Chapter 129: Not Interested in OSIS

Right now, I am in a tension with Riki and Maul. Because right now, I'm in the OSIS room and I'm dealing with Kak Alvin, Kak Fauzi, and also some other OSIS members.

Facing what I mean here is not that we fight, we are just arguing about something.

I'll tell you first why I could be in this condition.

In the morning as usual, I went to school with my friends on the bus. By the time I got to school, Alvin was already waiting for me right at the school gate.

It surprised me why he was waiting for me there. He told me to come to the OSIS room during the break, along with Maul and Riki.

The break time arrived, we immediately went to the OSIS room to fulfill the call from Kak Alvin.

“What does he want to talk about Mar?”

Maul was curious about it.

“Perhaps the issue of the selection of OSIS members to be held in a moment.”

When we got to the OSIS room, Alvin was already there along with Kak Fauzi and Kak Ayu.

“Welcome all of you in the OSIS room, please sit.”

Brother Alvin greeted us with his friendly smile.

I knew there was something she wanted.

The three of us sat directly opposite Kak Alvin, and Kak Fauzi.

“You three must have known if today is the election day of the new OSIS member.”

“OSIS tasks are a little tiring but you can be close to the teachers who teach here and many more benefits you get if you join OSIS.”

Close to teacher? That's not an advantage in my opinion. Indeed, there are some teachers who are good to approach like Mr. Febri for example. After all, to be close to a teacher, being a member of OSIS is not the only way, it's just the easiest way.

“I'm not interested in such advantages.”

Now Brother Alvin asked Maul and Riki.

“If Amar does not come, I will not join OSIS.”

“I'm also the same.”

Riki and Maul seemed to bestow this matter upon me. Certainly after this, Brother Alvin will ask me more questions than they do.

Have they both planned this before?

What can I do to make this OSIS colorful. I'm not someone who has ideas that smell like youth that can make anything colorful. Riki is better suited for something like this than me.

“Again why are you all here? Shouldn't all second graders be running PKL?”

Riki asked them all.

Hearing that made me remember that. Previously, I was also confused by the whereabouts of Kak Alvin and the others in the school. At first I thought because today they are on holiday, but there is no way they can get their vacation rations at the same time on a working day like this.

“Do Kak Alvin already have prospective members?”

Brother Fauzi also handed out some papers to the three of us that contained the calin of the next OSIS member.

I looked at the candidates closely and I saw some of my friends who entered there.

Rina, Miyuki, Rian, Takeshi, Yoshida, and Kichida were among the candidates. Actually my name, Riki, and Maul are also there, but not included in the priority candidates.

“How do I enter to be a candidate like this?”

I asked that to Alvin.

“In addition to the achievements they have in school, you can also apply and also some recommendations from teachers.”

Recommendations huh?

Means Mr. Febri didn't recommend me to be an OSIS. Thankfully, it seems like he would rather I work in the Comic Universe than spend time as a member of OSIS.

“I saw the names Rina and Takeshi.”

Riki showed it to me.

And so is Maul.

Surely my response will be considered so that they become members of OSIS. I don't think it's a problem for them to be members of the OSIS, but it looks like I have to save Kichida here.

I don't want OSIS to hinder him from making comics. Yes, although by the time he becomes OSIS his parents may be happy.

“What people who have been elected to OSIS can reject it?”

Brother Alvin just gave a small nod after hearing from my answer.

Riki looked at the watch he was using.

We don't seem to give them much input.

We finally left the OSIS room and headed to where we used to gather.

“Are you sure you don't want to accept Mar's offer?”

Riki tried to convince me again.

“Do you want to get into OSIS? I won't ban you if you want to go in there.”

“I still hold my words just now, as long as you don't get into OSIS, I won't go in there either.”

Riki said that very convincingly.

I don't know what the two of them are thinking, but I think it's like having a close friend.

When we got to the usual place, it turned out that our other friends were still there to finish their supplies. There are some of them who have spent their supplies and are talking.

“What do you do in the OSIS Mar room?”

But I think Miyuki can get into OSIS easily.

I can imagine voting for a new member held by OSIS. When Miyuki's name came out, there must have been many who agreed to include her in the OSIS, especially the male ones.

“Oh yes Mar, a lot of my friends at Junior High have been asking about you since Miyuki's birthday.”

Hearing the words from Kichida made me get an inkling that I wasn't wearing. I almost choked on hearing that, too.

“It looks like you're being targeted by a crowd Mar.”

Maul said that with a very happy face. I don't know if he's a friend or an opponent for that matter.

“Why should it be like that?”

“I myself don't know either, but there are many of them asking about you.”

I looked towards Miyuki.

Being close to him would cause something really bad.

Then my gaze towards Miyuki changed to Miyuki while wearing a white dress yesterday.
