Visiting the home of (former) in-laws

Karina's car entered the courtyard of a luxurious joglo-style house. The house is still classified as luxurious because it is in a remote village that is still not so densely populated. The atmosphere of the village was still very pronounced that afternoon. Karina parked her car in the yard nicely.

The servants and gardeners employed in the mansion were astonished to see the sight of a luxury car expected from the city making everything stare closely at the car door. Who was the one who visited his master's house. Of course, no one recognized Karina as soon as she was seen coming out of the luxury car followed by Anin and Maya.

A middle-aged maid who recognized Karina immediately ran to Karina's car and approached her.

"The lady is young..young mistress." exclaimed the middle-aged woman named bi Atun.

"Auntie... How are you?" karina replied greeting bi Atun while hugging the old body.

"The big lady didn't say anything if the young lady came?" serami bi Atun enthusiast.

Her young mistress did not really show her sad or difficult face. Only cheerfulness is always displayed even though a heavy burden is squeezing him. Even when his parents died, his sadness did not drag on just one day he cried for the departure of both parents.

"Where's Bi?" asked Karina who saw the big house look lonely.

The house hasn't changed much as it used to. Just paint the walls of his house that looks replaced by a new one with the same color. While the yard of the house looks more and more plants are deliberately planted for the beauty of the house.

"Papa sick?" asked Karina anxiously looking at bi Atun.

"Ah, the usual old disease. The big master's cholesterol relapses because it sometimes steals foods that are prohibited by doctors." bi Atun replied smiling.

"Oh." answered Karina now into the house that was like her own house.

But now somehow looks foreign in Karina's eyes. Maybe because they are divorced? batin Karina was unable to find the answer to her sense of isolation in the house that had been since childhood often visited first.

"What does the lady want to drink?" bi Atun asked after seeing Karina sitting on the living room sofa.

Karina's daydreams that were researching and trying to recall past events were crumbling.

"I'll take bi myself." replied Karina to the kitchen of the house which she had so badly memorized.

"Ma, have a drink. Thirsty!" pinta Anin was following Karina from behind.

"This is non Anin? It's big, huh? And beautiful as his mother when he was a child." said bi Atun who was amazed by Anin's face which was similar to a small version of Karina.

Karina smiled happily. Indeed, anyone would easily see his daughter who was very similar to him. And Jo loved Anin very much because it was similar to Karina, like being 'ngemong' Karina with Anin, that's what Jo said when Karina asked why she loved Anin so much.

The sound of the roar of the car engine was parked in the courtyard of the mansion. Bi Atun immediately looked forward who already knew whose car engine sound was.

"Bi, don't tell mama about me. I want to surprise you." whispered Karina before bi Atun reached the front door of the house.

Bi Atun ran over to the big lady who was helping to get his big master.

"Who's the guest bi?" mama Keanu asked to see Bu Atun approaching.

"He's in the mistress."

"Who?"

"There is" replied bi Atun who smiled funny.

"You are" replied Keanu's mother who was not angry to hear bi Atun's joke. They are as familiar as their friends.

Mama Keanu curiously looked around the living room, but there were no guests looking for her.

"Where's the guest bi?" ask Ken's mom impatiently.

"Ke.ju.tan.." cried Karina who appeared from inside the house followed by Anin and Maya.

"Sarin!" exclaimed mama Ken after sitting the body of papa Ken on the living room sofa.

"Mama." exclaimed Karina who hugged Mama Ken tightly.

Unknowingly her tears were dripping either from being happy or sad.

"You're naughty yeah, don't want to visit us anymore." mad Mama Ken pretended.

"Sorry ma. Karina is busy, and Anin also has to go to school. Now mumpung is still on leave and Anin is off school." replied Karina whose tears could not be dammed even more swift flowing.

"Hey... Why are you crying?" entertain mama Ken while wiping her tears as lovingly as her own daughter.

"Today was happy to meet mom and dad." replied Karina as she pleased with a happy smile.

"Have... already..ini Anin? Eyang's grandson?" asked Ken's mother instead to look at Anin who had been standing next to Karina.

Karina was unable to answer him just nodding in agreement. Of course they haven't met for long. Because the last time Papa and Ken's mom visited them was when Anin was two or three years old.

"Papa." said Karina instead of hugging Papa Ken, while greeting and peeping the back of Papa Ken's hand.

"You look healthy. Where's Ken?" ask Papa Ken who didn't see Keanu with Karina.

Karina immediately stiffened and thought hard what reason would be said if it had arrived.

"Mas Ken is training abroad ma, because he is rising" Karina's reason that makes papa Ken oh ria.
