Merlin has returned from the library room. He brought a book and sat in his chair.
"Witches usually have partners to practice their magic. Either human or animal. Usually their partners are humans who have more body resistance to reduce the side effects of the magic," explained Merlin.
On Merlin's thigh was a dull thick book. The cover symbolizes the big X sign, latin carving inscribed removal. Book of all spells of removal. Merlin opened it and searched for a page containing a general eraser spell.
"Before learning the removal of softener magic, Phyllis had to learn basic spells. To achieve the elimination of dangerous magic, Phyllis must learn from the easiest and safest. It's gradual down to the highest magic. After learning basic removal magic, Phyllis could only learn to more specific removal magic."
The three werewolves were silent, stunned. Even so, in their minds, they become increasingly anxious. Phyllis herself did not respond more. He himself read the book. And when he trained yesterday, Phyllis actually used the general's magic.
"To learn this definitely requires a lot of trial & error, spending a lot of time because the stages are too long. During this time too, many things will happen. One of them is failure and failure. Usually the witches will end it because they don't have the heart with their partners."
Uncle Gill then raised his hand, interrupting. "That means. The magic that Phyllis will learn is not one hundred percent successfully learned and most likely makes the vampires disabled?" The question was answered by Merlin's nod.
The three wolf races were dumbfounded. Merlin looked at Aunt Gill fixedly. "But I have a concoction of herbs to ward off that disability, they have to drink it every day. Aunt Gill, I need your help."
Her desperate aunt Gill began to hope again. He agrees and Merlin gives a recipe for the potion. It is not difficult, but the materials are quite expensive and complicated. Even so, Aunt Gill had all the ingredients.
Merlin also gave a recovery recipe for Phyllis so as not to drop like today. "At home there are some materials. If auntie wants, auntie can try to make one potion" said Merlin. Auntie Gill rushed to the kitchen and picked up the ingredients, then began concocting them with Louve.
After that Merlin asked Uncle Gill to reduce the werewolves on guard as he would strengthen the protectors in the house. Most likely the vampires won't penetrate it.
But after Merlin put all his energy into this protector, Merlin turned into a black cat. Which for some time to come, Charlie replaced Merlin.
That night in accordance with Merlin's orders to reduce guard, many werewolves were repatriated. This avoids tracking vampires later. Because vampires will look for the smell of their race. And it is very risky if the smell of vampires is mixed with the smell of werewolves, let alone more dominant than vampires.

After days, Aunt Gill finally managed to make two small bottles of potions. Although there are many ingredients, but this herb is difficult to concoct because there is a special dose. Where any deficiency or excess measure will affect the result.
The two bottles of potion were an antidote and recovery potion. Where it means there will only be one vampire who became the object of the experiment today.
Breakfast and milk had been distributed to the vampires just like the day before. Because the health of guinea pigs is very influential.
Aunt Gill gave the bottle to Phyllis. The girl accepted and looked at him. Although not sure, but he still downed it until it ran out. After drinking the potion, Phyllis immediately went to the vampire cage. Behind him is Louve holding Charlie. Gill's uncle and aunt watched from the terrace while Uncle Orlan was guarding Phyllis.
"Good morning" Phyllis said, answered with a friendly reply from the vampires.
Among the vampires, Louis looks excited when Phyllis comes. These days this girl had never appeared before him. Urination from morning until nightfall, as if the patient is lacking a dose of medicine.
Phyllis explained the conditions that occurred. Many vampires do not accept, some are resigned. Which in the end many were silent when Phyllis offered a potion.
"I know you won't. Therefore I decided to choose one vampire to be my partner and the other just need to wait until this magic works" he said.
Vampires looked at each other. "Don't that mean we're only sacrificing one vampire?" ask one of the vampires. Phyllis answered with a nod.
Their gloomy faces slowly improved. With a smile and a sharp look, they pointed at each other's fingers. "ah! If that's just you. You're the lowest ranked bodyguard, aren't you?"
"Huh? Whatchu mean? Do you want me to be disabled?!"
"Losing a low-ranking bodyguard had no effect on the safety of the prince. It's better than nothing!"
"I don't want to!"
"You want to refuse? What are you worth more than our prince?!"
Instead of discussing, the vampires were pushing each other. By carrying the rank of bodyguard and handing the lowest as a guinea pig. For the safety of the prince, they could tread on the weak.
Louis, who had been silent since then, came closer to the lips of the cage. He looked at Phyllis.
