Chapter 47

Kevin sat on the sofa, staring at Regina who was on her back. Silent, the four people who were in the room were silent a thousand languages.

Ever since Kevin came in, both of his eyes were against Regina's eyes. Soon Regina threw away her face, ignoring Kevin who came over and asked her.

"How are you doing?" Kevin asked who was worried about Regina as soon as he saw her pale face. He was still standing by the bed.

"Good." Short Regina without looking at Kevin.

"Jessica.." Call Regina, Jessica who was originally sitting with Aldo stood up.

"Please pack up all my belongings in Mr. Kevin's house." Regina's orders made Aldo and Jessica round their eyes and lips to form the letter O.

Kevin just looked down silently, he already thought that Regina would do just that. Get out of his house.

"But why Re?" Ask Jessica.

"Yes but why brother?" Aldo asked. Regina was silent, still turning her face away.

"Sister, why are you silent ? regina's sister is leaving the house." Aldo shakes Kevin's shoulder. Aldo seemed to be in disbelief to see Kevin who was just silent to hear Regina was leaving the house.

Kevin's silence made Regina even more hurt, her tears came out without excuse. He immediately removed it, not wanting to show his weakness to Kevin. Kevin who saw Regina crying started to think.

"Is he that sick because I'm going to divorce him? but why should she cry? he won't lose me, but I'll lose him." Think Kevin.

"Aldo, you want to help Regina pack my things and take them to Jessica's apartment, right?" Aldo silently looked at Regina who was talking to him.

"If you two don't want to, it doesn't matter. I'll pack it myself once I get out of here." Regina.

"But why Re? what's up?" Ask Jessica.

"Don't leave the house before our farewell letter comes out." Luke Kevin.

Regina's heart aches, shattered a second time by the man she loves. But this time it hurt more than when Anton left it in the mop. This time it was her husband who said that, the parting words were very painful in Regina's ears. His heart is broken, his tears are back.

"Sister ! what are you talking about?" Seru Aldo's. Jessica held Regina's hand. He was also surprised to hear Kevin.

After that, no one spoke anymore. All quiet. Stick to each other's thoughts. Aldo who was surprised to see the attitude and heard Kevin's remark that he would divorce Regina can only be silent and drifting in his own mind, while he knows for himself that Kevin is fighting for his love for Regina. Trying to make the woman fall in love with him. Aldo didn't expect Kevin to give up so soon.

"Sister, before the food is cold, you better eat immediately and then take medicine." Aldo to Regina.

"Yes Re, I'll feed you." Jessica took Regina's food on the nightstand.

"No Jes." Regina held Jessica's hand.

"I'm not hungry, I just want to sleep." Regina.

"But Re."

"I said I'm not hungry !" Tukas Regina's. Jessica put the food back where it came from.

"You all go home, it's night. I want to sleep." Regina turned her back on everyone, covering her blanket up to her chest. Closing his eyes forcefully.

"You go home, I'll accompany Regina here." Jessica.

"You're also coming home to Jes !" Regina.

"But Re..."

"Go home ! I don't want to bother anyone."

The three of them went home, Aldo who forced Kevin to stay and chose to come home. I don't know what's on Kevin's mind, making Aldo and Jessica look at each other in confusion.

Kevin went home. Her footsteps led Kevin up the stairs to Regina's room. The room was a mess, makeup tools and all the needs of women who were originally neatly arranged on the dressing table were now scattered on the floor of the room. Blankets and pillows thrown everywhere. Kevin's heart still wonders, Regina is crying and disappointed because of him or even because of Anton.

A call from Aldo resuscitated Kevin who sat with his own mind while holding a perfume bottle belonging to Regina on the floor.

"Sister, where are you?" Ask Aldo.

"No, I'm just asking. I think you're back at the hotel." Aldo.

"No. Aldo, did you find Regina passed out in the bathroom?" Ask Kevin.

"Yes, who else? was Kevin's brother there when Regina's brother fainted?" Sindir Aldo's.

"When you walked into Regina's room, was the room a mess?" Ask Kevin.

Aldo was silent for a moment, he remembered that.

"I don't know for sure, brother, when I opened the door, I just focused on the sound of water in the bathroom that was not closed. But it seems like it's messy." Answer Aldo.

"All right, thank you." Kevin closed his call unilaterally. Aldo stared at his phone while cursing at Kevin.

Kevin picked up the messy stuff, put it back in the original place that he was either right or not styling.

Kevin sat on the edge of Regina's bed which he had tidied up, his eyes twisting around the room. There's a picture of him wearing a cool suit on Regina's nightstand.

"Why is there a picture of me here?" Ask Kevin to himself.

Kevin thought back to Regina who had not eaten and taken medicine. He tries to expel Regina from his heart and mind, but Regina's shadow with Anton returns. Making the doubts in his heart come back.

"Ah shit ! why do I keep thinking about him !" Kevin squeezed his hair feeling frustrated. He took the keys and drove to the hospital.

He opened Regina's nursing room door slowly. He approached Regina who was sleeping, his hands aimed at tidying up Regina's haircut. There were tears on Regina's face, Kevin brought her face closer to Regina. Kevin pulled himself back to stand firm as soon as he realized he was going to kiss the woman on the forehead.

Kevin looked at the nightstand, Regina didn't touch or take the medicine. Everything is intact.

Kevin was sitting on Regina's bedside chair. After a long time looking at Regina's face, he leaned his head beside Regina's hand and closed his eyes because his drowsiness could not be maintained anymore.

As the sunlight shot into the crevices of the nursery, Regina opened her eyes as her hands felt heavy as if someone was holding them. He rounded his eyes as soon as he saw Kevin sleeping on the chair, leaning his head beside his arm.

Regina pulled her hand that Kevin was holding, making the man open his eyes. Kevin was still adjusting his glare.

Kevin sat up straight. His eyes met Regina's eyes, both of them looking at each other in silence. Either hinting at what the content in their view.
