Vortice In Vendetta
CHAPTER 41: Jeana's Sweet Attitude

Jeana was moody for days when she lived with Yudha on a private island belonging to her family-in-law. There were many things that seemed to burden him, but he did not say them to Yudha.

His memories began to return one by one and it was very tormented, as well as Yudha. Yudha even restricted his access to the outside world. He did not give the girl permission to use cell phones and the internet. Neither does the TV.

The girl was a little depressed. Coupled with memories that appear in no sequence. He often complained of severe headaches and also mentally seemed very unstable. But Yudha's turmoil was again a barrier for him to feel calm and free. He was restrained, even though he was with someone he loved very much.

“Kak Yudha..” The girl woke up in the middle of the night and saw Yudha being fixated on the night star alone on the balcony of their room.

“Why? Are you feeling cold? I'll close this door.” Yudha hurried to close the door and approached the woman.

He re-positioned himself next to Jea and slept while hugging the girl in order to help her fall asleep.

“Kak Yudha.” The girl again.

“Ya?” Yudha just muttered. He kissed the top of the girl's head long enough. He inhaled the scent of the girl as much as possible and tried to calm himself with it. The girl was a palanquin for him. Even if just hugging or kissing her, then that was enough for her.

“I love you.” His exclamation immediately made Yudha's eyes widen and created a little distance to be able to look at the girl's face very clearly.

“Yes? Suddenly?” said confused.

“No, I already remember it. Slowly and all the tangled threads began to be arranged so neatly. Sorry for these few days I've been so indifferent to you.” His words sound absurd.

“Means?”

“Honestly, Jea is putting it all together. All the memories I have, I've arranged them in the right order. And this morning, I found out all the truth.”

“What is it?” Yudha's eyes seemed to tremble. There was a stir that he was trying to hide.

“I love you.” Said the girl steady.

"Is it because you only remember me?" yudha asked still not believing.

“No, I love you since the incident in the elevator eight years ago." he replied steadily.

"Sir Yudha was my first love. I never even had more feelings for Aksa. I just consider him my childhood friend. But Yudha was different. I can assure you that I will never be able to live without Brother Yudha.”

There were tears struggling to get out and Yudha was still trying to hold her back. It's all too complicated for him. Sometimes the girl seemed so indifferent, sometimes so considerate and now she is expressing love to him instead. To the one who always tells lies in front of him.

“Mama said, before the operation I ngigauin the name of Kak Yudha. I fear that Brother Yudha is angry, for seeing me with Aksa. I asked him to leave, brother. Seriously.” The girl pointed her two fingers towards Yudha as if she was expressing solemnity.

“She's tight. He wants to clear everything. Even if I told you I don't care about it all. I'm afraid Brother Yudha misunderstood.” The girl began to cry, and stopped her sentence. He really looks innocent at the moment. He looked more like a teenager today than a twenty-one-year-old girl who was his wife.

“I've always been afraid that Brother Yudha hates me. I was always afraid that I would never have a chance to get close again to Brother Yudha. The marriage, the marriage with Aksa. I had to for Rayden and Bang Raga. But he was too kind, until I had no intention of divorcing him.

But destiny says something else. God gave my brother back to me. Hiks...” The girl sobbed in Yudha's arms. Yudha patted his shoulders slowly and drowned himself in Yudha's arms.

“You are the only man I want and I ask God to love me. I don't care about the others. Even if I have to face your old demonic nature, I don't care. I don't care if you throw me out and kill me here. I just want you, until anytime.” His words were steady and made Yudha's heart warm.

“Je...” Yudha was just about to open her mouth, but the girl immediately smothered her. He took off his arms from Yudha and immediately got up. She sat in front of her husband.

“Don't, don't say anything. I'm shy.” The girl's face was red.

Yudha let go of the hand with a very gentle touch. He followed her to sit down and get closer. It erodes the distance that is now between them.

“You sure? Do you remember everything? Including all our bad memories?” asked Yudha doubtfully. The girl nodded.

“You will never regret talking about this?” ask again. Jea shook her head steadily. He flicked his lips as far forward as possible and with it his tears fell back. Breaking through just like that, without any longer being able to withstand it.

“ What is this form of rejection? Is Brother Yudha again trying to reject me, subtly?" Yudha shook her head slowly, but the girl did not believe her.

"What do I feel is one-sided? Is Brother Yudha going to reject me? After everything we've faced together?” the girl shook her head as hard as she could. He tried to prevent the tears from coming out. She covered her face with both hands and cried. His heart was too sick not to cry.

“Hey, why?” yudha said again, as if at a loss for words to be able to communicate with Jeana. He tried to remove the girl's hand from her face, but the girl tried to keep it.

“Don't, evil Brother Yudha! It was the first time I fell in love and expressed my feelings to someone. I am ashamed, and Brother Yudha also refused. I no longer have any face to face Brother Yudha.” His issue sounded like a child being scolded by his mother.

“Je, I haven't said anything.” Yudha again pulled her hand to escape her beautiful face. But he still insisted.

Yudha chuckled and let go of the girl's hand. He chose to give up. He let all his silly behavior look so sweet. This was the first time for him to see the girl like that. This was the first time showing such a childish attitude, especially in front of him.

“Kan Kak Yudha ngetawain me.” The girl lowered her hand and cried even harder to make Yudha misbehave.

“Je, horrifying me.” Yudha raised her tone slightly. But not to scold him, he was just trying to attract his attention. And sure enough, that way worked. The girl was silent while staring at him sharply.

CUPS

Yudha kissed the girl's lips and made her cheeks turn red. This time he buried his face behind a pillow. He really blushed this time.

“Bad Yudha brother! That means what try?” his inaudible grunts were obvious as there were pillows covering his face.

“That's my answer. Just guess.” Yudha's temptation made her cry stop. His face must have turned red under the pillow, Yudha said. She smiled shyly without making a sound. He did not want the girl to sulk again, thinking that he was laughing at her.
