The co-pilot was using binoculars towards the rooftop there, he saw that there were people waving their hands at the helicopter. But he was surprised to see that there were a lot of creepy people, "Oh below there are terrible monsters, maybe the monsters are called zombies?"

For them, the word zombie was familiar because it had heard the news of a failed experiment that caused humans to turn into monsters.

"Then what do you think? Should we help them?" The pilots themselves were very hesitant to help them.

The co-pilot thought for a moment, the risk was too high to help them. "I saw two little boys there, reminding me of my son,"

"Yes, we've helped, but don't let people get scratches let alone zombie bite wounds, they're definitely infected." The pilot decided to help them.

The eight people on the rooftop were breathing a lot of relief like the helicopter crew saw them, they saw the helicopter up there flying towards the rooftop apartment, that means soon they will leave this island.

Inside the apartment, Marsell and Rangga heard the sound of the helicopter so clearly, it is certain that the helicopter came to help the people in the rooftop.

Zombies run to the balcony looking for the sound of helicopters that are getting so close. Even the zombies in the room came running to the balcony, they opened their mouths wide while roaring in search of the source of the sound. There are even those who jump at each other to reach the helicopter even though it is far from their reach.

"We have to get out of here." Marsell whispered to Rangga.

"But how?" ask Rangga.

"Let's get out of here soon." Marsell came out of the bed cautiously.

Rangga followed him with a feeling of fear.

They were wide open to see there were many zombies in the apartment room that scattered to the balcony even many who continued to jump.

"Aaggrrrhkk...!"

Marsell and Rangga immediately ran because during the day zombies would be able to see them.

The zombies hear their voices.

Unexpectedly while near the door, Marsell pushed Rangga down and ran away.

"Please!" yell Rangga.

Automatic Rangga could not save himself, he had not been able to wake up, the zombies had swarmed over him, ripping his body apart brutally.

There were some zombies running after Marsell, even when Marsell made it into the emergency stairs, there were a lot of zombies as well. The zombies attacked him, even managed to bite his hand, but Marsell did not give up, he continued to rebel and fight, then ran towards the rooftop.

"Arrrghghh...." Marsell groaned in pain as there were zombies biting his arm again. He must not give up, push and hit the zombie and run again, no matter how many zombies chase him.

The helicopter began to lower its altitude in line with the edge of the rooftop, the helicopter crew slowly lowered the ladder of the rescue rope from the helicopter.

The co-pilot tells them to quickly climb up, they put the little boy first, Diego helps Cindy to climb up the stairs, it appears that Diego was talking seriously with the co-pilot after the co-pilot wanted to see the wound on Diego's hand as it looked at Diego's cloth-covered hand.

After taking the deal together, then Diego dropped back to help Adel also to rise to the top.

Dave, Ana, and Rachel immediately ran to hold the door so that not many zombies entered.

While Diego continues to shoot dozens of zombies that are still in the rooftop, until there are no zombies left.

But unfortunately Dave, Rachel and Ana are very overwhelmed to hold the door.

Marsell just quietly laid himself on the floor while grimacing in pain due to the zombie bite scars on his hands. And no one knew that because those who were there were focused on holding the door.

Diego hurriedly pushed the long iron chair tugging at him with the door. He tells Ana to quickly get on the helicopter let alone the co-pilot to keep shouting for them to quickly board.

"But how are you?" ask Ana to Dave.

"We'll catch up." answered Dave.

With a heavy heart running quickly to climb up the rope ladder, Dave continued to notice Marsell who was very strange. He turns up as soon as he sees Marsell, whose eyes are all white, Marsell runs to attack Ana.

Dave immediately runs to help Ana, kicking Marsell's body hard.

"Ride up!" tell her to Ana.

Ana soon climbs to the top even though her heart is very unsettled to see Dave fighting with Marsell.

Dave loses the power to face Marsell, until Marsell lifts his body, and slams Dave's body to the floor violently.

"Dave!" yelled Ana, she could not concentrate on climbing up that rope ladder.

Victor, who felt himself to be like Marsell too, immediately ran to hit Marsell, even allowing himself to be bitten by Marsell when Marsell ran to bite Dave.

"Aaggrrrhkk!"

Marsell started acting like a zombie, while Victor's eyes started to turn white. Diego wanted to shoot Marsell, but unfortunately the bullet was out.

