 15 minutes waiting, the train that was about to be boarded by Hari finally appeared before him. As soon as the train stopped, Hari and the rest of the passengers rushed up to the top of the carriage. It didn't take long, Day found a seat that matched the seat number on the ticket she was holding. Only 10 minutes later the train stopped, and finally the train, full of passengers, was speeding again.

All day long I could not sleep. Let alone sleep, to eat and drink was not intentional. The day was just daydreaming while looking out the window. In his mind constantly the thoughts of the figure of the mother and Fatimah.
