Chapter 1

Regina, the pretty dimpled girl. His long black hair always accompanied his days. For a woman, hair is one part of the body that is quite important and must be treated in order to always be healthy and shiny. Outside the house, Regina never tied her hair, she let her black hair down. Regina works at Surya Wijaya's company, her own papi. To be honest he was very uninterested in the business world, but because the papi forced, Regina was forced to obey.

Surya thinks, if not regina then who will continue this company because Regina is the only child in the family.

Regina's the night grave with her papi and her mamm. In the middle of the dinner, Papi Regina opened a chat.

“Then what, Pi?”

“About Anton, Re.”

Regina dropped her spoon and fork until a loud clanking sound was heard.

“Pi, I don't want to discuss this! How many times has Regina said it, I love her. Regina will never want to part from Anton!” scream Regina.

“Regina, Polite talk! Papi is your parent. Papi wants you to be happy, you know what Anton is. He won't make you happy!” Surya is emotional.

“Pi, already do not discuss this issue at the dining table. We discuss it later,” pinta Mami Ira gently.

“Your child is getting more and more difficult to manage since knowing Anton!”

“Quite, Pi, Anton is good, unlike what, Papi, think all this time!” Regina went to the room and left the dining table.

“Regina! Papi hasn't finished talking. Regina!” shouted Papi Surya.

Regina didn't make out her papy cry. He walked into the room and slammed the door hard enough.

“Pi, why is it always like this when it comes to Anton's problems. Our son loves him, Pi, just let Regina be with Anton, the important thing is our son is happy,” soft Mami Ira.

“Mi, if Anton is a good man. He'll definitely meet us for the continuation of his relationship and Regina. That man will definitely ask Regina nicely for us. But, what is this? Since college until now the man has never intended to see us. Never mind, Mi, until whenever papi will not approve of Regina's relationship with that man!" Papi Surya went to his study.

Mami Ira breathed a long sigh to see her husband and daughter who always fight when it comes to Anton's problems.

Ira heads to Regina's room to comfort her daughter.

“Where are you going, Re?” ask Mami Ira who saw Regina was neat while taking her tote bag.

“I'm going to Jessica's apartment, Mi.”

“But, Re, it's already night. Tomorrow we go to Jessica's apartment. Tomorrow is weekend.” Pinta Mami Ira on Regina.

“Regina will stay there, Mi.”

“Tapi—”

“Alright, beware.” Mami Ira led Regina to the main door. Sia re-entered after it was felt Regina's car was not reached from his view.

Regina stops her car by the side of the road, and calls Anton before she goes to Jessica's apartment.

“Honey, where are you?” ask Regina to Anton.

“I'm home, Re, what's up?” ask Anton again.

“Can you meet me now?”

“Where are you?”

“I am on the road X.”

“Alright, I'll be there.”

It didn't take long, Anton came driving his car. Regina who saw Anton immediately went down and approached Anton.

“What's up, Re?” Anton also approached Regina.

Without saying a word Regina immediately hugged Anton's body.

“What's up?? what's the papi problem again?” ask Anton and Regina nodded.

Anton releases Regina's embrace.

"Re, let's just end this relationship, until whenever your papa still won't approve of our relationship. I'm tired if I have to be like this continuously.”

“Anton don't say that, I love you so much,” said Regina who along with a clear bulb that began to fall on her cheek.

“Then should I share, Re? I've been tired, since college until now papinu still do not like me.”

Regina hugged Anton tightly, crying at the man's words. “I will keep trying to get papi to bless us, I promise.”

“Alright, now where are you going these nights?” Anton releases Regina's embrace.

“I want to go to Jessica's apartment.” Regina wiped away the remaining tears on her cheeks.

“Alright, be careful.” Anton left Regina.

It's always like that. Anton was tired, very tired. The man felt, the Regina family did not appreciate it at all. Yes, Regina was born from parents who are well-off. And it all makes Anton think, maybe the Regina family feels inappropriate if having a daughter-in-law like her— is not worth it. So nauseating.

Arguing with parents, going from home to meet the man she loves, hoping for peace of mind. Regina never got that from Anton. Of course, not just this once. However, many times. The man is always angry if he finds Regina crying because of arguing with her parents. And, foolishly, Regina could not see it all. Anton doesn't care about him.
