Chapter 4: Grief

" Mad Alvino." Husna said when Husna had found Alvino who was on the balcony of the 5th floor of the hospital.

" Husna, what's wrong?"

" You realize, it seems he reminds the whole family to gather next to him."

Alvino immediately walked quickly to the room of Mr. Winata followed by Husna.

When he entered, Alvino and Husna saw that everyone who was there was already crying, especially Mama.

Alvino put his ear to Mr. Winata's lips.

All there panicked, Alvino immediately pressed the emergency button and the doctor immediately came to check on Mr. Winata.

the doctor had a long breath problem and shook his head while looking at Alvino and the others.

Elvio immediately walked up to Mr. Winata and whispered in his ear.

" Elvio sincerely papa, Elvio promises to run the trust papa and take care of Mama and Alviana."

Mama and Brother Alviana who heard what Elvio just said grew weeping.

Alvino looked at Husna who nodded his head with a smile just that the smile from Husna could not be seen by Alvino.

Alvino approached the father holding back his tears and whispered.

" Alvino was sincere if papa would leave us all. Alvino promised to take care of Husna and our family."

Alvino and Elvio then moved away from Mr. Winata's bed and gave room to his mother and older sister to say a final farewell to Mr. Winata.

Mama and Kak Alviana did the same thing they whispered and let go of Mr. Winata.

Husna was the last. Husna kissed the back hand of Mr. Winata.

" Thank you for making me feel the warmth of a family. Thank you for allowing me to dedicate myself and be devoted to you even though you are not Mr. Husna but you treat Husna as your own daughter."

Husna then did Mentalqin.

Mentalqin is to lead someone who is about to die to say the creed of Laa Ilaaha Illa Allah. Mentalqin of someone who will die is destroyed for those who are on the side of the person who will die, as the word of the Prophet shalallahu ‘alaihi wa salam:

لقنوا موتا كم لا إله إلا الله

“Talkanlah someone who will die to say the sentence: ‘Laa ilaaha illa Allah’” 1

In another story:

من كان آخر كلامه لا إله إلا الله دخل الجنة

“Whoever whose last greeting was “Laa ilaaha illa Allah” will then enter paradise”

...Death will be the breaker of all the joy and happiness felt in the world. Life in the afterlife is eternal. Nothing is eternal in this world....

...Most people think death is far, far away. But when that day comes, it is too late to do what we can do today. And Allah will not delay (death) a person when the time of his death has come....

A few weeks later, after 40 days of Mr. Winata's death, Alvino invited his entire family to visit his aunt Rosita in Turkey.

Bibi was very happy with the arrival of the family from her older brother but was also saddened to hear the news that Mr. Winata was dead.

" I'm sorry I couldn't be there at the last moment." Said Aunt Rosita.

" It's okay." Mama Fatimah.

" He's who?" Rosita asked while looking at Husna.

" His name is Husna. Husna, come here." Say Mama.

Husna smiled and walked over to Mama, Husna immediately kissed the back of the hand of aunt Rosita.

" Husna was originally a doctor's assistant who helped my husband while he was outpatient who washes blood in the hospital."

" For some reason, my husband had said that he wanted to be cared for by Husna because of that, Winata personally asked Husna to be his nurse and who would relax if Husna agreed to it."

" Winata treated Husna like her own daughter until she wished to make Husna her son-in-law, when I asked Winata to say that no one knows the age of a person and he was afraid that if he was no longer in this world Husna would come back alone therefore he very much wanted Husna to be a part from this family."

" So who's lucky to have this noble-hearted woman?, who gave up her career in order to care for a single patient?" Ask aunt Rosita.

" Alvinos."

" Amin..." Say everyone.

His afternoon...

" Mommy, did Mama see Husna?"

" Husna went around with Hilya."

Hilya is the daughter of Rosita's aunt.

Her aunt Rosita has three children and Hilya is the youngest child of her aunt Rosita while the other two are married and live with her husband.

" If you're worried about her why don't you try to look for her, haven't you come here and I'm sure you don't remember the way." Mama said with a smile.

" Just let it go, after all Husna went along with Hilya and sister Alviana." Alvino said as he dropped back on the sofa.

" Here after your wife, Mama saw all this time you never invite your wife to get out of the house right."

" Yes Husna took care of Papa. Husna herself also did not want to when I invited her out."

" Now Papa is healthy and is looking at you from a different nature so Mama think Papa also agrees with mama for you to catch up with Husna and replace Hilya take Husna for a walk."

" What exactly is that?" Alvino asked while frowning.

" Oh, it's okay, it's okay." Mama said as she turned around and prepared to return to the kitchen to help Rosita prepare food for dinner.

Although it was still afternoon, but because there was a big family so Rosita decided to make a lot of food and started it after the ashar prayer.

After walking quite far from home, Alvino stopped and thought where he could find Husna.

" The mosque." Screeched Alvino.

Alvino walked directly to the mosque which is about 800 meters from his house.
