CHAPTER 27 - The Promise of Alwi
Alwi asked in confusion. Her heart ached saying the end of their relationship.
"I don't know. Mama just said she wanted to see you. Can you do it? Do you have time?" Aurora asked doubtfully.
"Yes, I can do it. I must always have time for you" replied Alwi softly and honestly from his deepest heart. It makes Aurora feel full and touched to hear it.

The day they agreed to have a meeting finally arrived as well. Divia booked a private room in a restaurant, before lunch.
Aurora, who had participated in the meeting, continued to wonder curiously. What did your mother mean for a meeting like this? Even to order a private room. What else will he talk about with Alwi this time?
Aurora couldn't guess what her mother's true purpose was, because the woman's expression was so illegible.
Alwi who on that day was quite busy schedule, trying to come on time. Although he had only arrived there after Aurora and Divia had waited for about 30 minutes.
Arriving in the room, Alwi was stunned to see Aurora who was sitting with her mother waiting for her. The mother and son looked at her with different eyes.
Divia looked at him with a flat and cold gaze. While Aurora looked at him with a look of love and longing. A gaze that seemed to directly penetrate the heart of Alwi, to make him want to approach the girl and embrace her, to channel the longing that had been harbored.
But a clear mind prevented it, considering they were not alone in the room. But there are others who until now are still an obstacle to their love.
"Sorry, I'm late. Today, my schedule is quite solid" Alwi said flatly.
"No problem. I understand it. Please sit down" said Divia.
"Thank you" Alwi said. He sat in the chair in front of the two women. The atmosphere felt awkward and stiff.
"Before I say thank you very much, for your arrival" Divia began.
"Yes aunty, same. But sorry before. If I may know, what exactly is the purpose of Aunt, want to meet me? If it's about my relationship with Aurora, Auntie doesn't have to worry. Since that night Aunt asked me to stay away from Aurora, we've never seen each other again.
Likewise with our communication, even though only through mobile phones. If Aunty does not believe it, Aunty can ask Aurora herself" Alwi said solemnly and glanced at Aurora at the end of her sentence.

"Of course you also know, if as a mother, I do not want, if my child to feel what I have felt" continued Divia emphasized.
"Yes Aunt. I'm convinced. I love my Auntie daughter so much, with all my body and soul. There has never been another woman, capable of making me feel this way, other than Aurora. I could have sworn, Aurora is the only woman I love" Alwi said confidently and firmly.
"You dare to promise me that you will never betray and hurt my son?"
"Sorry before Aunt. But, what does Auntie really mean, by talking like that?" Alwi replied to Divia's question with a question, so confused with the meaning of the middle-aged woman's words actually.
While Aurora still quietly listened to the conversation of her mother and her lover with the same feeling of confusion as Alwi. But he did not want to interrupt their conversation.
"As I've said before, Aurora is my only daughter. Her happiness is everything to me. And vice versa. So if Aurora is indeed happy with you, and you can make her happy for good...." Divia stopped.
Make Alwi and Aurora become more curious about the continuation of the woman's speech. They stared at Divia intensely.
The divia takes a deep breath before continuing. "Then I will bless your relationship" he said flatly and heavy-heartedly.
The words that came out of his mouth made Alwi and Aurora's eyes widen. Smile and moved clearly on the faces of the two lovebirds. They seem to not believe if the miracle they have been waiting for, finally happened to their love. Where the woman's heart finally melted and understood their feelings.
"Serious aunt....?" Alwi stared fixedly at Divia and asked confirmingly.
"I never joke about my own child's life. Therefore, I ask you, are you able to make Aurora happy? Do you dare to promise, that you will never hurt him?"
"Yes Aunt. I promise, I will always try to make Aurora happy. And I would never hurt him. Thank you very much for the opportunity Aunt gave me. I promise, I will never waste it...."
Alwi answered enthusiastically. A happy smile still rose on his handsome face. His gaze and words looked serious and not playful.
"Remember Alwi, I only gave you one chance. So I hope you can always be consistent with what you say. Just once you hurt my son, then you have to let go right away right then and there. Do you agree?" The Divia again emphasized firmly.
Making Aurora feel doubtful and agitated to see the sharp gaze of her mother. But not with Alwi who immediately agreed and accepted the deal.
"Yes Aunty, I agree" he replied firmly and without hesitation.

The blessing given by Divia makes Alwi and Aurora finally feel unparalleled happiness. Because they can go back to continuing their relationship, even more serious.
Both families held a meeting, or rather a proposal event. They also discussed the date of the engagement and the wedding. Both parties agreed that the engagement and wedding would be held two months after the event passed.