The vampires began to shut up again and looked at Phyllis. The high-ranking guards expected Phyllis to choose the weakest, while the trampled would not be her partner.
"I avoid the weak. The side effects of magic are different. To reduce it, I need one that has strong body resistance. Coupled with an antidote potion, the chances of the defect will be very small," explains Phyllis.
The low-ranked vampire heaved a sigh of relief. While the others began to tremble and pointed at some of the supreme bodyguards.
Loser. There was no hope for Phyllis because they had nothing to volunteer with. Because the first requirement to become a guinea pig is volunteering. This is to avoid the tension and rejection of newly learned magic.
The trouble happened again. The werewolves began to approach, but Phyllis held them back and told her to retreat. They don't know when they're going to drop each other.
On the other hand, the vampire prince who had been silent just now started to get annoyed. He was tired of the cowards around him. They always mentioned the name of the vampire kingdom and its race to justify any petty means. Not caring about the weak and selfish. Their nonsense makes Louis ticklish.
He couldn't stand lingering with these crazy vampires. Every night in the cage, they become sycophants. Mentioning their names, hoping Louis remembers them and rewards their willingness to bring them back.
Remembering the nights in the cage made Louis shudder. He smiled bitterly. His memory was thrown at the royal family which forced Louis to marry another vampire nobleman. No one cared about his feelings and pressured himself to obey all the rules, but Louis was the first child and successor.
He's tired already. Rather than continue like this, it was better for him to become a guinea pig. After all if this fails and makes him disabled, this is not a loss for him. Indeed from the beginning he did not want his birth as a blood race.
Louis raised his hand and looked at Phyllis. "I'm willing to be your partner."
All was quiet, and then started to wonder.
"I'm a vampire prince. Surely my resilience and strength are more than these losers" Louis said.
Phyllis looked into his eyes, avenged by Louis's stern look. There was no doubt in his eyes. "OKAY. Uncle Orlan, please get him out."
Uncle Orlan immediately opened the door and took Louis out of there. The vampire bodyguards started to fuss, but Uncle Orlan managed to silence him with a snap.
Louis turned his head towards the vampire cage, staring at his men there. "You say you serve the kingdom, but this is a matter of ogah-ogahan. Don't expect to be called a hero after I come back" Louis said, then followed Phyllis in the middle of the page.
Charlie who had been in the Louve sling immediately came down and approached them. Uncle and Aunt Gill came closer with a thick book, a small cup, and a knife.
Slowly the black cat turned into a still limp Merlin. Phyllis and Louis face each other. Next to them were the Gilbert and Merlin families.
"We're going to do a couple's deal. I'm glad you decided on a partner, Phy," said Merlin followed by Phyllis' small smile.
Louis who understood nothing only obeyed. Aunt Gill opened the middle page of the book. The sheet is clean, no scribbles whatsoever. Next to him was Louve, who was carrying a cup.
Merlin grabbed Phyllis and Louis' right hand. "To do this presentation, you must mix your blood in the cup and take turns to drink it."
After that Uncle Gill slashed their hands. Although Louis is a vampire, but he is not an undead and still has a blood stream. The blood that flows immediately in the Louve. The drops of their blood mixed in the cup. Then Merlin chanted a few spells before the two drank the mixed blood.
The blood was drained at Louis' last gulp. He could feel Phyllis' blood. Very, very sweet and savory. Louis smiled, he enjoyed it.
On the page of the book that Aunt Gill was holding slowly appeared their names. Phyllis Cayenne and Louis Campbell. The pages were lit up brightly, then their names were lost again.
"The couple's agreement is over. Your names will be etched here forever. You can make a couple's deletion agreement after this magic experiment is over. So there's no need to worry" explains Merlin then turned into a black cat.
They leave Phyllis and Louis, return to the porch to observe. Then Phyllis gave the bottle an antidote.
"Why do I feel like this deal is like a marriage agreement, huh?" murmured Louis. Phyllis just kept quiet, then looked the other way. Seen from the side, both of his cheeks were slightly blushing.
"The concept of a witch's marriage is not like that" Phyllis said. Louis chuckles. "Oh, huh? Okay, I assume we're using the concept of vampire marriage."
Without hesitation, Louis drank it. It tastes bitter, very strong. Although Louis understood the bitter taste of drinking a variety of blood, but this was very different and foreign.
After starting to adapt to the strange taste in his tongue, Louis was ready. They then repeated the trials as Merlin had directed earlier.
