#55 [Bab. The sun was sinking, nan]

The clock ticks sounded over and over again. Penetrate night. On the wooden table, the alarm clock was already showing at 08:00 p.m. Many things are left behind, but memories will follow us wherever we go. That's how it works. Although sometimes kept away or even forgotten, but memories have their own way to finally return.

Tone slowly walked in the living room. Watch around. I saw a lot of photos on the wall. He smiles. Look at that little piece of memory. Real pretty. Tone is aware that everything already has its own destiny. He also realized that in reality, memories only to be enjoyed are not mourned. Even though the memories are bitter. Because from his meeting with Ms. Ann, he learned something. Apparently, no one can guess destiny, huh?

Tone sitting on the sofa. He took a picture from the table, and he looked at it.

That photo, a memory twenty years ago. Many years ago when little Tone still had the perfect smile indentation. Standing beside the teenage Bara, the little Tone stared at the lens in a happy pose and her white dress. Complete. Mr. Karso was still there at the time. Smiling as well, just as happy standing beside Bu Ann who looked still far from the word wounded.

Smiling tone. His eyes still looked at the photo. A small sheet that means a lot of things. Pieces of the past. Really am. That photo, it's becoming very important now. Because today or later, someone will remember something from him.

The tone holds a small part of the frame.

If his meeting with Ms Ann could happen, then could it be that with Mr Karso? Tone turned away face for a moment. He recalled his father who now knew where he was. Mr. Karso is still an important part of those memories.

Tone wants to cry. But, it seems that crying is also not always the understanding of memories. Sometimes memories can be enjoyed in silence. Hidden. Without having to exaggerate his sadness. Without having to be mourned until the very late night.

"Mama's looking everywhere, she knows it's here."

The tone that heard that instantly put the photo on the table again.

"Mama." said a clumsy tone.

It seems Nada was afraid that Miss Ann misunderstood because she had held the photo. Which has Mr. Karso in it. But, when Ms. Ann came to sit on the sofa with Nada, Ms. Ann smiled instead. And grab that photo from the table.

"Father," Ms. Ann rubbed the glass frame of the photo, "Everybody has a lot to remember. Sometimes even by remembering something, one's heart can be calm." Miss Ann smiled. Glancing Nada. Then put the photo back on the table.

Is correct. Maybe what Miss Ann said was true. Everyone has time to remember something. And everyone will also learn from his memories. Thus, maybe their hearts will be much better. So memories can also be interpreted as healing. It's probable.

Nada who heard the explanation from Miss Ann just now felt happy. It's true that Ms. Ann did not mention Mr. Karso's name in her pen. But, the sentences that he summarized about remembering something, maybe Ms. Ann had forgiven Mr. Karso's departure first.

And for Mr. Tio, his departure must also be remembered one day. Ms. Ann also seemed to have made peace and accepted the departure. Because maybe, there is nothing worth prolonging in the form of sadness.

Smiling tone for sure. Then leaned her head against Ms. Ann's arm. It's a little boy that his mother wants to pamper.

Ms. Ann who found her child like that, immediately embraced Nada. Then rubbed the arm Tone gently. Tranquilize. Affectionately.
