Keanu

As a child Keanu was a child whom his parents loved very much. The death of the older sister at the age of one year due to fever made her parents so loving Keanu and pampering him that he became a loving child.

When he was six years old, the house next to his parents the arrival of a new occupant who is believed to have bought the house was long empty. They have a little daughter who is less than a year old. When he met his mother, Keanu's mother immediately loved the cute little girl. And the little girl immediately welcomed Mama Keanu's invitation, even though they had just met.

Karina the name of the little girl. From the age of ten months, Karina was always entrusted to her nanny when both parents worked. His father was a soldier who often served out of town. And her mother is an elementary school teacher not far from their home now. The reason they moved next door to Keanu's house was because his mother was transferred to the village as a condition for being appointed a civil servant.

But after getting to know the Keanu family, Ken's mother forced Karina's mother to leave Karina to him. After all, she was just a confused housewife busying herself when her husband took care of his work in the office. And now Karina was always at Ken's house when Karina's mother left to teach.

Ken initially hated Karina because Karina was too domineering for her mother but the tight grip of the tiny fingers on Ken's fingers made Ken melt when he saw the cute look of the little girl. Until finally Ken considers Karina as a sister who must be protected.

Until the time of the new school entered school, Ken's mother enrolled Ken to elementary school because he had reached the age of school children. And of course Ken went to school where Karina's mother taught, so Ken always went with Karina's mother. But on the first day of school, Ken's fingers were held tightly by Karina who was crying hysterically because she did not want to be left behind.

"Today, big brother first huh, later go home to school we play again?" entertain Ken at that time.

The hysterical cry was getting louder and made everyone lose their heads until Ken finally held Karina even though a little difficulty even looks funny.

"Today, according to brother huh, sister right school?" comfort Ken again and Karina's cry subsides.

"...WILL..NA..NA...?"((right?) karina answered with her baby language.

"Sure." replied Ken confidently nodding his head.

Karina smiled happily and she turned to look at Ken's mother's face and asked to be carried. Mama Ken smiled as did Karina's mother who felt lucky her daughter was with the Ken family.

Since then, Keanu always say goodbye to Karina when she will leave school even though Karina has not been delivered to her home. Ken approaches Karina's house to look after her until Karina's mother is ready to go to teach.

"Ken, are you ready, son?" asked Karina's mother when she saw Ken was playing around with Karina in her school uniform.

"It's mom." replied Ken politely.

Karina's mother indeed told her to call her mother, in addition to getting Karina to also call her mother. Ken just smiled happily.

They leave after taking Karina to Ken's mother's house. Ken's family includes the most respected and richest people in the village. The plantation business owned by Ken's parents is so extensive that it can employ the villagers. But due to the humility of Ken's parents, the villagers have great respect and respect for them.

"Yes Mom?" Ken looked at Karina's mother plainly.

"Thank you for taking care of Karina, mother's daughter." said Karina's mother sincerely.

"Father Mom, I love Karina as much as my own sister" Ken replied, making Karina's mother smile.

"Want to promise mom?"

"What promise Ma?" ask Ken full of question marks.

"Mother asks, please keep Karina by your side always. Yea?" pinta Karina's mother looked at Ken expectantly.

"Ken promised Ma. Will take care of Karina even to adulthood." promised Ken.

"Thank you son." replied Karina's mother.

"Ehm." nods Ken.

"Yes, already. Get in class there!"

"Yes Mom." Ken ran to his class.

Since then Ken always takes little Karina wherever he plays. Even she protects Karina whenever any child insults her. He was like a brother protecting his sister. He is like a man who takes care of his wife.

Until Karina doesn't let go of Ken's finger hook wherever she goes if she doesn't go to school. Karina always followed Keanu wherever she walked until she was five years old.

Karina's always stalking him and Ken doesn't mind. She had promised Karina's mother to look after her wherever she was.