"Ah shit!" Diego swears. He told Rachel to get on the helicopter. He thought they would not be able to hold the door any longer. "Quick you're up!"

Rachel couldn't have left Diego alone.

"No, you have to go up, too."

Diego continued to focus on holding the door, especially Zombie hands have managed to sneak into the sidelines of the door.

Dave, whose body is crumbling, desperately trying to stand up, is confused between having to help the helpless Victor fight with Marsell or helping Rachel and Diego who are trying hard to hold the door.

Dave is shocked to see Marsell biting Victor's body and slamming his body down.

"Oh Docteeer!" shouts Dave with teary eyes.

So did Diego, he was devastated and his heart ached to see him.

Dave saw the sword Diego always uses, he grabbed it to fight Marsell.

"Aaggrrrhkkp...Aaggrrrhkk..." Marsell has turned completely into a zombie, he keeps trying to attack Dave whose body is still in pain.

Dave tears up, even though Marsell is now turning into a zombie but for him Marsell is his best friend, he can't possibly kill Marsell, let alone slash his head.

Dave dropped his sword on the floor.

Ana, who was already in the helicopter, was surprised to see Dave who did not want to fight Marsell. Anxiety plagued him, he was afraid Marsell would hurt Dave.

"Oh no Daveee!" Ana screams hysterically as soon as she sees Dave about to be attacked by Marsell.

Helicopter co-pilot was forced to shoot Marsell in the head, he did not have any preparation at all, because not knowing there would be an incident like this, he only had one bullet in his weapon.

Dave immediately ran over to Diego and Rachel who were still trying their hardest to hold the door, "Let me hold it. You guys get on!"

They could not survive if no one was holding the door.

"Son, let me." Diego recalls talking to both helicopter crews, as he helped Cindy board the helicopter, the co-pilot noticed a claw wound on Diego's hand, they are very frightened because they think the claw wound can also make the person infected even in a period of days or even weeks.

Originally the pilot and co-pilot wanted to cancel their plan to help everyone on the rooftop, they were afraid that someone might be infected there, but Diego assured them that only he had claw injuries, therefore he begged them to bring the people on the rooftop there besides him.

Diego reveals the claw wound to Dave and Rachel, "I'm infected, you better leave now." The wound even looks blackened.

Rachel and Diego were surprised to see it maybe because from yesterday Diego covered his wound with a cloth.

Rachel was reluctant to leave Diego "Wouldn't that have been a wound back then, but you haven't changed, have you? You're not infected!"

"You're wrong, this wound will still make me slowly infected. That's why I'm sorry, I can't keep my promise to marry you." Diego tried not to shed his tears. "Thank you for introducing Cindy to me. I can finally feel what it's like to be a father even if it's just for a little while."

They spoke while continuing to hold the door with all their might.

Diego tells Dave to take Rachel away, "Please take her away."

Dave strongly objected to going without Diego "But..."

"Don't let me hurt you if the infection in my hand has spread to my body." Diego begged Dave, "This is my last request. You must survive, only you can be relied on to protect them all because you're the only man who survived here."

Rachel continues to rebel against Dave who takes her further and further away from Diego.

"Remember, Rachel's sister has Cindy." Dave tries to make Rachel realize that Rachel must not die because there is Cindy who needs her mother.

Dave's words were right, Rachel was forced to climb the rope ladder with a broken feeling. He can't stop crying.

So did Dave, he cried, actually he did not have the heart to leave Diego but Dave had no other choice let alone the wound on Diego's hand so sure that Diego was also infected. Dave was forced to board the helicopter, currently he is the only man who survived, it means that only he can be relied upon by them.

The co-pilot starts pulling back the rope ladder, and closes the door. Slowly the helicopter raised its height and began to leave.

"Father!" Cindy screamed because Diego wasn't with them.

"Mama, where's papa? Why don't you come with us?" Cindy was crying, "Cindy doesn't want to go home. Cindy wants to go home if you come with Cindy."

Rachel could not answer Cindy's question, she hugged her daughter with such a hurt feeling, her heart was so broken at this moment, her chest felt so tight. Rachel was crying in front of Cindy.

Those in the helicopter also cried, crying over Diego who could not go with them.
