Chapter 53

Kevin and Nuky are at the hotel. Both of them had prepared food in their rooms. A tired body and mind put Kevin to sleep without checking his phone first.

While Regina across the street is still waiting there may be a call or just a message from Kevin. Many times he checked the chat application that made him sigh upset and had to come back disappointed, there was no message or call from Kevin.

"Ok, we can start now." Say Director. Kevin stood up, he clucked irritably because he again had to return close to Carlyn.

The process of filming the ad began, the scene hugging and adjacent this time Kevin could not refuse. Kevin and Carlyn sat at one of the cafe tables by the sea, enjoying a cup of coffee and the beauty of the sunset on the beach. The sound of waves rolling in his ears made Kevin remember Regina, for two days he had not heard from the woman. Never mind to send a message, just touch his phone Kevin did not have time. His phone is always with Nuky when he is busy.

Kevin was already at his doorstep, he saw the floor of his house was very dirty. The page was the same, dried leaves scattered everywhere. It was still daytime but the lights were on, it indicated that there was indeed no one in the house.

"Okay sir, Monday I'll pick up you to go to the office." Nuky.

"Good Pi. Papi and Mami how are you? And Regina?" Kevin asked, his voice sounding lethargic when he mentioned Regina's name.

"You could be kidding, Regina's with you but you're asking us. We've been waiting three days for a call from you. But it seems you're too busy on your honeymoon, you forgot to tell your parents." Ledek Papi Surya with his laugh.

Kevin stood up, he frowned feeling surprised. Wanted him to scream What !! but he understood that something was wrong with all of this. He also tried to speak as usual.

"Sorry Pi, we'll contact you more often." That's the only sentence that popped into Kevin's head.

"It's okay Vin, we understand. All right, continue on your honeymoon. Let us know if you're going home." Papi Surya. Both ended the call. Kevin called Regina's number right away.

"Damn !! My number was blocked by him !" Grumpy Kevin. He called Aldo.

"Sister, is she home?" Ask Aldo.

"Aldo, do you know where Regina is?" Panic Kevin.

"Where do I know sister, she's sister's wife."

"Al, brother is being serious. Brother just came home, all Regina's belongings and clothes are not home.When did she get out of the hospital?"

"No Al, Papi Surya just called and asked Regina. Papi Surya said that I and Regina were on their honeymoon until they forgot to tell them for three days."

Aldo began to panic, he stood up and took the keys to the car on his desk.

Kevin came out, his face still looking panicked.

"I told you Regina wasn't here. He's at his parents' house." Aldo had already taken his grip on Jessica.

"No, Papi Surya just called me she said Regina went on her honeymoon with me. That means he's not there." Said Kevin.

Kevin leaned his body against the car seat, massaging the base of his nose, sighing furiously at his own stupidity once Aldo said that Anton was not seeing Regina in the hospital.
