Lost in an instant
Time traveler, should I call it that?
Distance travel, will you stop without ever moving again?
What are you and I really? A human or a pile of flavored meat?
Melon or stroberry? Looks like just a sweet kiss that's gonna go away picked up tonight.
The cold dark did not sound. Fondled in the morning and made you dead. Lost in an instant.
The coast that lost its life. Tjara salamah.
"Less dramatic, Je."
"Gue no, yeah."
Naira and Una. Commenting on Jeje who was reading a poem. Coveted on old white paper.
"I think I'm all out reading it. Yes, Nad." - Jeje. Then give the poem to Nada.
They all laughed thinly.
The poem, which Jeje had read earlier, was a poem Nada had written years ago. Iganla. Not knowing what the poem means but clearly, the poem describes the condition of the heart and as a collection of feelings of the maker.
They were still stepping up, carrying some suitcases and other items. Tone looking around.
Fifteen hours have passed. The life that is in the sky is on the earth again. The feeling is so. Going back home brings some reasons to leave.
Soekarno hatta, Jakarta in the month of loneliness. Nada and her three best friends arrived. At eleven o'clock in the afternoon they descended from the sky and arrived at the homeland earth.
The airport is very crowded. This is different from the Schiphol Airport in Amsterdam. That might be one of the differences between the two. But, still the equation is yes, both become places to come and go. It's clearly visible.
And this is the place that bears silent witness. Witness of that departure. A journey that was never planned. Which is created by itself. Bringing a woman away from the gripping darkness to a single point of dim light. But now, the woman is back.
The memories were still neatly arranged in Nada's memory. Because at any moment those memories will never be lost. At the very least, this airport holds a very important role.
"Girls, fifteen more minutes. Said Mr. Tono stuck so he could not pick us up in time" said Una.
"Yes, if we wait there. All meals. I'm really hungry." Jeje said. Holding stomach.
Una nodded.
"Nad?" ask Naira.
The one asked stopped his gaze around.
"Gue wants to take a look. I'll follow you later, yes." she replied.
Naira smiles.
"Yaudah, come. My stomach can't be negotiated." insisted Jeje.
Others laughed out loud hearing that. Jeje, Naira, and Una leave Nada. The three of them stepped towards the airport cafe. While Nada looked around again. Look at everything in turn. He stepped slowly.
On the look of his face still hung the feeling of doubt that was getting bigger and bigger. That feeling is about Ms. Ann. Nada thought about her mother's condition now. It has been a year since they separated. Not exchanging news even if just greeting each other.
How's things going? Is Miss Ann any different? Or is it still the same as last year when Nada left and even worse because of the departure of Mr Tio? Tone sighs. She didn't know how Ms. Ann's expression would look at her later. Tone Heart vibrates. I hope everything will be okay. I hope this doubt is not true. Yeah, I hope so.
But, leaving that doubt, in Nada's heart and mind there is one small space to another. Not about Miss Ann. It's about someone else. And about the feelings left behind in Amsterdam. This, about Sound.
Tone stopped his footsteps. He grabbed his phone from his pants pocket. Open it. Then look at a message room that is still empty. Tone a little upset but also worried.
The sound did not send any message to him. Time has passed a dozen hours. But that short message did not exist. Even Nada's last call while at Schiphol airport was not answered by Sound.
Tone reopened the message room after he had closed, then left a short message in it.
Nan, where are you?
The short message was sent. Tone back put the phone in the pants pocket.
"I'm here, Lea."
Someone's voice is heard. Tone turned. He was shocked to see the person now in front of him. That, Sound.
"Miss..."
