Ulong Dagger

Ulong Dagger
Awang Revenge

Leman twirled his machete to and fro, trying to drive two wolves into action.

Really good Leman fight, his machete flashed around and around in circles. Many times he managed to slash and stab the two creepy creatures even though it has not produced results.

As with the two creatures that attacked him, however hard they claw and bite did not also succeed in injuring Leman in the least.

Meanwhile Awang racked his brain, thinking hard how to fight these enemies.

He was helped by two of his friends still gang up on Ki Bayu.

They fend off each other to protect against keris attacks.

A puncture directed towards Awang made him forced to jump back and forth through the open door into the room behind him.

Eve from the keris felt cold when it approached his body, obviously it was not a kris carelessly.

Ki Bayu tried to chase Awang who moved backwards but Arman's spear, Awang's men hit his chest.

The spear Arman used was effective enough to block, only blocking without being able to injure.

Soon Ki Bayu busy the two Awang men, while Awang himself glanced behind looking for anything in the room that can be used to fight.

All he had in mind was how he and his remaining men could defeat the enemy, or else he would have to find a way to escape from here.

He looked towards the furnace and charcoal scrap, picked up the gravel and spooned it into the furnace taking the coals in it.

Ki Bayu advanced and managed to catch the spear that Arman thrust towards him with his left hand and then beat the keris in his right hand towards Arman.

Arman can't escape anymore, time's too narrow. So fast and so close Ki Bayu attacked, the intended is the throat.

"Modar!!!" ki Bayu.

At that crucial moment Mat Kecik jumped then a kick in his cage, knocking on Ki Bayu's jaw.

Ki Bayu staggered backwards, Arman who escaped death saw the opportunity, leaned forward and then pushed the spear with his right hand as far as possible. The spear hit Ki Bayu's chest, not only piercing but also banging him hit the wall of the pepas, barged into the room and then fell on his back.

Before the opponent stood up, Awang poured the embers in the attack on Ki Bayu's body.

Spontaneous Ki Bayu clasped his hand, pieces of embers splashed to and fro.

The heat of the embers immediately burned the walls of the tepas overlaid by Ki Bayu's body.

Awang raised the table and put it on the body of Ki Bayu who was drunk because of the coal.

Mat Kecik followed into the room, jumping and stepping on the table that befell Ki Bayu.

Awang did not want to waste the opportunity, on the craze again embers in the furnace and poured again towards Ki Bayu.

Arman and Mat kecik raised the iron runway to forge and were thrown onto the table that overstretched Ki Bayu's body.

"Let's run away, Awang said to his two friends.

"Sir, come along, hurry" said Awang, shouting as he ran.

"Yes", Leman answered briefly.

While running out of the courtyard Arman threw his spear towards a wolf so-called occurrence.

Arman's spear throws into the stomach of a wolf, causing it to fall.

Awang and others ran through the thickets away from the house of Ncik Dolah who began to burn.

"Quick, run", cried Awang to Leman, he still took a moment to look back.

"Yes" said Leman, then moved back.

Suspecting Leman had followed, Awang caught up with two of his men who were already running in front.

A safest on the waist dropped Leman, quickly he rolled to the side.

"I can't run" thought Leman. "Go my brothers in arms, I will give you time to escape" he said in his heart.

A slash of claws was successfully dodged, the creature's claws scraping deeply into the ground. Leman squinted and tried to stand up. The other creature pounced, Leman jumped sideways then twisted the body and swung the machete.

The creature that was slashed by the machete opened its mouth and bit Leman's machete and held it there.

Leman shook with all his might for the cleaver to come off but the creature biting so strongly was unwilling to let go.

"Grraah.." suddenly from behind, the giant wolf that had been busy preying on Hamid was now pouncing and biting on Leman's neck.

Leman could no longer move, his hands were flailing meaninglessly, his cleaver was already loose, banging in the wolf's mouth so-so. With a fist he beat the giant wolf that bit his nape.

The giant wolf pulled Leman away from the light of the fire. Two wolves started clawing and biting all over his body.

Leman's clothes were torn apart uncontrollably even though there were no injuries to his body.

While the fire was already burning large in the building, Ki Bayu painstakingly dumped the objects that hit his body and jumped out, there were several burns on his body.

The clothes are also smoky here.

Leman saw that, "it looks like the fire had an effect on them", he thought.

Ki Bayu yelled so thunderously his anger "Aaaarggh.", he was really angry because of the actions of Awang and his friends. He cut his chips and then he lunged forward and plug the keris in Leman's chest.

Leman may not be harmed by these creatures, but Ki Bayu keris is not a kris.

Keris Nogo Ireng managed to pierce through Leman's body lodged right in his heart.

Awang and his friends gather in a stilt house that his owner left by the river.

This place has always been a meeting point for him and his people.

The man sat at the door, looking down. Some of his men stood guard outside the stage house, others told him to rest inside.

Still too dark to walk home, after all it could be Uncle Leman following thought Awang.

Just a moment ago in panic none of them realized that Uncle Leman was not with them.

The crew only realized after quite a distance they ran.

It's a shame to leave a friend in danger. He turned around then ran back towards Ncik Dolah's house. But his two friends held on with all their might and were forced to drag him along.

Awang sat in front of the hut leaning shoulder to the door frame, his chest felt heavy because it was furious and sad, it felt like something was clumping inside the chest and did not want to come out.

He still did not accept his friends being killed in such a manner.

Soon because he was so tired of his body and soul he fell asleep just like that while leaning against the door.

Long enough Awang fell asleep before he dreamed of seeing a wolf so-so and a giant wolf tearing his friends apart.

The wolf came at him with a mouth full of blood.

He woke up when he heard the voice of the girl Ruslan brought delirious and screamed.

