The Companions
I was finally free too when Papa picked me up Sunday afternoon. After spending – stale for a moment with Grandma, I finally came home with Papa on his big motorcycle. I want to quickly – quickly get home, fast – fast sleep and fast – quickly wake up with the state of the day already in the morning. Then I will hope the routine ceremony Monday later quickly – finished, through the first break, economic lessons that I do not really like, the second break and then go home. I will quickly – quickly try to get home and calm down until four o'clock. Then I will quickly – quickly shower, change clothes, chase angkot and fast – quickly get to where me and Kevin made a deal.
When Papa's motorbike had reached Malang city, I had to submit to the fact that today was still Sunday and there were still about 20 hours to Monday at five in the afternoon. Arrived – just everything went slow.
“You're okay – what May ?” ask Papa.
“Nothing – what Pa”
“We find out what yuk” is
“Where ?”
“You choose place” because Papa and I rarely cook at home, we so often eat out.
“Papa aja deh” Papa then speed up his motorcycle fast. We arrived at a small shop that had several tables. We ordered food and in a flash the food we ordered was already on the table. Papa told me a lot about his friend –, his job and he asked me if Grandma's house was fun, and I replied, ''I said,
“Lumayanlah Pa” a pretty word that came out of my mouth just so Papa was happy I could get close to Grandma and live a comfortable life in her place. We kept eating and chatting but my mind drifted more for tomorrow. I imagine what Kevin looks like, how tall he is, whether his face is full of acne or even smooth free of blemishes.
I've never had a crush on a guy. Wrongfully. Wrong, I was just lying. I had a crush on Gareth Richardson, a seventeen-year-old American bule. She was one of the exchange students at my school. But my love for her drifted as soon as she returned to her country even though we were still communicating via e-mail or whatsapp. To be sure, I am now very much waiting for Monday at five in the afternoon.
I slept that night, agitated and curious. Until Monday morning when I woke up, I knew I had a very long day that day. But before all that exciting stuff happens, I'm still going to go to school and meet my friends.
Friends – my friend not too much. All you know is of course Imelda. Besides, I have Trisakti, the girl who gave me the name Imelda. Trisakti is an ordinary girl. He is not an activist or class star, although the – values in his report card are always above average. He's got two eyes like the other girl's – girl. She wears earrings and rings like other girls – girls. Everything that seemed to him all seemed ordinary. But just try talking to him for thirty minutes. You will certainly be amazed, amazed and a million words of admiration because it turns out he is someone who has a very charming personality. It's about 150. But he never complained because of his height. Unlike some other girls who don't want to be friends with me just because – is afraid to look short, Trisakti accepts me for who I am. At least you know that having a height of 170 cm is not always fun. Sometimes it becomes torture and inhibition in association. In my opinion, in addition to height, Trisakti is very worthy to be the Princess of Indonesia or if you want more go ‘intenesyene’l, she deserves to be Miss Universe because she has brain, beauty and behavior. If I told her that she just said,“May, all girls are princesses. If you call someone a son, it must be because he's a guy. Then why should we fight to be princesses if we are all actually princesses?”
Trisakti is wise and sometimes – sometimes I think that his speech is beyond his current age.
My second best friend is, a human too, named Jelita who prefers Jell or Jelly. She has sharp eyes like a lioness when she is watching her prey. I who have never had a man was ever surprised when he said that love would disappear when it was spoken.
So if I like someone, don't let him or yourself say love or affection. “Let it all flow,” That said Jelita and I need the right time and person to prove it. And if only all my hopes and shadows about Kevin were true, I hope Kevin will never say love or affection to me, let our love can ‘flowing’ like water. Cieeeeeeeeeee
“Never play – play with feelings or expect too high to someone. If you fall, you will be very sick later. Just seen his face never. The voice of the person does not guarantee the appearance or personality of a person,” Jelita who is pretentious to adulthood and feels most understanding about the affairs of feelings said.
“Maybe it is better if you are not too rushed –. That was his first phone call. The thing you're talking about khan is just a working relationship. Between consumer and producer. Just look at the development,” said Trisakti kalem. I don't know why I always feel more at ease hearing Trisakti's words than Jelita.
Hearing them both think I'm just saying,
“Iya sih”
But how else. This heart has fantasized a lot about Kevin. Just because – because the sound is so, so, charming, I became like a person who lost his mind.
The first day of the week I was restless. Not because of I hate Mondays syndrome, but it is an anxiety meeting someone.
Until now, – seconds into my meeting with Kevin after more than twenty hours I waited getting closer. I wear my black jeans with a blue t – shirt three-quarters sleeve. The blue color made me appear confident and my skin looked a little brighter.
“How do I look Imelda ?”
“You are beautiful May. Like an angel,” Imelda says origin – originals behind her aquarium. Even seeing me is not.
“Don't tease Imelda” said I'm shy – shy.
To meet Kevin I have to perform well at the same time look reasonable and not excessive. But should I tell you a little secret, today I am wearing mascara!
