23 — Middle Conflict Forest

The next training day. The training method is still the same as yesterday. Where vampires are still hunted by wolves and Phyllis. But for this time, their escape range is further expanded so that werewolves aren't just around there to keep up with the vampire smell.

In the morning. Phyllis and the others worked out briefly to warm up. Breakfast and medical check-up by Merlin were done. They look healthy and are ready to face the hard workouts today.

The vampires ran in after hearing the cue from Louis. Phyllis meticulously observed the direction in which the vampires were going. Then the werewolves and Phyllis immediately followed after ten seconds of walking. Phyllis ran following the direction of the wolf who was running fast. He knew the wolf had a sharper sense of sight, he could rely on it which happened to be in the direction of the previous running vampire.

Although left far enough, but Phyllis still chased after him. He was reluctant to use olfactory sharpening magic because his nose would hurt and make him dizzy. Moreover using magic to speed up his current pace would only be a waste of energy. He plans to use when he already knows the exact location to chase the vampire in sight.

His legs are getting tired. Phyllis looked around. Very quiet. The wolf he was chasing was already invisible. It seemed like the wolf was deliberately running fast to avoid it. But Phyllis kept running even though both of her legs had started to hurt. On the other hand, he felt that something was going to happen. But while in his running, the sound of growling stopped his steps. He looked around and found the wolf he was chasing hiding behind a big tree. The hairy figure came out of hiding with his furious face.

The large sharp teeth were visible, as if they were about to pounce on Phyllis who continued to follow him. The girl walked backwards as the wolf's muzzle sniffed her body. A moment later he turned into a young man with a look full of anger.

"Can you stop following me?!" the wolf youth shouted as he pulled the collar of Phyllis's robe. Phyllis just kept quiet while looking at him.

"You want to follow me because you don't know which direction you're going, right?! I know your intentions from yesterday when I caught my vampire hunt!" he continued, pushing Phyllis to the ground.

Phyllis fell down, but she kept trying to stand up as the wolf teen continued to babble. He just remembered that the wolf he helped yesterday was him. If you notice, this figure is not foreign.

"Well! Why do you see me like this? You like me, huh? Where do I want to be the same weak witch!" The young man did not stop nagging. And now he's even ge-er, thinking Phyllis is fascinated by his looks.

Dark blue hair with light yellow eyes. The nose is sharp and the jaw is slightly wide. His nature seemed familiar, let alone his high way of speaking. The brown skin is ripe, his face is not as handsome as Louis but still deserves to be considered attractive. Looking around, this looked like the figure of Uncle Orlan. Ah, Uncle Orlan's son?

"Can you shut up?" cut Phyllis off when she realizes this is Uncle Orlan's son, Ocean. It turns out that Phyllis is facing Uncle Orlan's youngest son who is famous for his rebel nature. Very inconvenient.

"You dare give me orders?! Oi! If it wasn't for Uncle Gill, I wouldn't be ak—"

"CAN YOU SHUT UP?!" phyllis exclaimed furiously and managed to silence Ocean's mouth. The young man was shocked, the vampires in disguise came into shock and appeared.

Phyllis uses the opportunity to bind the vampires who appear. There were at least two vampires that Phyllis managed to catch by fishing, the rest had already escaped first.

Phyllis smiled with satisfaction. Put the two to tend to the tree and sit together. The two vampires were. "Miss Phyllis, is this your cunning plan to arrest us? This way will not be useful during war, you know," said one vampire.

"And you are easily fooled by this useless tactic," Phyllis replied making the two speechless. They looked at each other and breathed. There was no chance to defend himself in front of Louis anymore.

"At the same time this can provoke the opponent to act rashly. Seeing the opponent fighting with his allies, they so think there is a chance to defeat him because there is a rift of relations from within" continued Phyllis.

Phyllis then turned to look at Ocean with a faint smile on her tiny lips. "I don't want to think badly of you. But since you already consider me an opponent, inevitably I follow your ways. I guess..," Phyllis hung up the sentence.

The two neutrals looked at the surprised Ocean. The young man looked worried. Was-was seen in the highlight of his golden yellow eyes. Then Phyllis continued, "you purposely stopped here because the vampire smell was gone in this place. Realizing that I'm following you, you're trying to drive me out and intend to find the vampire that's hiding here alone."

Ocean smiled faintly and tried to cover up his nervousness. "You know what. Anyhow.a weak witch like you can smell a vampire? How sharp is your smell?" ledek Ocean demeaning.

"This place is quiet. The wolves split up and only you come here by following the smell" Phyllis replied casually.

"I can mislead you here. I'm not that stupid, little lady," Ocean said, trying to take Phyllis' opinion down.

Phyllis was silent for a moment. Ocean looks happy and thinks Phyllis can't answer him anymore. But his thoughts were too shallow, he underestimated Phyllis who had often trained with vampires.

"You like to waste your energy trying to outwit weak witches like me, huh? You're so sure of this weak force that I'll follow you this far?" ask Phyllis.

"obvious. So you can't come back!" answer Ocean loudly.

"It looks like you're taking me too much for a burden, huh. Before chasing earlier, I also noticed which way the vampires went. I took the nearest direction from where I was standing and you happened to be here too. With a wolf like you in front of me, I can use you" Phyllis explained.

Phyllis then stood up and helped the two vampires stand up. He takes the two back to where Louis is, leaving the Ocean without a catch.

"Hey! I brought you here! Isn't that my hunting too?! Or at least for me one!" ocean shouted while following Phyllis who was walking.

The girl looked up and smiled. "When have we agreed to work together?" reply Phyllis then look forward. The two vampires just followed while holding back a laugh. They could see how angry Ocean was back there because his quarry had been taken by Phyllis.
