Chapter 69

Kevin leads Regina into the kitchen, evading Aldo and Jessica's commotion.

"Kevin, they're fighting. Why did you bring me here? What if they hurt each other?" Regina threw Kevin's hand.

"They won't hurt each other. Take it easy." said Kevin softly.

"Sit down, I want to talk to you." Kevin led Regina to sit on the kitchen table. Suddenly Kevin hugged Regina's body tightly, further drowning his wife's face in the chest of his field.

"What's wrong? Is there something that bothers your heart?" ask Regina. He hugged Kevin tightly.

"Sorry" said Kevin. Regina loosened Kevin's embrace, staring at the husband's sad face.

"What's wrong? Why are you apologizing."

"Later I'll tell you everything, now let me hug you." Kevin pulled Regina's body back into his arms.

Kevin closed his eyes, feeling guilty about not saying where he went from the start. If he were to say it first, there was no way he would experience such an extremely embarrassing as well as disgusting thing.

Bruck

Jessica's body fell on Aldo's body due to a pull on his wrist. The two looked at each other, their hearts pounding. Kevin's hand drew Jessica's body closer to him.

"Aldo !" scream Kevin. At that instant Aldo pushed Jessica's body and made the woman fall to the floor with a bang. Regina approached, helping Jessica get up and sit on the sofa.

"What are you doing, Al?" kevin asked, he clenched his sister's head hard.

"I didn't do anything, brother. Why are you pinning my head?" Aldo held onto the part of his head where Kevin had landed.

"You okay, Jes?" regina asked, Jessica nodded with a face that was still grimacing in pain.

"So he almost fell, so I pulled his hand" said Aldo who was agreed by Jessica.

Actually not nearly fell, indeed Aldo deliberately pulled Jessica's wrist. Aldo and Jessica did not dare to look at each other, both of them turned to shame for what almost happened between them.

Not wanting too long to dissolve in an awkward situation, Jessica also said goodbye to home. Not long after, Aldo also said goodbye. Regina is now sitting on the edge of the bed waiting for Kevin who is still in the bathroom.

Chequelek

The door opened, Kevin exited in a casual T-shirt and knee-length pants. He immediately sat down beside his wife. Kevin knew Regina was very disturbed by what she said in the kitchen.

"Honey," Kevin gently stroked Regina's hair. Regina's eyes made Kevin feel guilty.

"Please promise to hear everything and don't open your voice before I let you." Kevin said.

"What do you really want to say?" ask Regina.

"Listen to me" Kevin clasped Regina's fingers tightly. "Did you remember? The first time I did a commercial shoot for the company, Dad." Regina nodded.

"The woman's name is Carlyn. He came here, and sorry---" Kevin gave a pause before he continued his sentence. Regina's heart was already rumbling hearing Kevin's words. It wasn't all, but somehow he felt something bad was happening.

"I fulfilled her request to meet her at the hotel." Kevin continued. Regina swallowed her saliva with a kelu. Hearing the word of the hotel and Kevin who met him, made him conclude something between the woman and her husband.

"Wait, baby, listen to me first. Don't think anything. I'll tell you everything clearly, I won't cover anything from you." said Kevin, he could see the look on his wife's face that changed between surprise and sadness.

"We had dinner at the hotel restaurant. He came in this morning to the office, he said there was something he wanted to talk about in one eye. So, yeah, I saw him."

"Finished dinner, Carlyn said she wanted to go to the toilet. Two steps later, he almost fell and I helped him. I intended to take him to the doctor, but he refused and asked for help to be delivered to his room only. I've helped him sit on the couch, but suddenly he pulls my hand, and-" Kevin ducked, he wants to stop what he wants to say to his wife, he said, but Kevin wants honesty in their household. Kevin doesn't want Regina to know everything from anyone else.

"I fell on his body, he asked for help to get the medicine in his suitcase. I looked for the drug in his suitcase, he said, the sugar pressure might go up, so he needed it." Regina still listens to Kevin, according to Kevin's orders, that he should not speak before Kevin allows it.

Kevin touches Regina's shoulder, resuming the story.

"I found nothing in his suitcase, as soon as I turned around, I was surprised to see he had taken off all his clothes."

