Trapped on Zombie Island

Chapter 8

Dave, who had just arrived with the four others, asked Willy to tell him what he saw while traveling the island to the survivors.

"So my friends and I wanted to explore this island while looking for a signal, unfortunately we did not get a signal at all, but we saw a building not far from this forest." Willy pointed at the forest not far from the beach.

His friends Willy confirmed Willy's words.

All who were there were flabbergasted to hear it, there was a hint of relief, wishing there were inhabitants on this island.

"Are you sure there's a building?" ask Diego with a pressing tone. Diego still faithfully holds Cindy who is still sleeping.

"Right bang, we saw it but not until we checked it, only the building looked shabby like a dead town."

"It seems like my guess is right, there is life here" said Victor, "Although it's like a dead city but the point is that there have been people here, we can use the building there to rest while thinking about how we can get out of here."

All of them who were there agreed to Victor's words.

"How long does it take to get there?" ask Marsell to Willy.

"There could be about two hours of bang" Willy replied.

There are some people there who object to walking for two hours let alone having to walk through the forest. Not to mention that there were a few people injured.

"I'm sorry it's better here, who knows if a boat is passing by" said the man with glasses, he could not carry his injured wife.

Marsell sighed, "If anything, if nothing? Will die for nothing here."

"But my wife is badly hurt."

"Let me help getong bang." Dave offered help to the teary-eyed man.

Ana apparently misjudged Dave, she thought Dave was a bad guy because back in High School he looked so bad. Apparently there's a good side to Dave that he doesn't know about. Since he felt he and his friends were healthy, he also volunteered to help whoever was injured there."For those who feel well, let's help each other and join hands, let alone for the people who are injured here."

Ana helped the grandmother she had given bread to, the grandmother was named grandmother Sela, her legs were slightly injured, she helped the grandmother to divide it, let alone the grandmother brought her 7-year-old granddaughter. "Let grandma be with me,"

Rachel also felt touched by Ana's words, she chose to reach the hand of Sela's granddaughter, "Let's be the same aunt."

Diego smilingly looked at Rachel, staring with awe, he chose to stand beside Rachel to look after her as well. Diego rubbed the back of Cindy who was fast asleep on his lap.

"Aren't you sick of Cindy?" ask Rachel to Diego

"No, even I'm glad Cindy can sleep like this, I hope Cindy can often sleep like this on my lap."

Rachel just kept quiet, she didn't know how to respond to Diego's words.

Some people there do have a waterproof phone so the phone is not damaged at all even though it was taken swimming earlier, including Diego, Diego briefly looked at his phone to see what time it is now. Apparently the clock has shown at 8 p.m. That means they will get to their destination around 10 o'clock.

Victor counted the number of people who were there. "Okay, our journey starts now. I hope we're compact here. We have to get there together, no one's selfish."

They all agree.

And finally the journey began with a flashlight from the phone. Victor and Willy as the road leaders.

While Diego faithfully walks beside Rachel.

"What's your name?" rachel asked a child she was holding.

"My name is Adel Aunty, my grandmother and I wanted to see my father to tell my mother that he had died" Adel replied.

Rachel was touched to hear that. Diego too, he listened to their conversation without saying anything.

"Dad could not be contacted and never came home. That's why Adel wants to meet with dad, especially I don't know mom died."

Diego remembered his mistake with Rachel and Cindy even though he actually did not know that Rachel was pregnant with her child at that time. She hopes that after making it out of this island, she can be given the chance to fix everything and be able to live with Rachel and Cindy. But if the opportunity is not there, she hopes she can do something important in Cindy and Rachel's life so they don't forget her.
