The Witch and the Vampire Prince

The Witch and the Vampire Prince
17 — Strengthen Yourself

"I'm home."

Louis approached and immediately hugged Phyllis tightly. Spilling all his yearning, making the girl a little claustrophobic and banging her shoulders.

From inside the house, Merlin came out with three cups of drinks and was about to welcome Louis. But when his gaze found the group of black-robed figures, Merlin's balance was shaken and made his hands take off the tray.

With quick reflexes, a vampire moved and saved the cups. His sharp gaze greeted the widened Merlin with such speed. He didn't even see the vampire move. All he saw was a vampire carrying a tray of expensive cups.

"Be careful, brother-in-law," said the vampire with a smile.

"Ah-Phy—" Suddenly Merlin's body relaxes and eventually he falls. But another vampire immediately restrained his body from being hit by the wooden floor.

Louis hugged Phyllis and took her off. It was not satisfied, but seeing Merlin who fainted made him not have the heart.

"Let's go in. Take Merlin to the lower room" Louis ordered.

Without waiting for Phyllis who is still in shock, Louis takes over the house. The vampires came in and sat in the living room. Merlin's been put to bed in the basement. While Louis made milk for his guards.

Although not accustomed to drinking milk, but in the end the guards complied and drank it until it ran out.

"Phyllis hasn't bought chicken blood. So you either drink milk or hunt alone in the woods" Louis explained. No one would dare to argue.

While Phyllis was still setting her mind in motion, Louis replaced Phyllis. Where he made breakfast for himself and the vampires. From leaving earlier, they had not eaten anything.

This was the first time his guards had seen him. The super judes and fierce vampire prince is now busy cooking in the kitchen. Some of them looked at each other, others just looked at their young master in confusion. Doubt whether in front there the figure of the prince or not.

Breakfast with sourdough bread soaked in duck blood and then Louis baked. Soon the bread was ripe. He immediately gave it to twenty hungry guards. They stared at the food Louis had given them.

"The beginning is strange, but if you are used to it will be delicious, really," said Louis while biting his toast.

They cannot refuse it and just obey. Of course they immediately ran out to find a place to vomit. Louis had guessed it and just smiled while enjoying his homemade breakfast.

Phyllis glanced at him cynically. "Group?" phyllis asked, the question led to the breakfast Louis had made for the newcomer vampire.

"Yes. They will not get used to a simple breakfast like this" Louis replied casually, then finished his bread until he was left.

"Explain what your purpose here is to bring them."

"OK, relax. Let them stay here first" Louis tried to make Phyllis more relaxed. He stroked Phyllis' head gently while occasionally kissing her head. The girl did not respond, only silent while sipping tea made by Merlin earlier.

Not long after, the guards returned with pale faces. They are really stressed by the new conditions they face. Louis drags Phyllis to meet those in the living room.

"1, 2, 3, 4.. 20. Complete already. I want to explain something. Introduce before. This is Phyllis Cayenne, my wife," Louis patted Phyllis on the shoulder.

"He is a witch. He was sixteen years old, but his knowledge was good. Currently he is training to sharpen his magic to make it stronger," continued Louis continue to boast Phyllis.

On the other hand, the bodyguards gawked and only silent a thousand languages. Their brains cannot process quickly what is happening.

Louis keeps raving about Phyllis' personality and whatever she likes about this girl. What was clearly not that important, was instead making his bodyguards even more dizzy with this endless explanation.

"Louis! Briefly more. Don't say much," cut Phyllis already can't stand every word Louis throws. The handsome vampire was silent, nodded firmly then looked at his bodyguard who was some of the already quail.

"He's practicing a dangerous spell. I as a good and understanding husband want to help him. But since the object of practicing requires a strong container, then I brought you here to help your brother-in-law" Louis explained.

Mak duarr!

At once the whole bodyguard fainted tired of understanding what Louis was saying. Unilateral decisions that burden them make the men unable to hold it.

"... Louis, you're heartless, aren't you..?" mumbling Phyllis.

"Hmm? What harm?" asked Louis with a big smile.

"Are you risking their lives for me?" phyllis asked somewhat furiously. The girl clutched Louis' shirt.

The vampire prince chuckled and then kissed Phyllis gently on the forehead. "No. They are strong, really. More or less like me. There are cold and hot groups as well. You and Merlin can train together" Louis explained.

Originally upset, Phyllis' anger faded slowly. "Why Merlin too?"

Louis's hand scratched the back of his hair that was not itchy. It was hard to say the words that were already at the end of his mouth.

"I want you guys to be stronger and be able to face the unexpected strong."

"Example?" Phyllis turned around to interrogate.

"much. Attacks from outside, of course. Believe this. You need that to strengthen yourself as well." As if he did not want to talk about it more, Louis confirmed the position of the guards who fainted. They were lined up in the living room.

Phyllis could not answer anything. In the end, he decided to go upstairs tired. Louis followed after himself confirming their sleep.

Both are in the room. A tired Phyllis just threw her body in bed. His head twitched because today there was a surprise from Louis that made himself shaken.

Louis approached and helped Phyllis to disarm the incriminating robes and trinkets. Attaching the robe to a nearby wooden chair, she caught up with the girl on the bed. The two face each other.

Louis' hand slowly moved closer to Phyllis' body. Embrace it, then pull Phyllis, making their distance shrink. He quickly lifted his chin and kissed Phyllis' tiny lips.

"Don't be angry, dong. This is for you, you know," said Louis without letting go of a smile.

"Not angry. I was shocked," Phyllis replied sighing. He leaned closer to Louis's shirt-lined chest and coat. His tiny hands hugged Louis's body, reciprocated with tighter hugs.

"It's okay. You get used to it for a long time. Believe me, they're not like the vampires of yesterday. Because they were chosen and some of them are my friends."

Phyllis did not reply and simply closed her eyes. Soon she fell asleep with Louis next to her.