"Did you sleep with her?" also escaped the question from Regina's lips, along with tears that had forced out since then.

"Honey," Kevin wiped Regina's tears.

"No, wait, listen to me. I was surprised, he pulled the nape of my neck and-"

"Wait, Regina, listen to me."

"He kissed me and I----"

"You got hooked and then you led the woman into bed, right?" exciting Regina. Her crying is breaking. Those tears swiftly slid down Regina's soft cheeks.

"Regina," Kevin emphasized his voice, closing his eyes. As he thought, it would not be that easy to explain to his wife.

"He kissed me, as I pushed his body. And I took the blanket and I covered her naked body with it. I'm not a street cat that's gonna eat just any fish, Re, I'm not that kind of guy." Kevin exclaimed.

"really? Where is there a man who wastes such scrumptious things." snorted Regina.

"I swear, Regina, I didn't do anything. If you don't believe me, you can ask Carlyn that."

"Where is the thief who confessed." Regina was still staring at Kevin with a glare of sharp eyes despite her tears flowing nonstop.

"Didn't you trust your own husband?" ask Kevin. Regina was silent, she wanted to believe, but her heart refused to believe her just like that.

"All right, now count. I left the house at seven in the evening, and I returned home at half-nine in the evening. The journey from home to the hotel takes twenty minutes. Arriving at the restaurant, we ordered a shushi, and it happened that the restaurant that night was very crowded, so it took twenty minutes as well to wait. The next twenty minutes I spent eating and a little talk about our commercials. Hows it? Exactly one hour, right?" Regina was still silent, her cries had slowly started to stop flowing.

"Finished eating I drove, Carlyn, to her room. Then did I just take ten minutes to get laid, huh!" exclaim Kevin.

"Then I was twenty minutes on my way home. Tell me, does it only take ten minutes to get laid? Tell me, how long would it take if we were sweating together on the bed? Tell me, why are you quiet?" Kevin was upset by what Regina was thinking and accusing him of.

Long enough they kept each other quiet Kevin rubbed his face violently, he really did not do what Regina accused. Even if he doesn't have Regina yet, he's not that kind of guy, the guy who easily sleeps with all the women.

"Did he just kiss you?" regina asked, Kevin nodded without turning to Regina who was sitting next to him.

"What long?" ask Regina again. This time Kevin turned his head, looking at the face of the wife who was full of question marks.

"What do you mean?" Kevin knitted his two eyebrows.

"I-yes, that ... did she kiss you for so long?" reset Regina.

Kevin looked down at the floor of his room.

"No, maybe just five seconds."

"really?" Regina made sure and was answered nodding her head by Kevin.

Without warning, Regina immediately took Kevin's hand to the bathroom.

"Be quiet, don't move and ask." Regina had Kevin stand in front of the bathroom sink glass, his hands took the liquid soap and applied it directly to Kevin's lips, rubbing it very roughly. Even the surprised Kevin could not defend himself because of the soap that still filled his lips. His eyes were perfectly round.

"No bowing." Regina ordered. According to Kevin, he looked down and Regina washed Kevin's soapy lips with water until clean. Regina took the towel and she dried Kevin's lips.

"What are you doing?" Kevin asked as Regina again brushed him out of the bathroom.

"Sit down, and drink this." Kevin gulped down the water that his wife gave him until it ran out.

"Why are you? Why wash my lips with so much soap?" kevin asked after returning the empty glass to Regina.

"Because your lips were kissed by another woman, I don't want that. So I washed your lips." Regina answered casually as she placed the glass on the nightstand.

"The lips belong to me, I don't want to share them with anyone." added Regina, she again sat next to her husband, Kevin smiled faintly at the wife.

"Didn't he know you were married?" ask Regina.

"No, but I told him."

"really?"

"Yes, do you want to see how I say that to Carlyn?" Regina nodded. Kevin orders Regina to stand up and she will demonstrate the incident at the hotel.

"Keep away from me!" kevin yelled as he pushed Regina's body into the bed like he did Carlyn. Regina's lips and eyes form the letter O at the same time.

"Well, you know, I'm married to the woman I love. And if I wasn't married, I wouldn't sleep with you either." Kevin exclaimed. Regina laughed, still in the position where Kevin had pushed her earlier.
