Trapped on Zombie Island

Chapter 15

Ana and Dave breathed a sigh of relief, staring at each other. Dave kept his phone on top of the TV cabinet as a light.

"Gghbkkrrr...Gghhkkr..."

Ana and Dave are startled by the sound of zombies again, the possibility of the zombies is in the apartment there.

Dave hasn't turned off his cell phone. The zombie came out because it heard a noise behind the door and immediately ran to attack Ana and Dave.

Dave tried hard to fight back, he kicked the zombie stomach hard so that the zombies could gain a little from him. Then the raised LED TV smacked it into the zombie.

Ana is trying to find something to defeat the zombies, she is flabbergasted when she sees a sword on the wall. Ana stepped on her foot to carry the sword.

Ana sees Dave who is very overwhelmed with the zombies, she keeps trying to fight so that the zombies do not bite her.

Ana runs to help Dave by sticking a sword into the zombie's back.

The zombie instead turned towards attacking Ana. Ana runs into the balcony of the apartment, which happens to be open.

Dave chases after them, surprised to see Ana almost fall down, "Ana!"

Luckily Ana immediately held onto the balcony railing firmly, until her body hung up. While down there a lot of zombies gathered looking up, who prepared to devour it if Ana fell off the balcony.

Dave pulled back the sword that stuck in the back of the zombie, until it turned back to attack him again.

"Dave!" lirih Ana, she was not strong enough to hold on to the iron fence.

Dave stabs back the zombie chest and drags it to the balcony railing so the zombie falls down.

Ana almost screamed to see it let alone the zombie falling past her.

Dave drops the sword on the floor, he grabs Ana's hands, and with full force he tries to pull Ana's body back to the balcony.

The two of them could only be sprawled on the balcony floor panting, very exhausted, from earlier they had to run away from the zombies.

At least their position is a little safe now.

They immediately got up and looked at the view down there. With the reflection of the moonlight, they could see the zombies that were still busy preying on the people there.

They remember their four friends.

"Let's go, I hope they're alive and we can get together again."

"Thank you..." Ana said it solemnly, "Thank you for helping me. I couldn't have lived until now if I hadn't met you." Ana looked at Dave with a sad look.

Dave nodded his head, he stared softly at "Yes together. I'll do anything to save you."

"Why did you do it?"

Dave did not have time to answer because he heard the screams of women whose bodies were torn to shreds brutally bitten by the zombies below.

Dave went inside to bring his phone, accidentally seeing a big flashlight on the nightstand.

Dave immediately brought the flashlight, then directed the flashlight down. Ana doesn't know what Dave's doing.

Dave pointed the flashlight at the car that was in Nino, Nino and Victor saw the reflection of the flashlight, they looked up there behind the car glass. They didn't know who was directing the flashlight, but it was a sign that people up there told him there was a safe place in the building.

"Who is he?" ask Nino, curious.

"No idea, but that means we have a destination. It looks like he's safe in the building because that's why he tells us to run there." said Victor, although he didn't know how to run there because there are still many zombies outside the car.

But he saw the zombies instead chasing the flashlight, until scattered to the asphalt overlapping each other.

Dave saw there was one more car down there, maybe somebody. Dave pointed the flashlight at the car there. Apparently it was the car Diego was occupying.

"Where's the flashlight from?" ask Rachel. Rachel then let Adel hug her. While Cindy sat on Diego's lap, hugging him tightly.

The zombies there are very much reacting to that flashlight.

Diego looks up there behind the windshield, "Maybe he tells us they're on top of that building. They could've found a safe place."

Diego notices the zombies are very reacting to the light, maybe he guessed wrong, the zombies are not blind, but he can see if there is light, he said, that means they could have been more brutal during the day because they could see their prey.

"We need to get out of here" Diego said.

"Papa, Cindy's scared." Cindy said, her body was trembling.

Diego hugged Cindy tightly, "Don't be afraid baby. Papa will protect you."

Diego thought of how they could leave the car while there were still many zombies outside the car.