"Ssh. ssh. calm down, there's nothing, Uncle here takes care of you, just sleep again" Ruslan's voice rang the boy back to sleep.

The boy hugged Ruslan's arm tightly and then closed his eyes again.

Still dark outside, Ruslan leaned back against the wall of the hut while stroking the boy's head.

Awakened awang told his men who were standing guard to rest.

"Let me change the guard, you rest" he said.

In his heart he still hoped that at least Uncle Leman would catch up with them here.

The sun had risen, Awang woke some of his people who were still asleep.

"The rest of you rest first, some find food for breakfast, after that do not wait for us, just go back to the headquarters" Awang ordered.

Awang's friends nodded in agreement.

Awang and two of its members walked back down the road they had been on last night.

They continued their journey without saying anything because they were both upset.

Arriving at the house of Ncik Dolah, the house was burned, only a few smoldering poles left here.

Hamid's body, Uncu Aswin lying in the courtyard.

In the middle of the courtyard covered by Uncle Leman's body, his clothes torn there and his claws. Awang turned his corpse over and saw a gaping wound on the chest.

Awang battered in front of the bodies of his friends.

For a moment he was silent like that, while Mat Kecik and Arman went to the well.

They carried the body of Ncik Dolah's wife from the back of the house carefully so as not to increase the body parts that were released.

They carried and laid the body of the poor woman in the yard.

"Wang see" said Arman. Awang looked on with a pushy look, jolted from the daydream.

Arman pointed to the ground.

On the ground where Leman had fallen, on the part where his hand had previously been lying, there was an image on the ground.

Awang noticed the picture, like a picture of a fire tongue, they looked in wonder.

"It seems Pakcik wants to convey something, unfortunately he can not write" said Mat Kecik.

"It's possible, just that we don't know what it means" Arman replied.

They fell silent again, and did not discuss the incident further.

Awang stood up and invited his two friends to take care of the corpse.

They together scrape a makeshift hole just enough to enter the corpse so as not to be disturbed by wild animals.

By midday they had finished scraping the hole for the tomb.

Two holes side by side for Ncik Dolah and his Wife.

While a little further three holes side by side for their three friends.

After the five people were buried, Awang recited a prayer, a few drops of tears falling on his cheeks.

They put a wooden tombstone and some stones as tomb markers.

Then Awang and his two friends walked slowly, heading home to their headquarters.

Three days later in Bahorok, the sun was just beginning to shine.

Ulong was sitting enjoying coffee and boiled yams with his friends in the Hall.

After breakfast they plan to go to a place on the edge of the kingdom of singal because there is a meeting for the leader of the army that they must attend.

This meeting was held to address the company reinforcements who arrived five days ago, as well as to share any information that might be useful for the struggle.

Some men had tethered horses outside waiting for those who were having breakfast, five in number.

"This journey is quite far, about a day if you walk, or half a day when riding" Ulong explained to Parman.

Then Ulong discussed a few more things with his people, including the Surgeon General about logistics, and others.

Laksmi sat next to Ulong, Putra and a few more people sitting leaning against the wall of the room to the right.

Siti sat not far in front of them enjoying a meal, while Paijo, as usual, sat by the door waiting for anything to be done.

Ulong and almost everyone here like Paijo because he always tries to make himself useful, even trivial things will be done with joy.

After breakfast, Siti came out and stood beside the big house.

He cleared his throat as Paijo passed by. Paijo was carrying a dirty plate to get him to the back. Paijo bowed respectfully, and only said "neng", then walked back.

This person does not understand the cue Siti thought. By the way, or worry cake, I'll go a little far inward.

"Waiting man".

Paijo stopped, pounding his heart.

Shamefully Siti then said,

"bang, Siti wants to go accompany Ulong and the others.

"I. yes" replied Paijo grogi.

They kept silent for a moment not knowing what else to say, Siti then smiled and stepped towards her friends.

After walking a few steps, "Urrggh" he said, clenching his hands, Siti was upset because of how short their conversation was.

Ulong and Laksmi were already sitting on their respective horses, side by side they were running the horses slowly away, then stopped observing the people behind them.

The son was also sitting on a horse but was still standing near the other two horses.

That morning Laksmi was wearing a black hood, a dark red shirt, with black pants, on the outside she was wearing a holster that was involved to the waist, a snout tucked in the left waist, a cleaver on the right waist, a cleaver on the right waist, and the arrow is held.

"It's so pretty Laksmi this morning".

"It looks like the rain will not fall, really the day will be bright" Ulong whispered without turning his head.

Laksmi smiled at Ulong's words.

"Beautiful brother is poetry, hearing it as if the war is over" Laksmi replied in a whisper.

Ulong laughed silently at the reply of his beautiful lover.

Siti also climbed on her horse, she lyrics Laksmi who smiled at him.

"Who are we waiting for?" said Siti realized that they had not left as well after she got on her horse.

One horse still looks empty.

Before long Paijo appeared scattered with a bundle of cloth.

He put the bundle on the horse's back and then he groggyly as usual rode his horse.

Ulong turned his face away, he was worried that Paijo had fallen.

After a moment he dared to glance, miraculously this time inexplicably Paijo was not careless and fell.

Siti's face reddened, "were I must say goodbye, if the brother turned out to come.

The son, his sister, just smiled thinly and then ran his horse, pretending not to see the expression of Siti who changed with the appearance of Paijo.

Although embarrassed, Siti's heart was excited.

He turned his head towards Laksmi who was smiling looking at him.

"It must have been Laksmi", inwardly.

"Uurgh. why didn't he tell me" Siti's mind was anxious.

They set off the five with Ulong and Laksmi in front, Putra in the middle and Siti in the back accompanying Paijo who had difficulty riding a horse.
